I'm off the September Bus before it even leaves the station and thanks to my longer cycle I thought I'd start the October page.

Although we only started TTC last Friday I have already ordered FRER tests, they've come with two stick tests. They say 'test as soon as you think you're pregnant'?!?

Has anyone used them before?

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 17/09/2017 13:31

AF has just arrived so I'll park myself here with you lovelies

Can I hope on the bus?

Age: 29
TTC: #1
Cycle: 1

AF is due on Oct 1st but we may have left TTC a bit late this month as we literally started yesterday which is when I was due to be ovulating. I've explained to DH that it's very unlikely to have worked this month and that next month we need to DTD in the days leading up to ovulation, but we both felt it was worth a quick go this month at least!

Same here Hard. It does seem like VERY early days but we have to be prepared for this! I have an 18 month old which I feel guilty about already, but she'll never remember and a playmate would be great (her next eldest sibling is almost 5)

Hardheadedwoman39 · 16/09/2017 16:16

@BeautifulLiar that's so so tough, mine was completely debilitating and I wished I want pregnant at times - which then makes you feel guilty...

I used to black out when sick which is not practical with a toddler I discovered so I understand the need for you to plan to have your partner there.

Fingers crossed for us both...although I have t even made it happen yet!

BeautifulLiar · 16/09/2017 15:45

HardHeaded I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I had terribly morning sickness with my first four and then got pregnant with DP's baby in March this year, but the sickness was so bad I ended up having a termination :( this time DP is going to have time off work to help look after me and the children. I keep thinking about what stage of pregnancy I'd be etc if I had kept our baby

Hardheadedwoman39 · 16/09/2017 15:41

Hi @BeautifulLiar

I'm trying for #3 with a new DP - I'm wondering if it'll be different as I was hospitalised with sickness before (the kate Middleton thing Sad)

Some people say it can change with a new partner......

BeautifulLiar · 16/09/2017 14:56

Can I join please? I'm supposed to start my pill again today but I'm not going to :)

I'm 28 and this would be baby #5 (!), although my first with DP

Aph413 · 16/09/2017 13:05

Fingers crossed for you bubble I've really suffered with anxiety innthe past so I can understand how nerve wracking it can be.
I'm using clear blue digital. Figured they should be fool proof, I've been temping as well and fertility friend is telling me I'm at my most fertile. No ewcm yet that I can tell but it is watery so I assume I've just got to keep on testing and dtd until something happens.
Not convinced anything will happen on my first cycle but the whole process is confusing. Luckily we're both enjoying it for now.

Bubble04 · 16/09/2017 12:34

@Aph413 which OPK are you using? I've tried doing my cycles, but they're all over the place. According to OPK I've ovulated 4 days earlier than Ovia predicted, and my temp is up and down like a yoyo. So confusing...

Bubble04 · 16/09/2017 12:32

@Aph413 I hope so too! He's always found it difficult to make decisions. He finds it really scary (he has anxiety). Once things happen he's really good, and I know he'd be over the moon. It's just that first step that he finds hard.

Aph413 · 16/09/2017 11:53

Bubble I hope he sticks with his choice for you now.
Still no peak opk in my camp. Dtd every night of what I think my fertile window is though, other wise I have no idea when AF is due this month. Really not enjoying figuring out my cycles

Mrshand123 · 16/09/2017 11:39

I hope you don't mind me joining, I'm due on tomorrow and got pms symptoms, extremely hungry, mood swings, cramps but also headaches.
I hope it happens soon. X

meow1989 · 16/09/2017 11:21

Can I hop on the bus please? Tested this morning with a frer (due on in 4 days) and bfn so think I'm out for September.

Age: 28
ttc: #1
Cycle: 2 (3 but we were more not preventing for the first month)

Stee1 · 16/09/2017 11:15

Solid smiley for us today fingers crossed for all our BFP next month. X

Bubble04 · 16/09/2017 10:40

Hi again,
DH is giving me whiplash with all his indecision, but it looks like I'm tentatively back on the bus. Apparently the 'I don't think I want another baby because I want to play golf' thing was stress and cold feet. He assures me that feet are now warm and cosy, but may take things slow on the ttc front just in case... having said that my OPK was positive yesterday... x

HolyShmoly · 16/09/2017 09:40

Welcome everyone!
I'm afraid I can't help with the pill question as I had the implant but I have read that it can take a couple months for your body to get back in the rhythm. I'd keep BDing anyway and check for other signs of fertility like CM.
@pixielove123 I'd never heard of meridians outside of navigation so that's interesting. My one did suggest a full body massage if this month isn't successful so I think I'll do that anyway. It sounds like the perfect pick-me-up.

Hi @pixielove123

That is a. If coincidence! My DS is 12 and my DD is 10!

It so strange to be doing again (hopefully) 11 years later....

I'm also in cycle #1

CherryVicky29 · 16/09/2017 07:58

Hoping one of you ladies might be able to help as I'm very confused.

Finished pill around 3rd week in august to my surprise I ovulated 2 weeks later with no withdrawal bleed in between. Af or what I thought was Af arrived right on time yesterday very very light and today there's nothing. No bleeding.

I'm so confused, I haven't had a proper period in the 10yrs of mini pill but still expected more 🤔

Louise142 · 16/09/2017 07:12

Hi all,

Please can I joinSmile

TTC #1
Cycle #1

I took my last pill on August 14th but still waiting for my first period. Starting to stress a little and wonder if my cycle will ever go back to normal! Is anyone else still waiting for their cycle to return after stopping the pill?

Mummyloves09 · 16/09/2017 06:35

Hello ladies

I've been off the implant for four years however we have been using pull out meathod over this time frame ( i get some don't believe in this method but it worked for us). I've been trying to conceive since the beginning September. This week just gone was my ovulation window and my next period is due 29th September. I use an app to track my periods and fertility window and is extremely accurate.
Can I join the October bus as I'm pretty sure we missed the September bus?

pixielove123 · 16/09/2017 05:55

@HolyShmoly I also had Reflex this week. Was really relaxing. The lady I went to also works on your meridians so did a hormonal balance as well. Interesting that she told me I'm quite acidic which I've heard isn't good for keeping the swimmers alive so I'm trying to alkaline my body more. She also suggested 4 treatments but gives you a discount for more than one session. So I've booked for the next two weeks. Told DP that this baby is costing a fortune even before it's here

@Hardheadedwoman39 snap. Also trying for Baby #3. Also 39. Also about 11 years ago that I was Preggie. DD 10 - turning 11 in Jan and DS turned 13 yesterday

Aph413 · 15/09/2017 21:44

If only it did! According to my app I should be ovulating today but still haven't had my surge on my opks so I'm assuming I'm in my window around now
