I'm off the September Bus before it even leaves the station and thanks to my longer cycle I thought I'd start the October page.

Sorry for all the typos Hmm

Mummyloves09 · 28/09/2017 06:09

Good morning ladies,

Sorry to hear about all the Mc Sad

I gather my AF arrived last night, however she is extremely light and brown (sorry tmi).
I still have extremely heavy and swore boobs and lastly my lower Tummy is very tender.
So I guess I have to wait until 11th Oct for my fw.
Despite the natural disappoint I have to remember this is only TTC cycle 1.
However I have was another child for a long time however a medical procedure which took place July 2016 delayed Ttc.

Hello Ladies, Room for a little one?

Ttc #2
Age 24
Cycle #1 after mmc

Hello! So I'm back here again, ttc after mmc. This was my second mc in a row 👎 and i have a Lovely Little girl who is 20months soon.
My first mc was on cycle 3 ttc and happened at around 5 weeks. With the second one we conceived on cycle 5 and discovered at the 12week scan the babies heart had stopped at 9+5 (after 2 healthy scans at 6+3 and 8+5) Sad had a natural mc at 12+5 which was on the 8th Sep. I'm doing okay emotionally and have been tracking ov for last 2 days and positive opk this afternoon on cd 20 (usually ovulate on cd 12/13 of a 26 day cycle) so its abit late on but was totally expecting that anyway. I'll start counting 1dpo from Friday and will test on the 10th Oct.. My birthday 🤗.

Wishing you all lots of luck 🍀💖 xx

Merrz · 27/09/2017 20:04

@Nimbleknitter That's made me feel so much more positive. You're right no-one talks about it and It's not until you start ttc and speak to people you realise It's not as easy as you thought. I used to get stressed if I didn't take my pill at the same time every day, oh how naive I was!
Emz01 I can see a line [happy]

Emz01 · 27/09/2017 19:14

Thanks for your replies ladies I will test again in the morning with fmu and update you. Yes its on the right @UnicornsandRainbows1.

@HolyShmoly I’ve recently started exercising too, doing the couch to 5k and really enjoying it. I’ve been told it’s safe to continue to exercise especially if you were doing it before you got pregnant, only as long as you aren’t going over board. Always best to check though!

Owlpatrol · 27/09/2017 18:56

You're right I'm on cycle 11 but in that time have got myself a promotion at work which put trying off for a month or so but trying not to plan if this if that type of thing

Owlpatrol · 27/09/2017 18:53

Your wisdom is lovely and just what i needed to hear. My dp has two children from previous who I get on with really well so just trying to enjoy it...cycle 11

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 27/09/2017 18:50

Is it the bit of the right, Emz? I think I see something

HolyShmoly · 27/09/2017 18:50

I'm really trying not to put stuff off, as I figure you can tweak most plans to accommodate a bump. The only thing I've said is that if I'm not pregnant by January we're booking a holiday in the sun for the summer. So more of a treat at the six month point than anything. We haven't had a holiday in the sun since we got married almost 3 years ago!
I've started exercising a couple weeks ago and I haven't been holding back either, although I'll speak to the instructors once I do find out in preggo to check I'm ok with the classes I go to, etc.

Emz, I think I see a squinter, however I'm cross-eyed with exhaustion since my aforementioned class earlier, so I may not be the most reliable checker!

I see it Emz!

Emz01 · 27/09/2017 18:00

I might be just going nuts as I’m on cycle 7 after early mc but can anyone see anything? Only 10dpo and not fmu, and yes I have opened the test 🙈

Hi everyone, been awol for the last few days as we went to a fancy hotel for our wedding anniversary. Took the dog and having her in the room was a bit of a cock blocker but I'm still in the TWW so not such an issue.
It was so nice that I didn't log anything on my apps and I've forgotten how many dpo I am.

Af is due in 2 or 3 days though. Did a cheapy test at lunch which was bfn BUT was dilute urine so the optimist in me is saying I'm not out yet.
However I feel blue today (could be post holiday blues) and now sat waiting for Pilates to start with a slight tell tale crampy twinge. Fuck it!

Sorry to hear so many AFs showing. That bitch needs to piss off!
I understand the life on hold thing - especially the job thing. I'm in that exact boat. My job is making me so miserable but I'm stuck Angry

CherryVicky29 · 27/09/2017 17:35

Retested opk this evening and definitely a negative now just hoping the Bd we had yesterday when I got the positive on the others was enough 😔

NimbleKnitter · 27/09/2017 16:45

No idea what it means (negative test this morning so pretty sure I’m out for this cycle) but if it means PMS is less of a bitch, I’m game.

And yeah, whilst I heartily embrace your theory about wondering what the fuss is about, I’m going to make it my mission to educate women about TTC. Before starting I had no effing idea.

I genuinely thought you had like a week in which you could get pregnant. And that once you’d decided, you’d be grand. Total b*llocks. I wish people had talked about it more. There is absolutely nothing unusual in trying for 12 months.

It should be totally ok for someone to openly say they are trying. There’s this weird stigma about saying it’s taking a few months and that stigma shouldn’t exist. It taking months is NORMAL.

If anything, the cycle 1 women are the freaks! (In the nicest possible way, obvs x)

81Josie · 27/09/2017 16:30

Thanks @NimbleKnitter that's really great advice and it's amazing to think that in 12 months 98% of us will be wondering what the fuss was about. It's amazing how quickly (8 weeks to be precise!) I've gone from 'let's just see what happens' to 'OMG why isn't this happening???'

All good signs for you @NimbleKnitter. It's amazing how the process makes you so much more aware of your body

NimbleKnitter · 27/09/2017 16:21

Exactly! I’m trying to convince myself that testing each month makes it harder - better to just wait and see if/when period turns up.

But when that progesterone depression wave hits, I really need to know, so I know whether I can drink and eat my body weight in cheese.

Interestingly - I feel so much better today. No PMS (despite feeling like dog sh*t yesterday). Usually this only happens when period starts (and I’d be due a migraine by now)
