Hi boobylicious - Yes you can get ov kits in Boots here But I have heard that they are cheaper elsewhere.

Feeling a bit crap tonight ladies. Just found out that 2 (count 'em ... 2) of my friends from ante-natal are expecting. They are due on the same day in November. Really want to be happy for them but just can't bring myself at the mo. Luckily not planning to see either of them til next week so have sent congrats by text and will practise my 'so-happy-for-you' face between now and then. I know loads of you have been thru this but it's the first time for me. Sorry to be so down.

dressedupnowheretogo · 23/04/2007 20:33

thankyou for the welcome all

can you get ovulation kits from boots ?

also im still having cramps so will i be able to possible get pregnant before it happens or not im confused

missnatalie · 23/04/2007 20:31

Im undecided can you help me girls. Do i ttc before my 1st af or wait till shes been and gone. I know that next time will be a new egg, new sperm new pregnancy etc but im worried if we try again too soon it will all end in terribly. PLUS im still taking my anti-biotica. Would this cause any harm if i did catch straight away?

Imawurzel · 23/04/2007 18:46

Dur!!!
Such a dumbass!!!
I had some ebay ones from someone, cant remember who.
Going to get one (or two) from boots at weekend (payday)

tigerschick · 23/04/2007 18:42

Wurzel - Home Pregnancy Test

Imawurzel · 23/04/2007 18:40

MrsMcJnr,Maybe a little 'friend' will sneak in without you knowing about it, y'know, when your body is repairing
.
I did a Test saturday just gone. We are going to do a 'proper' test (from boots not ebay) saturday coming if nothing has happened by then.If still nowt then i will be off to docs.
Tigerschick, Whats an HPT?
Hope everyone has had a wonderful day.

goingfor3 · 23/04/2007 18:19

MrsMcJnr - I hope you are enjoying your busy time

I rekcon I ov'd two or three days ago, a couple of hours ago I noticed a tiny amoumt a blood on my knickers. If it happened in a few days I would assume implantation. I'm hoping there is nothing wrong with my hormone levels causing this bleed

MrsMcJnr · 23/04/2007 16:24

sorry! but yes, I did and a Snickers! making the most of those!

Bbabymumma · 23/04/2007 16:24

I love MrsMcJnr's postings - you never leave anyone out its brilliant! Haven't seen you for a while prob because we are at different bits of our cycles but I hope you are well and things are going ok. Good luck with bding this month. Hope you don't run out of motivation like we did !

Missnatalie sorry to hear about you news last week. Hope you are ok.

tigerschick · 23/04/2007 16:11

Phew - that's one long post MrsMcJnr! Bet you need a cuppa after that!

Hi, btw

MrsMcJnr · 23/04/2007 16:08

Ladies how are you all? Sorry I have been away so long, totally unintentional, just RL getting in the way! I?ll try and catch up with you all! Quick update from me first, CD14 and waiting to OV (probably CD16-18) so it?s that busy time for me and DH anyone else about to OV?

Hello Goingfor3 - sounds like all the new things you are trying this cycle are good ones I hope it makes all the difference and there isn?t a next month for TTC

PinkElephant ? hello I was very run down and tired and could hardly keep my eyes open. GP thought I looked crap too anyway, had tests for thyroid issues, iron deficiency and blood count. They have come back needing a re-test for the blood count and iron but my thyroid is fine so that?s good news. I?ve developed a chesty cough now though, just before OV so that?s not great, can?t help thinking that my body won?t be able to make a baby whilst repairing itself How about you? How are you feeling? Less tired? Might be worth you getting these tests done too?

Hey Wheely hope you?ve got asterixes in your diary for the prime BD days! so glad about the PCOS, one box you can tick off! I?m still waiting to hear about the blood clotting issues 5 weeks now!! GP says to call in 2 weeks! I use the accessdiagnositcs OPKs too, think they work ok (it?s just me that sometimes doesn?t!)

Welcome Shantih ? sorry that April wasn?t your month! Good luck for this cycle.

Welcome Awen Hello Pobletsmum Hello Hespera

Hello Imawurzel ? sorry about AF but maybe it?s not? Best to get investigated if you are not getting any red flow at all I think. Have you tested?

Mum03 ? hope things went well over OV

Welcome Tigerschick ? hope you get some resolution soon!

Hello Gemtubs ? how exciting about your wedding! I?m amazed you can think about anything else, I couldn?t! If we don?t see you again before then, have a fabulous day and try and make it last as long as you can!

Hello Scoprio1 sorry about AF hon.

Hello PlummyMummy ? how disappointing for you! Sorry hon.

Hello MumtoSam ? fingers crossed!

Welcome Kaleidoscope (do I know you under another name then? ) & to Lexie100

Hello Meto (do I know you too?!)

Fruitful I like your style! Make sure you de-brief the boys

Fingers crossed BBabymamma

Welcome Boobylicious.

missnatalie · 23/04/2007 15:49

Can i join please. Was just about to start a May thread but came across this one. Had my MMC just over a week ago and 2x ERPC to remove baby. I have no idea when AF will be due but hopefully not too long of a wait. She came exactly 4 weeks after my EP. Fingers crossed that shes eager to make her apperance. As soon as she's been and gone DP will be none stop BD . Hope that we have lots of BFPs in the next couple of months.

dressedupnowheretogo · 23/04/2007 15:27

how do they help by the way
coz i got preg very quickly last time but obviously i dont know what to expect this time round ?/

mum2sam · 23/04/2007 15:22

Bbabymumma · 23/04/2007 14:30

hiya - love the name boobylicious! 8 months old is a fun age. Good luck with TTC. My sis has 18 months between her dd's and she was bf when she fell pg.

Cheap ov tests can be found access diagnostics

Hope that worked!

dressedupnowheretogo · 23/04/2007 14:18

hi ya ll

im mum of one darling 8 month old and im still bf but i think af is due any moment as im having cramps and migraines and havent had any since nov 2005 when i conceived so hope fully will be pregnant again by the summer which would be lovely age gap wise.

it feels so strange to be waiting on a period

any idea where i can get a cheapy ovulation kit from?

Bbabymumma · 23/04/2007 14:14

Hi ladies

Have you visited the scarily obsessional site www.twoweekswait.com. It will drive you mad but will make the week pass faster I promise! I think Scorpio1 introduced me to it.

goingfor3 · 23/04/2007 13:52

Hi there Mum03, I have no symptoms. I had plenty last week when I thought I was half way through my 2ww, turns out they were ov symptoms so I guess it's good to obsess otherwise I wouldn't have done an opk and would already be put for the month! Af is due on tuesday or wednesday next week, it seems so far away!

mum03 · 23/04/2007 13:24

Bbabymumma - wow, we will all be waiting here anxiously now with you - hope this is it for you.

Imawurzel - don't want to get your hopes up too high - but think that you should go get a pregnancy blood test from the docs!!! Were last month and this month much less heavy than normal too??

PinkElephant and goingfor3 - how are my cycle buds holding up so far. I am getting all my usual 2ww symptoms, sore (0)(0)'s and general crampy crabbiness - how about you both?

Bbabymumma · 23/04/2007 10:54

ohhhh - I thought that was case. I feel happier in the knowledge that I couldn't have done any more this month regards to trying!

scorpio1 · 23/04/2007 10:39

sperm can live up to 5 days in you, but more commonly about 3.there is hope yet!!

Bbabymumma · 23/04/2007 10:36

No - keeping away until Weds am. Clearblue have made too much money out of me over these pass months.

I think you'll be ok (fingers crossed) with bding until cd15 if cycle regular by way. I only got as far as cd16 this month because of boredom. How long do the swimmers last? urghh - too early.

scorpio1 · 23/04/2007 10:29

Bbabymumma-have u not tested yet then?

(glad u miss me and my bag )

Bbabymumma · 23/04/2007 09:56

Morning all

Can I gatecrash a little bit on this gloomy Monday? Am still on April thread but not many of us left and I'm missing tales of Scorpio and her luxurious bag.

AF 1 day late - woohoo. Holding back those tests.

scorpio1 · 23/04/2007 09:22

Good morning!

had a quiet day yesterday, bbq at friends house with the children.my eldest is starting tennis club today [sweet].

i only had 2 glasses of white wine on friday and i woke up in them orning with a headache-how does that work?? im such a cheap date . (Tiger-the bag was fine and people dribbled at me)

CD4 already today!!just discovered dp is going away to see his ds on cd15-great.but i ovd at cd15 last time,so hopefully we will have sex tons before he goes - last opportunity is cd15 to bd before he goes so i think i will still cover it iykwim, just not after ov.but thats cool because its more important to have it waiting anyway!we will see what its doing at the time.sods law i need him on cd16 innit!hes going for 3 days.

How is everyone else?
