I'm off the September Bus before it even leaves the station and thanks to my longer cycle I thought I'd start the October page.

Aridia I was 5days late when I finally got a very faint positive with my last baby- it happens!

Aridia · 10/10/2017 19:20

So I'm still apparently on the bus, but I'm not sure why! I'm now 14dpo, AF is 3 days late, and 3 BFNs so far.
My cycle is normally like clockwork. What's going on?! Lol!

cannonball8726 · 10/10/2017 18:58

Ah AF cramps here. Pretty much like clockwork. On to Cycle 9! Having some baseline fertility testing this month. Feeling strangely calm - normally feel pretty low when AF arrives...

Merrz · 10/10/2017 08:35

I came off the pill in March after about 12 years, was about 6 weeks before i had a proper period, cycle length has gradually come down and settled into 30 days but took longer than i expected.

BeautifulLiar · 10/10/2017 07:21

Ah really Merrz? Kind of makes me feel better for already having come off it. I suppose the longer it takes the bigger the age gap will be between my youngest And the next one, with should make morning sickness etc easier!

MyEternalSunshine · 10/10/2017 07:12

Alright pretty sure this month is a bust. Haven't been able to get a single positive opk and between that and having children asleep in our bed 9 times out of 10 we've only managed to dtd a handful of times.. guess I'll be joining the next bus when the time comes!

Merrz · 09/10/2017 20:04

Beautiful I know I wish I had come off the pill sooner although as you say I also know quite a few people who have got their BFP's 1st month off the pill.

BeautifulLiar · 09/10/2017 19:27

Ah I'm not sure then! Maybe condoms it is. Or abstinence...

peachesarenom · 09/10/2017 17:37

Aridia me too, due today but no BFP on frer Confused

RE tests sooner the better I hear

NimbleKnitter · 09/10/2017 17:06

Urgh. I’ve allowed myself to hope again this month.

Which means it’s going to suck all the more in roughly 12 days time

ClarrieWhite · 09/10/2017 16:16

Hi all! First time posting! Just had a BFN at 12 dpo after lots of symptoms (well what I thought were symptoms). It's our first cycle trying to conceive and I'm a lot more emotional about a bfn than I thought I would be. Oh well, here's to trying in November and staying positive!

81Josie · 09/10/2017 16:03

It's a cruel thing isn't it meow? PMT, ovulation and pregnancy syptoms are all so similar. Especially when we are more alert to our bodies x

meow1989 · 09/10/2017 15:53

I think my body is playing tricks on me Sad
Think I'm about a week po and feel so tired today and yesterday. Also had pinching pains on sat which are now left sided (not huge just a few now and then). Felt really hot earlier and feeling a bit "quiet" now. Boobs are really tender at the sides and look bigger but that happened last month too. I'm not supposed to come on for another 10 days and I don't have a gut feeling, think my body's just a meanie! Boo.

NimbleKnitter · 09/10/2017 14:58

Seems it works by pausing and then jumpstarting ovulation.

If it works, we’ll all be doing it!

NimbleKnitter · 09/10/2017 14:53

Ah, ok, in which case worth a shot.

It affects people differently, and can stop some women from ovulating

BeautifulLiar · 09/10/2017 14:36

Nimble we did wonder that, but isn't is true that you can be highly fertile after coming off the pill? I've got pregnant straightaway after coming off it twice now x

NimbleKnitter · 09/10/2017 13:37

@BeautifulLiar wouldn’t you be better using condoms instead of taking the pill for one month and risking messing up your cycle?

BeautifulLiar · 09/10/2017 13:02

Two BFNs here and AF is starting. Quite shocked actually as I had many symptoms. Oh well! Going back on the pill now until next month as we're going to Paris for our one year anniversary and I get terrible morning sickness so don't want it to be ruined.

Sukiella · 09/10/2017 10:40

Morning all, sorry to hear about the BFNs, nothing to report here, CD 20, about 6-7 DPO, thought I had imagined nausea and heightened sense of smell in the first few days, but just feel nothing today, all I feel is very irritated with everyboday, poor DH this morning! hope I'm not going to be this cranky for the remainder of the TWW. To all who are still waiting to test, good luck!

Fingerscrossedandfairydust · 09/10/2017 07:34

Another person in the BFN group this morning. AF due Thurs but used clear blue early detection. Threw everything I had at it this month. Feeling very low and booking me and DH in for tests. Should either give peace of mind or identify the issue, so money well spent I reckon.

81Josie · 09/10/2017 07:29

It's Cd20 in the big brother house. CBADM still saying high but no peak! Think I'm literally going to be p*ing on my money until I have used 20 sticks!! Of to Italy for a few days on Thursday which should hopefully take my mind of the phantom symptom spotting (none yet). AF due the day after I get back. Here's hoping she doesn't make a very unwelcome appearance while we are away.

Sorry to hear of all the BFN and AF's. Sending baby dust to you all!

Emabrmsca · 09/10/2017 06:59

Hi I've just come off my pill to ttc my 2nd. Don't know if I'm replying in the right place!

hopegg · 08/10/2017 23:44

Thanks meow :) I think I'd go mad if I had to change the food/not drink when I don't even know yet.

Aridia · 08/10/2017 23:36

AF was due today, but still no sign. So I did another test, but still bfn.

I got a bit upset and had a chat with DH. We've been trying since April, which I know isn't as long as many people have, and ill admit, weve tried harder on some months than others, but it's still worrying me a little. I'm 30 (soon to be 31), DH is 34. I have endometriosis and adenomyosis, and I'm wondering if we're approaching the stage where we start exploring fertility tests. What's everyone's experience? Are we too early?

NimbleKnitter · 08/10/2017 23:21

Sigh.

Peak today. On CD10. That can’t be good.

Stupid light period messing everything up
