hiya, im currently miscarrying but planning on ttc as soon as i stop bleeding. not sure if that means ill fall into this month or next months thread! im not planning on using any tests just lots of sex and see what happpens

scorpio1 · 15/05/2007 20:24

keep positive plummy .im extra pleased for you because you were one of the first people i met on ttc.

i have done tests and had faint lines each time, since yesterday.showed dp tonight and he sees it too but also not sure if i trust the test, but dont need to squint/hold up to light.... i have been a bit quiet about it because i dont wanna announce bfp and then its not....

lissielou · 15/05/2007 20:23

oh plummy, so so happy for you. if you have a short cycle then i suppose it stands to reason that a strong bfp will be later in showing itself!!!!

plummymummy · 15/05/2007 20:21

Thank you I am cautious in my celebrations due to two first trimester m/cs last year, but at same time want to be positive. Keeping fingers crossed for you -you are being very cloak n dagger but leaving clues strewn around everywhere

scorpio1 · 15/05/2007 20:19

it will plummy im so pleased for you

may be joining you .....

plummymummy · 15/05/2007 20:17

I used babymad tests (sensitive). This morning I used two and got two lines each time, but they were mega faint and I had to hold them up to the light and nearly strained my optic nerve trying to study them. Tonight I did one and a pink line came up (pale pink) and I did not hold it up to the light. I have no cramps and no spotting. I am very hungry most of the time. The skin around my areola is darker and bumpy. I am getting a bit of indigestion (get this in early pg) and fluttering sensations in my tummy (ditto). I am going to buy a clearblue digital and test again thursday. By the way, I did my last Tesco one last night and a faint horizontal line came up instead of vertical. I put it to one side. Today when i looked at it there was a strong vertical line. Strange - that ever happened to anyone else? I know they say you should disregard results after ten mins. I am still being cautious about this. Have shown dh and he is happy. Will feel better if - no when line gets stronger (positive thinking and all that)

becklespeckledfrog · 15/05/2007 20:16

Sorry to gatecrash (I confess I have been lurking to see who else gets BFPs...)
Plummy - my first couple of tests took nearly 10 mins for a really faint line...Was over a week after first faint line before I got a good strong one so keeping fingers crossed for you!

scorpio1 · 15/05/2007 20:07

WAHOO YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY x 1000

which tests u use?

plummymummy · 15/05/2007 20:05

Yes I have now come to the conclusion that I am pregnant or having a chemical pg. Time will tell. My last period was the 21st April - which is less than 4 weeks ago. Perhaps the fact that I have a short cycle means I have to wait longer for a strong bfp.

sweetkitty · 15/05/2007 19:33

sounds promising plummy here's hoping

plummymummy · 15/05/2007 18:42

Hello all. Sorry you're so down pinkslippers, I think it gets like that at times. Try and spoil yourself to take your mind off things. I did another test when I got home and got another faint line, but it's definitely pink (pale pink) and it's in the right part of the test. Took a while to turn pink (about 10 mins)though. I will try again tomorrow and the next day and so on as long as af stays away. Mind you, ds came running at me fast and headbutted me in the lower stomach in ovaries region. Hope he hasn't done any damage

Soph73 · 15/05/2007 16:13

Well, my computer has been playing silly bees all day so I shall say bye bye for now and hopefully it´ll be a bit quicker tomorrow!

lissielou · 15/05/2007 15:49

lol,

Soph73 · 15/05/2007 15:41

sandcastles - good luck we are ttc2 as well. My dh also started taking the vits as soon as I did, which he moans about practically every day. He only ever wore boxers anyway, so didn´t need to change anything there

anniemac - I know what you mean about becoming obsessed. I try not to talk to dh about it too often otherwise he starts to get p**d off with me and then I wouldn´t see any action (lol)

pinkslippers - if you´re still there, good luck, will think of you often, I´m sure it´ll happen when you least expect it

sandcastles · 15/05/2007 15:01

not at all....it is just so different....why do they get all the 'fun'!

My friend has been ttc for years (PCOS) and is very peeved at how her dh seems to get the better deal with all the tests!

lissielou · 15/05/2007 14:59

lol. the best was dh moaning about having to give samples at the hospital. he gets to spank his monkey, i get some spotty 12y old shoving dye up my fanjo (tmi, sorry)

sandcastles · 15/05/2007 14:56

very true....dh started takling vits ages ago & wears boxers (tmi...he'd die if he knew I was discussing his underwear here), so not a great deal to change this time round!

lissielou · 15/05/2007 14:53

ive thrown out all dhs trunk boxers and he now has loose ones and he as to take mans vits every day. why should i be the only one?

sandcastles · 15/05/2007 14:51

lol...I know Lissie....

We were happy to let it all be, but I can't help but get into all the date/symptoms & signs straight away!

lissielou · 15/05/2007 14:48

lol no such thing as fate where ttc is concerned

sandcastles · 15/05/2007 14:43

Thanks anniemac....wasn't going to get to hung up about it all, but am quite excited about it now!
