Hey Nubian hang on in there, no af is a good sign!

cautiousoptimist1 · 10/09/2017 12:13

Sorry you're still in limbo nubian. Hopefully emotional is a good sign.

Nubian9454 · 10/09/2017 12:10

Not haunted but halted...stupid autocorrect

Nubian9454 · 10/09/2017 12:08

Ladies I feel so utterly tearful and emotional today. So close to tears and feel like anything can potentially set me off. I am cd40 today and still have af like cramps but no af. Ferl like my ttc journey has been ubruptly haunted and there is nothing I can do about it.😢😢😭😭

LadyPug · 10/09/2017 10:09

Hey impatient you and me both! Af also due Tuesday, also received bfn yesterday and have decided not to text unless af doesn't show up. Good to read the other comments about when implantation occurs as gives me some hope.

All sounds good pjs it's a good sign the back pain hopefully and they say you're likely to conceive straight after coming off the pill so fingers crossed!

HappyHedgehog247 · 10/09/2017 08:49

Great news @pocket and @PJs the first month off the pill can be exceptionally fertile so I have my fingers crossed for you! That's how I got pregnant last time and it's definitely when I felt most hormonal this time (I've come off a few months before trying this time as has some other meds I needed to wait to be out of my system).

I did a test today and it was a bfn but looking online it's just way too early as implantation may not happen for a couple of days and af due next Sun. Have bought an early response test so doubt I will be able to wait until Sun but going to try and hold out til tues at earliest!

PJsAndProsecco · 10/09/2017 08:29

@Impatient just think, if you don't get implantation until 12 days after there's every reason why you'd get a bfn. Don't count yourself out until af shows!

I'm cd31 and predicting af tomorrow but may wait until Wednesday to test if no af. I'm cautious as it's my first month off the pill. Yesterday at 12dpo I had a sharp, short lived back pain on the right hand side that stopped me in my tracks. Thought it could be that I'd hit a nerve or something as I was walking but I'm curious to know if implantation can feel like that!

Impatientmummy36 · 10/09/2017 07:40

Cautious it might well be your month then...

So I'm not testing this morning on basis there's no point. Af due tues, but after the bfn yesterday I'm not hopeful.

I've taken everyone's advice and not going to test now unless af doesn't come on tues. It's like waiting for the guillotine.

Pocket that's great, looks like you have a busy week ahead!
x

pocketfullofsunshine · 09/09/2017 22:47

Never thought id be looking forward to a 2ww haha!
Gota get the ovulation first!

cautiousoptimist1 · 09/09/2017 22:42

Still no AF here but haven't tested yet. Flo app predicts AF will be here tomorrow but I really thought I'd settled down back to 28 day cycles again (since my periods returned my cycles have been, 39, 29, 30, 29 and last month 28 days) and today is CD29. I think I'll test tomorrow if AF doesn't show up overnight although I'm a bit anxious about it, I find a BFN far worse than AF.

LadyPug · 09/09/2017 20:16

Eeeek yay pocket hoorah!

pocketfullofsunshine · 09/09/2017 19:26

Im so excited i just have to share it.
So for the last 9 months ive not ovulated properly at all.
Now on cd10 it looks like im finally gearing up to ovulate!! Eek!!

LadyPug · 09/09/2017 18:51

impatient oh those sound much more hopeful symptoms than me! My boobs feel just fine unfortunately! Good luck! Are you testing again soon? I'm going to try to wait for af to show up!

Impatientmummy36 · 09/09/2017 17:15

I do yes, funny taste, bit nauseous and tired, and sore/tingling/burning sensation in boobs which I also had last cycle, when I did conceive... But maybe I want it so much I'm having psychosomatic symptoms?!

Hope everyone else ok today & having a good weekend x

LadyPug · 09/09/2017 13:37

impatient I thought I did, felt dizzy and had tummy pains that felt like a bad stitch but all potential symptoms have disappeared. :-( how about you?

Impatientmummy36 · 09/09/2017 11:31

Thanks June & sorry you've had such a shit week, I've been through redundancy and it's a really stressful thing to happen. Hope you have a nice relaxing weekend planned to look after yourself x

Ladypug yes step away from the test! OH got cross with me yesterday, I'd texted him and said 'I'm not pregnant' so he assumed I meant Af had come. When he found out it was just I'd tested early he was annoyed. I suppose I never think of it in terms of him being upset as well... need to get myself in check as it was selfish in hindsight!

It could just be too soon for both of us as everyone says... Have you any symptoms ? XX

cautiousoptimist1 · 09/09/2017 09:38

So sorry to hear that June, such a stressful time. The waiting and not knowing is always the worst part.

HappyHedgehog247 · 09/09/2017 09:03

I can't wait any more so I'm off to buy a FRER test today but think I need to wait until at least Tues (af not due for 8 days, next Sun) as have a 30 day cycle. I'm one week down of my TWW but the wait is hard!

LadyPug · 09/09/2017 08:49

Hey impatient I'm also 3 days till af and had a bfn today so we are in the same boat! I'm not going to test now until af is due or the day after (she says! Strapping her arms down to prevent testing!) 😂

MynameisJune · 09/09/2017 07:51

Sorry for a bfn again impatient every pregnancy is different though and if you're 11dpo and the egg implanted late say 10dpo there still won't be much hcg swimming around yet.

MynameisJune · 09/09/2017 07:49

impatient try to not test again until nearer/after af as you'll get a more accurate answer. This early it's likely no test could pick up the hcg depending on implantation.

nubian I'm so sorry you're still in limbo, I know what it's like and it's worse than a bfn because you can't focus on moving on until you know what's happening.

I've had a shit week, not only did AF arrive but my whole company was put on redundancy notice on the same day. So now in work limbo not knowing who will still have a job come November.

Impatientmummy36 · 09/09/2017 07:41

Same here dotty. I suppose as long as they're not witnessing extremes it's fine for them to see some emotion... and it's lovely they can be empathetic.

Cautious I think whichever way you do it (a small age gap or bigger) there'll be challenges. Overall though, be glad you've started ttc sooner than later!! I blithely left it til he was 2 and 8 months (in Jan) before starting... and I'm still here now and feeling under immense pressure because of it!

BFN again this morn. 3 days before af due (circa tues on Ovia). But I think the writings on the wall. A CBD picked up the pregnancy at same point in last cycle so I don't think it's too early to test :(

Morning all ! x

cautiousoptimist1 · 08/09/2017 21:13

impatient yes she's 15 months! I'm not sure what I'm letting myself in for by aiming for 2 under 2 (just!).

I do feel guilty about TTC, not for the anxiety but for the time that my LO would lose out on and maybe not having the same time with a second one. And I have no idea how any midwife appointments etc would work (I'm a SAHM).

Dottydolly2017 · 08/09/2017 19:52

I know that when AF arrives I'm emotional and maybe don't have as much patience. My little boy is 3 as well and will say "you ok mummy" if you ever look down

Impatientmummy36 · 08/09/2017 19:25

thanks ladies xx

Cautious poor little thing, yours is still only little? So many things at that age... teeth....tummies...

Mine is 3 and he's so good, but lately there are times he gets silly and pushes or grabs other children, or pulls my hair, grabs me when he's tired. To be honest it's only when we go to a soft play and he gets a bit crazy so I just avoid going there. He's so loving and gentle with other kids but today he really lashed out. Today was unavoidable to meet some people so I had to risk going. Wish I hadn't!

Question is though - does anyone else worry the anxiety of ttc is affecting your LO?! He must sense it, and I know I'm sometimes not as patient as I normally am when I'm worried about it... sorry, not wanting to add guilt to anyone's load here! Just wondering! X
