Tiger - sounds like a good weekend i too went to a rugby end of season bbq last night...... . yeah im ok, a bit happier this week,dp has made loads more effort to spend more time with me.i can see the difference IYKWIM.If you're greedy for wanting 2dc's, what about me??this will be our fourth between us .dp says no more now,i believe him, this baby to be was hard enough to get him to agree to!you're not greedy at all, it WILL hapen for you.enjoy the bday party, knowing you too will have a bump soon enough Did you have a nice weekend away?i noticee when i havent been on here for a few days im more chilled....

tigerschick · 30/04/2007 11:58

Morning Ladies Better type quickly or it'll be the afternoon!

Hope everyone is well this fine Monday morning - if there is such a thing!?

Awen - Congratulations chick. Hope it all goes well for you.

Goingfor3 - Congratulations to you too. Are you going to test again later in the week anyway, just to be sure? Fingers crossed for you.

Scorpio - Glad to hear everything went smoothly after all. You OK in general? Plenty of bding here over the weekend too

Pinkslippers - I know it's hard not to get obsessive. I'm going to a 1st birthday party tomorrow and the mum is due again in November. I am happy for her, but it just makes me feel more gutted for myself! I really want to have another baby, partly because I don't want dd to be an only child, but dh is more of the mind that if we don't have any more, at least we've got 1. Which makes me feel like I'm greedy Anyway - I'm sure your bil is right.

Waiting4bambino - My fertile period is as mysterious as the sphinx so we just bd whenever we have the time and the energy. It keeps us sane as I think dh would resent bonking to order. I suppose that is one of the few good things about being so irregular.

MrsMc - How's the boss? And everything else? Dh happy to bd this weekend?

Bbabymumma - how's it going on the January thread? How are you getting on?

Everyone else - Hi and hope you are well

We had a great weekend. Probably a good job that I'm not pg as I put a few pints away on Saturday to say the least We went to a bar after the rugby and dh got the band to play happy birthday to me - the whole bar joined in. Sooooo embarassing!! It was a bit odd to be p*ed in public as I haven't done that since dd was born! Anyway, 365 days til the big 3-0

goingfor3 · 30/04/2007 11:21

scorpio1 - It's alright! When I see people who have posted saying they have a faint line I always tell them the same thing as you told me.

scorpio1 · 30/04/2007 11:13

goingfor3 - well done then!!sorry i wasnt being funny, just didnt want you to get all excited too early IYKWIM. WELL DONE!!

Bbabymumma · 30/04/2007 11:10

oh goingfor3 very exciting news. Well done!

I see Awen is due Dec! Good luck with everything.

goingfor3 · 30/04/2007 11:09

There's no squinting required with the FR test, 3 year old DD2 could see it!

scorpio1 · 30/04/2007 11:02

Goingfor3 - wait until friday and test again - the line will be very obvious by then and no squinting required! Good luck though

goingfor3 · 30/04/2007 10:57

Congratulations Awen! I thinm I'm going to be joining you in due in Jan.

I did a clearblue yesterday, I took it aprt after a few minutes and saw a very very faint line. This morning I did a boots test and a faint live appered after a couple of mintues( I didn't have to take that one apart!). I just did a FR and there is a light but visable pink line. I'm trying not to get too excited because the chances of miscarriage are so high especially as I'm only about 10 days dpo but I can't help it

Bbabymumma · 30/04/2007 10:28

Hi ladies hope you're all well. Good luck to you all.

Congratulations Awen!! Excellent news. Come on to the Jan thread if you feel brave enough.

Scorpio1 - happy to hear weekend went well. Lots of good wishes to your friends poorly baby.

scorpio1 · 30/04/2007 08:03

awen yay, about time girly!! so pleased for you.

nothing horrible happened this weekend thank god.although im a bit today because my friends baby is poorly in hospital this morning.he should be fine though

CD11 here and so much practise over the weekend and yeah,we do outside the fertile window rather a bit .

Pinkslippers-hey chick, you ok?i know totally what you mean about the obsesiveness.i try not to come on hee too much either

Tiger-ok??

Hey everyone else

plummymummy · 30/04/2007 03:07

great news awen.

karma · 29/04/2007 13:09

Fantastic news awen, really pleased for you. Take care of yourself.
Waiting4bambino - to answer your question, yes we do do it at any time of the month. One reason for this is that after misc. in Feb I think my cycle is all over the place and I'm not sure ov is around day 14 anymore, and also so that I don't get too caught up and obsessive about this whole thing (although I still am at times, especially when af arrives). I've kind of come to the conclusion that doing it every 2-3 days (or more if we fancy it) gives us as good a chance of it happening as just sticking to doing it around my fertile time (whenever that is now!) and I get less focussed on this whole ttc lark and actually enjoy myself more. And yes, sometimes it is an effort, especially in the evening when I'm knackered, but I guess it's whatever is right for you. Funny though, me and dh seem to have more fun and laughs when we're bonking regularly, we almost seem to revert back to the days when we first starting seeing each other, with not a care in the world (i.e no kids!!) It's nice.
Whoops, sorry for wittering on so.

MamaMaiasaura · 29/04/2007 12:59

I had wheely - took provera 17/4 to 21/4. No AF arrived and thought better re test. Worried as was obviously pg when took provera. Fingers crossed baby all ok.

Really happy tho and MrAwen over the moon too (altho we both in shock as not expected)

wheelybug · 29/04/2007 12:21

jsut a quickie as dashing out so back later but.... wahey AWEN !! How did that happen, well obviously I know how... but I thought you had taken something to induce AF ???

Fab news ! Hurrah !

More news like this please girls.

MamaMaiasaura · 29/04/2007 11:47

Hi guys.. might leave this thread as got BFP this morning

waiting4bambino · 28/04/2007 22:31

hey all, coming over from the April thread, CD2 today, was feeling quite down till i read through this thread and realised again, we're all in the same boat, and you cannot help but be positive! There's nothing else you can do!
At least this month, I should be ovulating around the time that we're going away for a few days, so without shifts getting in the way, there should be plenty of opportunities for Bding!
DH actually said he was looking forward to trying again this month! Dunno if he was saying that though just to cheer me up! I think until i actually get pg, all this bding is just sex for him!
Can i just ask a daft question? Can anyone actually be bothered to do it outside of the fertile window??!!

pinkslippers · 28/04/2007 21:52

CD 16 i think.??

Hello all well done for all bfp and sorry for all those that still awaiting for a bfp.

I haven't been on ehre much as i was getting really obsessed with it and constantly thinking and wonder if that made a difference. Or I am totally going bonkers lol. I think this is the 3 month of trying now. I fell really quickly before so I am paranoid something is wrong. lol.

Been to my sisters today for a bbq, which was lovely, she showed me her scan pics and it was amazing and so beautiful, made me feel even more broodier than i am already. My b in law said our turn next. I don't think it will happen this month haven' treally bedded alot and i sort of put concieveing out of my head. But is always at the back of my mind also if that m akes sense. my sister is having a boy.

I just can't imagine not having more children, afew years ago i didn't want anymore but now i suppose i've met a new partner and would like to have his children too. And i suppose scared too that if i do fall pg again will i miscarry again.

Anyway i'll stop ranting and talking rubbish needed to get this out of my head.

Good luck all

scorpio1 · 28/04/2007 16:08

Good afternoon.so i am still alive at present, although she has sent dss round with headlice so been sorting that out for him again.its not his fault though .anyway, cd9 here and getting some practise in!

everyone else ok? tiger-how are you and your weekend away?

plummymummy · 28/04/2007 14:06

Mrs McJ - hmm, not sure really as I am a bit ignorant in these matters. I reckon ovulation is about half way through (judging by cm) so for example, if I got my period on day 1, I ovulate around day 11, then get my period around day 23.

Wheely - ds is 3 at end of June so quite old. Tried it a few times but he cracked it in last few weeks.

goingfor3 · 28/04/2007 08:15

Good to hear you ov'd! YOu may find that you still have a 14 day luteual phase. My LP seems to be 11 days, my cycle before ov varies in length but not after.

meto · 28/04/2007 08:04

YAY my body's not broke! seem I have OV'ed late this month cos I have a nice O sign on my moniter - now DH is ment to be going out with friends this avo mums down around 10 am ish what's a girl to do?????? knew we should have bd'ed last night but I was soooo tired. since when does OV''ing make you tired and hormonal?? anyhow if my Cycle is still 28 says that means a LP of 10 days - is that long enough does any one know? - I thought it was ment to be 14 days

anyhow off to change the boy and then come abck and catch up. YAY!!! I have an O.

MrsMcJnr · 27/04/2007 23:20

Hope you feel much better soon Karma

Wheely - rise in temp doesn?t necessarily mean that but I have been looking for a rise above my coverline to indicate that OV has happened but do not have it yet. I?ve discussed the OPKs with you on the other thread.

apologies everyone else for turning this into a potty training thread...

wheelybug · 27/04/2007 20:09

oh bum (excuse the pun) - I thought you were going to say 2.6 or something ... or at least older than 2.3 (like wot my dd is) . Funny though you say she is girly girly - dd isn't and loves messy things and I've said all along she wouldn't potty train easily. We talk about it and she does sometimes talk about wearing pants so guess we'll get there one day ... when I can be ar$ed .
