I've eaten a whole box of orange matchmakers instead of dinner. I've read almost every post on AIBU. There's nothing happening on Facebook. I've got 12 days until I can poas..........someone join me and keep me sane

I'm finding it very difficult to concentrate on working from home knowing this is in my cupboard.... had purposefully not bought any but remembered this was here from my sister. Trying to tell myself Don't poas yet!!!!!

EsmeGNU · 20/09/2017 09:40

Oh @GreggsSausageRolls bless your heart! Hope you've stocked up on the Kleenex. Hugs.

My random symptom is I keep bawling my eyes out. Dc who started school on Monday told me he knew the way to the hall from the toilets. I was wailing at the dinner table BlushGrinConfused

EsmeGNU · 20/09/2017 08:44

I've got a bit of abdominal discomfort this morning. A few twinges. Its dpo 3. So it's either the core workout I did yesterday or too many onions in last night's dinner..............or is it...........😂

Morning everyone! Just checking MN for any fmu posts and updating my temp on my chart... I need to stop this. It's driving me nuts.

EsmeGNU · 19/09/2017 21:45

I'd live on tea if I could get away with it @Bubble04. I'm desperately trying to cut down but I also could do with out the stress! Argh!

Hope it's a bfp for you @GreggsSausageRolls even if it means hitting those tonic waters like it's only 10am 😂 FX for you.

GreggsSausageRolls · 19/09/2017 20:05

I'm still eating cake Grin

No real symptoms apart from actually wanting to drink water for once. AF due 23rd, going to test on Friday as DH and I have a date night planned for Friday night so if negative I'm planning on getting shitfaced!

Bubble04 · 19/09/2017 18:13

@EsmeGNU ooh blood volume increase causing dehydration... googling now 😉 To be fair I never drink enough so can't really symptom spot this one. Usually I make a cup of tea before morning register and forget about it till lunchtime. Must remember to buy a water bottle...

EsmeGNU · 19/09/2017 09:21

I love that we are on the same crazy train @Bubble04. I detour into every chemists I pass to check if they have any offers on FRER's just so I can stock up.

Today I will mostly be googling when your blood volume starts to increase during pregnancy because there's got to be a reason I'm so dehydrated. Can't possibly be that I've just not been drinking enough. 😂

@EsmeGNU I totally understand. I keep checking back on MN to make sure there are no new posts. It's getting silly. There are no new posts. No exciting baby names I've not thought of. No update that will give me insight into whether this will be 'the' month. I just need to stop. Roll on 29th so I can test! (Although in reality I won't wait that long as I have 20 internet cheapies staring at me every time I open my dressing table...)

EsmeGNU · 18/09/2017 21:54

Oh @mondray I'm so sorry, you've been through a lot on your journey so far.

I think worrying something is wrong is natural when it's something you want so much. I go through that thought process every month. Really not helped by DH deciding to announce, just as we decided to start TTC, that he might have issues due to childhood surgery. Didn't think about it in the year where we were talking about TTC. headdesks to infinity

Thanks for the welcome @EsmeGNU. I know it's early days yet but I always worry that I can't get pregnant. I have been pregnant once before but unfortunately had to terminate. Worried that it could have broken something Confused

EsmeGNU · 18/09/2017 20:35

Hi @Paragonian, welcome along, I'm due to test the 29th, but I've not doubt I'll start poas far earlier.

@Bubble04 I think struggling a bit is probably a better distraction technique than being a pro. I'm out of active n on the crafting front tonight at least. I've given myself a mild RSI from scrolling through Mumsnet with my arm at a funny angle. Seriously. Grin

I'm also going to join the two week wait gang! Due on 27th / 28th. Might try a test on the 24th.... searching for symptoms... HmmShock

Bubble04 · 18/09/2017 20:16

@EsmeGNU I'm not very good at crochet or knitting. I have no idea how to read patterns. I am relying on vague memories of my grandma's tutorial (when I was 8), and you tube videos... I've managed a sleeve so far lol

Lndnmummy · 18/09/2017 18:49

Hi and thanks for the welcome! I typed quickly at work so forgot all my manners. So happy to find ladies in the same boat! I am just sure I'm in this for the long haul so trying to keep positive. I'm 39 with a fair few issues trc number 2. My oldest is 6 inMarch.

EsmeGNU · 18/09/2017 18:02

I wish I could knit a bit better, or crochet. I'm going to the great british sewing bee live on Thursday which will hopeful offer a plethora of distractions.

Apparently dot to dot is this seasons stress release activity.

PS @esme and @bubble I am so joining you in the chocolate and knitting departments. Only wish I could hit the gin too, damn it 😇

loobylou124 · 18/09/2017 17:11

Hey folks! I'm due for af on 2nd October. My tww starts today. Bleurgh! Cue the Aching Boobs Of Doom and surreal dreams of chasing prams through hospital corridors 😳 ....

Tell me about it @chewbacca83 I did briefly wonder if I should start a new strategy of poas every day of the 2ww to take importance out of it.

Hey @mondray welcome to this particular crazy train. It's so frustrating isn't it. FX it's your month.

I've actually truer some acupuncture this month. I've got a physio friend who does acupuncture, not for fertility, so we are bumbling along in the dark. Can't hurt though.

Hi. I'm due to test on the 27th too. I freaky don't know what to do with myself. We have literally been at it twice a day the whole week leading up to ovulation so will be annoyed if it doesn't happen this time. 4 month trying.

chewbacca83 · 18/09/2017 10:41

Im 5 dpo so testing end of the month. Can't stop myself looking at the tests in the bathroom

EsmeGNU · 18/09/2017 10:10

Not at all @MrsMallon14, set your sights high and go for it. Got my fingers crossed for you. My Mum was really helpful telling me the other day how she fell first cycle after coming off birth both times.

Welcome along for the ride @Lndnmummy what makes you say that?
