TTC after recurrent miscarriage

Hi, just wondering if anyone else was in a similar place to me and wanted to chat about it? I'm 30, TTC my first and have had three miscarriages, all early (two natural MCs at five weeks, then a MMC where a scan at 6+5 revealed development had again stopped at 5 weeks). I've had RMC tests and am just waiting on the results of that but hoping to be able to TTC again from my next period, which should come any day now. I've found throughout the whole thing (have been TTC just over a year now) that it's really helped me to chat with people in similar positions, so if anyone wants to be TTC buddies please let me know!

What happened with your temp this morning, Anne? Still up?

I'm fine - a bit knackered because we had 20 people over last night, and I spent the whole day cooking up big vats of curry! Think everyone had a nice time, though, and it all made me feel very Christmassy. I am currently doing a bit of work but all cosily tucked up under a duvet!

Yeah a rise of another 0.5 degrees after the first one which indicates ovulation can be a sign of pregnancy. Fertility Friend will normally let you know if it thinks your chart is triphasic though.

Bless her, she bought and wrapped a Christmas gift for DH and me before she got really ill which I opened yesterday so I wouldn’t blub too much on Christmas Day. So hard to get used to people not being in the world anymore.

I had the strongest clearest dream last night about being pregnant. Sure it’s wishful thinking but I can still see and feel it, so vivid. Big spike today.

I’ve taken the watery out and it hasn’t changed. Going to stick with the lower temp today. It was such an awful sleep it would be more likely to be a false high. Yep, cervical position. Was soft and open Friday, medium and closed Saturday and even though CD11 was early to ovulate and makes this cycle shorter than usual I woke up Saturday sure ovulation had happened.

Time will tell. Funeral admin and Christmas prep will keep me distracted.

The dotted crosshairs will be because of the watery CM one day after, that's all. If you take that out it will probably go solid.

I can't see what it says inside CP - what is that? Cervical Position? Again if that's showing potentially fertile signs after their crosshairs it will cause it to be dotty.

It's about the right timing for an implantation dip but that isn't a sure fire sign.

I think I'd leave it as is and see what it does tomorrow, Anne - a one-off dip doesn't matter/mean anything, and I'd always trust the earlier one. I suspect it'll be right back up tomorrow.

This is with the early one. Massive drop. CD16. Going on x hairs 5DPO.

I know no one really knows, just seeing if anyone has any ideas!

Thank you. They were all elderly and had peaceful passings but cannot bloody believe the timing! Two funerals, one this week and one after Xmas. Drowning in admin.

On ttc front, this cycle I have myself some dotted crosshairs. Had it once in the past but it then updated with a solid. Said something about other symptoms making my temp rise less reliable. And it’s not a very convincing rise.

Usually temp around 7/7:30. Been later this week as off work. Woke at 6 today and it was 36.46. Nodded off again and did it when I woke again at 9 and it was 36.85. Had a horrendous night but reckon I had 3 hours before each one. What would you go with?

I would call your epu and tell them your story, they hopefully will be able to find you in the system. Ring gp too. Our gp will ring you back same day even without an appt. great service, I got a prescription yesterday without having to physically see the doctor. All the best.

Oh thanks Bertie. I'm not due to test for a few days anyway but it's good to know that some clinics are prepared for urgent calls.

They will usually have a set number of appointments set aside for urgent needs like that, kirin. For example when I called my Frauenarzt this morning they said they are open between Xmas and NY for pregnant patients only.

When I had my last miscarriage (no.5) the recurrent miscarriage clinic said to contact them when I next get pregnant to be put on steroids, progesterone etc. Did anyone else get offered the same? We didn't start trying for nearly 3 years afterwards and I'm worried about how on earth I'll get a referral in time to start meds. It takes 3 weeks to get a GP appointment.

Has anyone else had to get in touch with GP / hospital quickly and if so, how did you do it?
