yes one DS who's 14.5 months going on 14.5 years! lol. he's the light of my life most of the time. took us a while to concieve him, but eventually he was born on his grandads birthday (3 weeks early form my AF dates iycwim)

all's DH could say at 11.50pm was 'don't push yet if you have him in 10 mins he'll be born on dad's birthday' by which time I was screaming get his child out of me!!! I don't give a monkeys arse about your dad's birthday

lissielou · 11/05/2007 08:00

lol, pre-ds me too! now one more will be enough thank you!

do you have any lo's?

meto · 11/05/2007 07:56

I have no idea - all I can sumise is when we're ment to have a second we will do and have faith in that, althou tbh i'd dearly love twins - I know madness but I really would.

lissielou · 11/05/2007 07:55

thats pants! why is fate such a cow?!

meto · 11/05/2007 07:53

is only it was that simple, he's forces and on exercise for the week - althou depending on where they move to I wonder if he'd be able to pop home for a quicky

lissielou · 11/05/2007 07:53

oh crap. get him to pull a sickie

see you on june tho hun!

meto · 11/05/2007 07:49

plummymummy · 10/05/2007 23:57

so how many positives have we had on this thread? Catching up with April methinks

flosspot · 10/05/2007 20:28

Gosh and by-golly, MrsMcJ, great news! Should we all rub your tummy or something to bring us luck?

PinkElephant · 10/05/2007 19:44

Oh MrsMcJr - congrats!!! what did I tell you about it happening for you next?! We can be terrified together....

meto · 10/05/2007 19:05

((hugs)) wheely sorry about BFN chick - we'll get there together i'm sure of it.

mrsJ - ah I had such a god feeling about you big congrats honney - and you're more than welcome to stop about.

mcd - know that feeling, DH's boss keeps sending him away at the crucial times (esp this coming month) just cos his boss can't have children doesn't mean we don't want to! lol.

hope everyone else is ok. sorry to those who had AF turn up.

ooh and which grays anatomy did I miss last night - don't forget finale seires 2 on sunday - IT IS EXPLOSIVE. and series 3 is just as good

karma · 10/05/2007 17:03

Congratulations MrsMcJnr! I know you've had a rough time recently, and you are sooo supportive of everyone despite all the difficulties you have had. I am really pleased for you. Take good care of yourself.

MrsMcJnr · 10/05/2007 16:06

Soph73 - sorry about AF hope next month is your lucky one. Cd1 should be the first day of proper flow The Spanish birth stories I've heard include vertical C sections! pushing down on your bump during delivery, induction for everyone who goes beyond X hours of labour and compulsory stirrups! if we are very lucky and this beanie sticks, I'll be having this baby here in Scotland as we'll move at the end of Jan now getting wayyyyy ahead of myself now. Also - think it will be due on DFILs birthday he'll be so happy if it happens (first grandchild and he's 74)

McDreamy - or maybe you could be the first immaculate conception on MN

Soph73 · 10/05/2007 15:22

sweetkitty - good to know I´ve got a cycle buddy You also ramble as much as I do

snowgirl - I know what you mean

Anyway, have to go for today as got to pick DS up from swimming. See you all tomorrow and hopefully I´ll be able to keep up if my computer´s being helpful!!

Bye for now.

snowgirl · 10/05/2007 15:20

Than you anniemac. That gives me one more month of trying...

McDreamy · 10/05/2007 15:19

Hmmmm still need to consider having sex with DH to have any chance of a BFP!!

snowgirl · 10/05/2007 15:18

God, that really didn't make any sense did it... It's been a long day.
What I meant to say was...how nice it is to feel like I have company. Ttc seems to be something that not a lot of people really talk about when they're doing it and so sometimes you feel a bit alone in your sadness, worriedness, waitingness, etc..
There. That's better...

sweetkitty · 10/05/2007 15:12

Afternoon all wow this thread really does move so fast, I know feel I'm a fraud being on here as I will be doing my first test in June should I be on the ttc June thread instead? is there one?

huge congratulations to mumto3girls and MrsMcJ fingers and everything crossed for lovely stress free pregnancies for you both

wheelybug - so sorry to hear about your BFN

soph - sorry to hear it was AF after all, still I think your on CD3 with me so we can be cycle buddies after all

snowgirl - welcome and loads of luck to you

I'm a bit about ttc this month if we do get a BFP I will be due in Feb which isn't the best month for us as up here in Scotland the school year runs from March to Feb so having a Feb birthday means DBTB would be the youngest in the year which could be a disadvantage, also means they get one year of nursery as opposed to two. Also I would be heavily pregnant over Christmas and for DD2's 2nd birthday in January BUT on the otherhand you don't really get to chose these things and a healthy baby is all that matters regardless of when it's born (if that makes any sense I don't know I tend to ramble on a bit).

Thanks for all welcomes. And it's really nice to know that there's others going through the same lots of people are doing but not talking about, if you know what I mean!
Big congrats to pregnant and 'probably pregnant' people.
Will now go home and drink lots of grapefruit juice and order pre-seed and gear myself up for next month...!

plummymummy · 10/05/2007 14:11

Sorry wheely. Maybe try fmu tomorrow?

Soph73 · 10/05/2007 13:46

Hi all. I can´t believed I´ve missed so much in less than 24 hours! HUGE congratulations mumto3 and MrsMcJ. Don´t stray too far oh font of all knowledge
Unfortunately AF has definately arrived now so am not sure whether to class this as CD1 or CD3.

MrsMcJ - in regard to Spanish births it is completely different over here. I had to have an emergency c section and you´re knocked out completely and poor DH was left pacing the waiting room along with all the other 1st time Dads! If you have a natural childbirth your husband can be with you but there is no choice in how you give birth - no water pools and whale music for us over here!!!! However, the maternity hospital itself was spotless and everyone was exceptionally helpful. Even the mothers of the other ladies in the hospital helped me out because they knew I didn´t have any family out here at the time. Bear in mind though they are becoming more "with it" as time goes on, they just believe that men get in the way when it comes to childbirth and can be more of a hindrance than a help!!

bobbydazzler - I know how you feel I´m also feeling very and had a good old cry last night, especially as DH seems to be completely oblivious to the fact that it only took us 6 months to conceive DS and now we´re into the 7th month ttc - bloody men!

McDreamy - I´m with you I´m completely obsessed with Gray´s Anatomy. It was on last night - brill!

Snowgirl - hi there, welcome and good luck

Wheelybug - keep and be positive am sending HUGE positive vibes to everyone

scorpio - how was the assignment?

Will pop off for now. May not be back as my computer is having a bad internet day today!
