11 days to go and somehow already pointlessly symptom spotting...

Hi @EsmeGNU I'm simultaneously terrified and excited!! It would be our first so daunting but we will both be super happy if it happens and were only waiting for the new year to make sure we had paid off all of our debts and are in a good financial position. But a few months early is no massive deal really. I'm 33 so more worried about the what if it doesn't happen when we do decide to properly go for it. I've already had dreams about seeing two lines on a test and telling my parents...anyone else or am I being totally nuts!?

Hi ladies! Can I join? In a similar boat. Myself and DP weren't planning on starting to TTC until the new year but we had a little "accident" the day I ovulated. So I'm in the 2WW for the first time. Currently 5 dpo, not a symptom in sight and counting down the days till I can test. My LP has been pretty short since coming off the pill 10-11 days so going to try and hold out till Friday when my app says I'm due. But I have 4 FRER in my drawer that I bought when they were on offer in boots...sooooo not sure I'll hold off that long. Someone distract me from the crazy

Well, so far as I can tell, all of my 'symptoms' have disappeared today and all I have in return is a monstrous headache!! 😞 no sore boobs, no funny ovarian fluttering, no bloating, no nothin' ...rubbish.

@GreggsSausageRolls looks good to me...give a couple more days... how many dpo are you?

@EsmeGNU and @Bubble04 any more pseudo symptoms? I think mine are increasingly psychosomatic 😂. I did a IC test this morning (why?! I don't know, I'm 7dpo so there was zilch chance it was going to tell me anything!!), and clearly bfn. I'm now forbidding myself another until Sunday at the earliest...that will still only be 9dpo so not sure why I'm allowing myself even that, but they're ICs for a reason, I suppose...

This mornings test, yep I'm too tight for a frer or CB, will wait until AF is actually late. Not much darker though? DH Is away so I've been able to stay calm but OMG. Shit. Fuck.

Will test tomorrow as was meant to be having a night out for my birthday tomorrow with DH in London, and basically having a few too many drinks.

I've been a blubbering mess this week, and prior to ttc I can't remember the last time I cried. Also boobs hurt but have had af style cramps today. Basically I'm preparing myself for the worst. Until I actually produce a baby and hold it in my arms I won't believe. Sounds weird but just have this weird feeling. I have had a mc before. If I am preg I already know I would have to have a section at 37 weeks due to underlying conditions so that's making me nervous too, even though had a section before. Funny isn't, I've hopefully got what I wanted yet I can't even seem to smile or get excited. I feel like if I'm happy it will jinx it?! Hormones blame the hormones!

@EsmeGNU thank you. Daft thing is it's not actually been a bad day... it's just like I've had pms for 2 days. Keep crying for no reason. Mostly when people are nice!
@GreggsSausageRolls I know it's nerve racking, but really think it's looking positive for you. Got a good feeling (and my ridiculous emotional state there are very few good feelings lol). When are you going to test?

Probably not til next week. I thought about trying to wait til 29th because that was our original due date, and so I thought it might be a nice way to mark that...but now think that two sad things in one day is probably not a good idea, so might test mid week...

@rachelandthenoodle I know. I'm not feeling hopeful this month, but there are always symptoms to get my hopes up. Not due af till 2nd oct, and ovia is saying to test 29th sept. I'm the least patient person in the world though... when are u testing?

@Bubble04 how many dpo are you? When do you plan to test? It's totally stupid, isn't it!? Getting all these symptoms and then maybe being back to square one in a week!! 😂

I'm symptom spotting like a champ today, ladies. 🤦🏻‍♀️ not only do I have those weird twinges in my right ovary, feeling horribly bloated but now I'm also absolutely knackered today as well. Like uncontrollably knackered...I nearly fell asleep at my desk!! It's only about 7dpo, though, so I think it's all in my head...😞

@GreggsSausageRolls that's not even faint! Yes, definitely try a better test just in case, everyone seems to rate the frer for early results? Tentative but optimistic congratulations xxx

So feel really daft but last night I did a test and thought I saw a line and kind of went into shock. DH was asleep so I was just like wtf....anyway this is this mornings test, I'm about 12dpo. Thoughts? I need to buy a clearblue digital don't I?!
