Maybe I did ovulate late Kashy. Just don't know anymore!! I feel so frustrated.

Hope all goes well at doctors x

KashyKash · 30/08/2017 19:55

Congrats on the bfp Alexsmum!

Sorry you're in limbo Nubian, could you have ovulated later than you thought?
I feel in limbo too. Thought I'd ovulated on my usual day 17 and my temp rose as usual the next day only to fall back to pre-ov temps for the next two days. No wonder I didn't get a peak reading on opks :( This has never happened to me before. The most annoying thing is I'm away on my own Saturday-Wednesday so if I ovulate then it'll go to waste. I'm getting so fed up of this now. I've got my doctors appointment in the morning so maybe I'll feel better after that.

LadyPug · 30/08/2017 19:53

Ahhh well done!!!! What a great start to the thread! We have a winner! :-) congrats!

Nubian9454 · 30/08/2017 19:43

Congrats AlexsMum. Really pleased for you. Baby dust to all still waiting.

Ladies really not sure what to make of my late period. 5 days late and bfn. It's so frustrating as I am in Limbo!

Boomerang456 · 30/08/2017 19:38

I feel crampy! But I'm only 2 dpi! I'm my head, right?

Karpuzkiz · 30/08/2017 16:51

9dpo today I have one test left don't know whether to just do it tomorrow or wait until Friday. I will have to buy more but didn't want to do that until Monday really to stop me testing on the weekend and in case AF arrives.

I'm feeling really crampy though Confused how are you feeling mother? We're about the same xx

ladydolly · 30/08/2017 13:54

Hi all, jumping on from August (and july) bus. Ttc #2, dd is nearly 3. This is our 5th month trying. I'm on cd 8 so started clearblue test today. Also using ic opks because using clearblue last month wasn't entirely reliable. Can't temp as I'm on hols and dd is sharing the bed with me so I'm barely getting 1 hours straight sleep let alone 4!! We get home sat which will be cd11 and time to dtd!!

Fingers crossed!!

LadyPug · 30/08/2017 08:35

Thanks mynameisjune I will look these up!

MynameisJune · 30/08/2017 08:26

LadyPug there are FRER ones from Boots, that are just called first response in a bright pink pack. They aren't cheap but can be used as soon as 6 days before Af is due.

You can get internet cheapies (IC) that claim to be the same but I'm not sure how good they are. Probably good if you're a serial tester.

LadyPug · 30/08/2017 08:07

How soon can you take the first response tests? Can you buy them from boots etc?

AlexsMum89 · 30/08/2017 07:51

Stay strong @motherofboy ! I've currently got zero but have two frers arriving from Amazon today. Only two days until Friday, I can do it!!!

MotherofBoy · 30/08/2017 06:21

I'm hoping to hold out and not test alex! Too many bfns can't cope with another. I have a grand total of two tests in the house. A Waitrose cheapie I didn't know I had til clearing out bathroom ready to move house and one FRER. Going to hold out if I can. 8dpo today...

LadyPug · 29/08/2017 22:25

I'm also a mum and I don't know any of it!!!

DragonsandDungeons · 29/08/2017 22:23

Yep I think people would expect me to know a lot of this with already being a mum but I don't!

Dolly it sends me mad too. DP frequently tells me this 😂

LadyPug · 29/08/2017 22:21

Hey Dottie! Welcome :-) (its not my thread, I just got here) goodness you've been through a lot, I hope you get a bfp really soon xx

LadyPug · 29/08/2017 22:19

Ah thank you dragon and hey there! The first time we just waited and didn't really care as knew it could take a while but it only took 4 months. I guess we are in the same boat second time round!

Dottydolly2017 · 29/08/2017 22:18

Hi can I join this thread. First time posting since 2013 when I was trying for my first.
Had a mmc followed by an ectopic and lost my right tube. Desperately wanting number 2 and 9th month in starting to feel that old 'crazy' me kicking in again. I swearing trying for a baby turns me bonkers with the symptom spotting and the disappointment of another BFN. I should have taken out shares in cleablue years ago!

DragonsandDungeons · 29/08/2017 22:17

First response early response, a sensitive pregnancy test

LadyPug · 29/08/2017 22:17

Thank you Nubian, I'm learning the lingo quickly! Nice to be here and to meet everyone!

DragonsandDungeons · 29/08/2017 22:17

Hi LadyPug. I'm a newbie as well. My first two pregnancies were unplanned so ttc is new to me too.

LadyPug · 29/08/2017 22:17

Just caught up on all of the messages on the thread so I'm 34, 1 dpo, 22 month DD, cycle one. By the way, what is a FRER?
