Here we are again! Some of us been here a while & finding it hard ttc our second, but we've been supporting each other and chatting since June, so let's carry on!

Can I make suggestion? To recap now, & to help us all keep up as thread gets long and new people join, how about we all put quick recap at end of each new message (or once a day if posting lots back and fwd as we do sometimes?!) (bit like email signature!) with the vital stats and anything else you want to add (like if IVF for example) so mine is:

36
DS age 3
Ttc#2 since Jan/Feb (early mc in Aug)
Af/bfp due Oct 12th

Might be a bit of a pain typing it each time but would help everyone know where we're coming from? Good luck all for another cycle, we can do it!

Hi all,

Can I join?

I’m 28, ttc number 2. Have a 9 year old from a previous relationship. Been with my partner for 4 years, ttc for 10 months so far. Not had any luck at all. My daughter was conceived from one missed pill. I’ve been pregnant again since, again from one missed pill. Sadly had to terminate which I didn’t want to do and has made the now very difficult ttc process even harder to deal with.

I’m currently cd28 of a regular cd28 cycle but I ov’d late (cd19 or 20) so af will be late too.

Hugs to you all :)

RhiBee29 · 22/09/2017 18:11

@Sodasoda I had a bfp 10dpo with DS but no bfp til 15dpo last time (ended in MC) so I don't think you're out yet. Good luck hope it's a bfp when you next test.

6dpo here and ridiculously trying to symptom spot even though implantation has probably not even occurred yet!

Sodasoda · 22/09/2017 12:21

Hello everyone!

Please could I join - you all sound lovely! Looking forward to getting to know you all more.

Bit about me
Age 35
1 DD aged 13 months
Cycle 1 (or 2!)

I had my first AF on 23 August post baby (I was breastfeeding but have stopped now). It was normal / heavy, lasted about 5 days. Decided to start TTC straight away as DD took around a year. Started charting and using OPKs etc. Used to ovulate lateish and had 14 day LP.

Pretty sure I ovulated day 17 but then I got light spotting and AF-type cramps 11dpo and I assumed AF started. Pretty gutted as thought we'd given it a good go and so many people have said they took ages TTC no. 1 and then no. 2 was easy! Blah blah blah!

Anyway, had slightly heavier spotting on 12dpo (when wiped and in liner) but that's it! Nothing else at all. Temps are sky high on my chart but tested yesterday (13dpo) with FRER and nothing. Do I have any reason at all to remain hopeful? I'm really annoyed as I'd made my peace with AF and now feel in limbo again!! Is this perhaps just AF getting back to normal again?

Sorry for the ridiculous me me me post! I promise I'm supportive to others as well as self indulgent Wink

Elles85 · 22/09/2017 12:17

**MynameisJune thank you. I made an appointment with my doctor on Monday so I'll see what they say.

I had a positive OPK today and ewcm so down to business this weekend for me

rooella · 22/09/2017 11:15

I'm sorry for your loss bunnieboo90. I feel so insensitive to others complaining about how long things can take when others go through so much. TTC makes me crazy! It's all I can think about.

MynameisJune · 22/09/2017 10:20

Welcome newbies! Hope everyone is looking forward to the weekend.

elles there are a few if us here that are long term TTC. A couple of us are undergoing tests so feel free to ask questions. I would definitely suggest speaking to your GP first.

Had a positive OPK last Sunday so I'm in the tww and the wait to see if I have a job or not!

I've been trying a long time now and it's so frustrating! I'm thinking it's time to seek professional help.

I'm in my second cycle and you do get obsessed rosella, last time I got a bfp I dtd every other day but this time i'm dtd every day in my fertile window JUST INCASE!

Ive taken the romance out of it and forcing DH to dtd and don't know if i feel bad about it or glad we're finally trying again.

PinkBeetroot · 21/09/2017 07:24

@curliegirlie last time I was pregnant, OPK did pick up HCG, but not until a few days after my missed period. FRER was positive well before missed period.

Beansprout30 · 20/09/2017 21:35

Twiddling thumbs here waiting for fw. It's so tricky with toddler and husband that works away, luckily it's driving distance so he's going to have to pop back for a midweek quickie next week after dd has gone to bed!

RhiBee29 · 20/09/2017 20:37

@ElephantAndBird right here in the TWW, I've got a cupboard full of tests so i need the willpower to not test early! I don't think we dtd at the right time, think I ovulated early Confused

ElephantAndBird · 19/09/2017 22:16

Well I'm pretty sure I've ovulated so I'm into the tww. I'm not sure that we dtd enough this month - dd has been teething so we haven't had that much opportunity! Oh well. I'd forgotten what a headfuck this all is. I'll spend the next two weeks agonising and then it starts all over again. I bloody hated ttc last time and I can't say I feel more positive about it this time.

I haven't got any tests in the house so won't be testing unless I'm late!

Dd 16 months
Cycle #1
Af/bfp 4th October (I think - but still breastfeeding so irregular cycles.)

MynameisJune · 19/09/2017 18:29

Ah sorry Curlie, I really hope this is your month. I always seem to have a LH surge before af arrives so have been in the position of dark opk giving false hope many times.

curliegirlie · 19/09/2017 18:06

Thanks June. I know opks can pick up hgc, I just didn't know how early. I did a hpt today which was snowy white so safe to assume it was lh the other test was picking up on and I just have a screwy cycle this month. I think cycle 12 has just unleashed a bit of craziness and undue hopes! I'll have to muster up the energy to jump on DH tonight then....

MynameisJune · 19/09/2017 10:18

Forgot my sign off 😊

MynameisJune · 19/09/2017 10:15

curlie yes it's possible for an opk to pick up hcg or at least that seems to be the consensus online. Maybe worth taking a hpt to make sure.

Impatientmummy36 · 19/09/2017 09:26

Sorry forgot the recap and it was my idea!

Ha, thanks all, we're fine though unfortunately not passionate make up scenario, more deep simmering long-drawn-out resentment here!!

Sure we'll be fine by the time it matters!... though he does have man flu now as well cariad - typical hey? As long as he's better in 2 days time when the marathon begins :)

Nubian so so frustrating love :(

Hope everyone's ok today

curliegirlie · 19/09/2017 08:55

Is it even possible for a +opk to indicate pregnancy at 10dpo? It's not, is it? More likely I'm in for a 40 day cycle...

RhiBee29 · 19/09/2017 07:21

And so the dreaded TWW begins! Every cycle I swear not to symptom spot or POAS until af is late but it never happens.

Fingers crossed and baby dust to all x

curliegirlie · 18/09/2017 21:55

I think I'm probably on this thread now since I finally got a +opk today on cd24!!! No idea what's happening this cycle. The 11 cycles I've had since dd have all been fairly regularish (just one random one at 36 days) so getting one that looks like it's set to be over 40 days is exceedingly dull. My stats...

Cariad2017 sorry haven't been on here no I had methotrexate numbers went down within 2 weeks as I wasn't very far gone. First cycle ovulated over the weekend so I'm officially 1dpo.

MynameisJune · 18/09/2017 20:23

nubian so sorry you're still in limbo, have you been to the GP? Surely at this point it warrants further investigation for you to get some answers.

Nubian9454 · 18/09/2017 19:11

Hi all you beautiful ladies. I know some of you from previous threads. Some of you might remember that I was in Limbo ..Unfortunately I'm on cd49 today 😣😥😢😢 and no af and bfn! Still feeling cramps and twinges. I'm soooo frustrated. Never have I ever ever been this late.

Anyway my stats
