That looks positive too beansprout. How many dpo are you?

4thtime · 15/09/2017 08:53

I see something on that one, fingers crossed for u x

Impatientmummy36 · 15/09/2017 08:52

Cariad I couldn't get in with GP! Trying again this morn.

Same here... I've virtually eliminated caffeine, alcohol, take vitamins until I rattle, starting acupuncture .... not to mention the physical sacrifices in giving him our lovely little boy, and the next one (if it ever comes!)

Meanwhile he pulls his face and swallows his pregnacare conception for men tablet suspiciously, he tolerates my attempts to cut his caffeine intake down (tub of decaf coffee I gave him for work found rolling round in back of his car, full) but basically just carries on as normal. Luckily he's not a big drinker, though that's only lack of opportunity! He still sneaks off for a fag in the evening, though he has cut down from a 'proper smoker' to a few a day, sometimes as few as 1 a day at weekends, but it's pathetic really.

So there we have it, Alpha male, 44, 6"5 and previously convinced he only has to look at me to get me up the duff.... he's taking the failure of the bfns quite hard now each month so I know he's questioning whether it's him...but not willing to take changing his lifestyle seriously to help!

Feel for everyone waiting to test/af or getting bfn... its so so hard every month...One day though, the test will be positive xx

Beansprout30 · 15/09/2017 08:48

Looks positive fluffy

I got this earlier?!

ElephantAndBird · 15/09/2017 08:22

It looks positive to me. Fingers crossed.

Nubian9454 · 15/09/2017 07:36

Fluffy that looks positive. Maybe wait a few more days before testing. Good luck

Fluffykins1986 · 15/09/2017 07:27

Yes, that was at three minutes. It was Boots' own.
Did First Response this morning, completely negative. Only 10dpo now so probably just too early to know either way.
Thanks for responding.

4thtime · 15/09/2017 07:23

Did it come up in the time frame? If so it looks positive x

Fluffykins1986 · 15/09/2017 07:12

9dpo. This vanished after 10 mins, now blank. Nothing?

SydBound27 · 15/09/2017 06:04

Just catching up - @lopey that's exciting! when will you test? We're in sync again...

SydBound27 · 15/09/2017 06:03

I'm still hanging on in here. 10dpo today and will probably do an ic with first wee tomorrow. Very very unlikely but I'm obviously hopelessly hopeful! Zero symptoms but I've spotted them every month I've had a bfn so maybe that's not a bad thing! Argh

ladydolly · 14/09/2017 21:34

I'm 6po, af due on Tues. I have a load of cheapie tests so will see how I feel on sunday/monday. Acupuncture tomorrow, could do with the relaxation!

HappyHedgehog247 · 14/09/2017 21:25

Ooh thanks @ladydolly I'll keep enjoying my sliver of hope. Hope the sperm test goes well.

@dragons I used Angus castus in the past to help regulate cycle. I took it the whole time. Was not TTC though. Is it worth seeing if you can find a naturopath who might be able to advise? A friend swears by acupuncture for having helped with her fertility.

@cariad hope the clinic helps with DHs focus and is useful for you both.

Nubian9454 · 14/09/2017 21:21

Monray first 2 looks positive. Happy BD Smile

Beansprout still no af. I am starting to feel depressed. Started taking vitex today. Has anyone used it before?

Sorry Dragon.

Any more news ladies? Who is testing next?

ladydolly · 14/09/2017 21:11

hedgehog I've been pregnant 3 times and every time I was nauseas before my bfp so before 4 weeks. Anecdotal but there you go!
DP's sperm tests arrived today. Needs 3 days stored up so I've left it with him :)

DragonsandDungeons · 14/09/2017 21:06

Cariad I've bought some of that, I'm going to start taking it tomorrow for this cycle (I want to be sure this isn't an implantation bleed although I'm pretty sure it isn't). I hope it works. How long did she take it for, up to ovulation or afterwards too?

DragonsandDungeons · 14/09/2017 21:05

Bean 9 days this month. It was shorter last month.

It used to be around 14 days when I conceived DS

Cariad2017 · 14/09/2017 20:53

Good luck to those who are due to test soon, particularly Lopey and Beansprout - it's sounding promising ladies.

Dragons - I'm afraid I don't know your history, but have you considered using Agnus Castus to try and regulate your cycles? From memory, it helped extend Mynameis's LP by quite a good few days.

Impatient - how did your GP appointment go? Did they agree to do an AMH test? I think I'll ask the private clinic to do that for me next week as I'm keen to know where we stand on that front.

OH's can be a pain when it comes to tests, can't they? DH was genuinely shocked when his first SA came back pointing to issues, as we'd both assumed that I was the problem (and to be honest, the control freak within me would find it so much easier if it was me as at least then I could try and tackle the issues...)

It's really tricky. I've spent most of the year making a concerted effort to drink very little caffeine and alcohol and taking so many vitamins I rattle but getting DH to change his lifestyle is a real uphill battle so I'm hoping our trip to the clinic might help in that regard.

HappyHedgehog247 · 14/09/2017 20:42

Thank you for the well wishes @beansprout @impatient and @elephant. The funeral was so hard but so lovely. All the family followed the coffin in and my dad did a lovely eulogy.

I got another negative FRER this morning and given AF now only due 3 days away assuming it's v v unlikely I'm pregnant as it says their accuracy is over >99% 3 days prior. Also did lots of reading like a madwoman last night that says the nausea doesn't normally kick in under 4 weeks so guessing maybe it's my reaction to grief (first time I've lost someone this close to me). Still watery mouth phase this morning though. Can't seem to make myself give up last sliver of hope til AF dashes it.

Welcome to the newbies. And fingers crossed for @lopez

Xx

Beansprout30 · 14/09/2017 19:58

Dragons how long is your luteal phase? Mine has always been 9/10 days and we conceived dd with that. My acupuncturist said lp should not matter.

Lopey we are at a similar place I think I'm 11dpo, bought a test on way home from work so might use in the morning if af doesn't come over night

Mondray, I think the second one looks near enough positive

Freezing, it's so hard to hear how easy it is for some people to get pregnant. Felt like I was constantly baby bombed first time round. We started ttc a few months before my best friend, she ended up pregnant and having the baby before we got our bfp

Freezingwinter · 14/09/2017 19:25

A girl I know announced she's pregnant today. She got pg first cycle trying, and she did with her last baby too. Makes me feel very envious although I am pleased for her too.
Cycle 2 of ttc2 for me, cd8 so not ovulated yet. Have got conceive plus this month as we need to use something and I read Vaseline etc isn't good for conception.

ElephantAndBird · 14/09/2017 19:17

I think the second one down looks the most positive. I'm not using opks at the moment, but I seem to remember from last time that the darker the line, the closer to ovulation you are.

mondray · 14/09/2017 18:40

These opks are from today and yesterday. First time for me so I am not really sure when which one would mean positive. I'm pretty sure it's one of the two at the top.

What do you think?

LopeyLopez · 14/09/2017 17:21

Just caught up on lots of reading on here and nice to red some of the stories....sorry that others at having a hard time, but I do feel supported that others take a while to conceive too!

I'm somewhere between 9-11 dpo (unsure due to messed up o day on ff due to crap temps!) and feeling nauseous with no spotting as yet.

Dare I get excited???!!!!

OP posts:
DragonsandDungeons · 14/09/2017 15:56

Haven't posted for ages. Tracked cycle meticulously and have now had AF after 20 days. Last month it was 17. OPK picked up positive on day 8 and ultrasound confirmed on CD10. Luteal phase is under 10 days and I feel upset Sad
