Yum was in need of a new thread, and I thought the title was apt because it's not just TCOYF charts anymore... hope it's ok?? I don't want anyone to think I am taking over

Just needing something, anything, to take my mind OFF my impending doom

It is a vicious circle, I know. A hard one to break though.

MrsMc - Strange that even with higher temps, the software is not recognising Ov.

Did you have all the other symptoms of Ov?

Sorry about AF Ready.

Does Zita West write antenatal stuff too? I remember seeing her name associated with lotions and potions for pregnancy, that was years ago.

I weighed myself last night because I keep feeling bloated. Suddenly thought - what if I'm not bloated what if I'm just putting on weight? Sure enough I have gained a stone in the last couple of weeks.
I told DH I was going to give up chocolate. He said 'you mean as soon as you've finished that cream egg?'.
I have no will power at all.

What's happened to LondonLottie, haven't heard from her for ages on here?

MrsMcEasterBunny · 04/04/2007 12:40

Thanks 3Cats lots of action but not much relevant if 28th was the day. Hope we are right as we?ve virtually given up this week. So tired! Last night I fell asleep during Life on Mars but then again, I had had ½ bottle red wine, I KNOW very naughty, shouldn?t drink at all at this point and wish I?d had the self control to not drink after having those 6 weeks off but I?m rubbish I read back on my ?symptoms? when I did get my BFP, here were my main ones so I?m looking for them again:

? Wind
? Smelly pee
? Burning up face, especially in the evenings
? Bloated
? One night I was v sick after wine, had a horrid sweet taste in my mouth

The Zita West book I have is this one its quite good, lots on alternative therapies and the science of it all, a lot of it we know from being on here, doubt there would be much new stuff but worth a read I think. Especially the what to eat bits.

Ironic isn?t it that a moving target causes the most stress but the stress makes it move?! Vicious circle really!

Christmas baby! how lovely! I think if I get mine it?ll be around 6/12 but I?m not really sure, have to say, I?m trying not to look at EDDs, though oh yes, I usually do, it reminds me too much at the mo that if I don?t get one soon I?ll have to make a choice between continuing to TTC and going to my Dad?s 6oth in the Caribbean! I want to do both of course!

Hi Seaside fingers crossed!

Hi Ready ? hope you see the link above for the book. Best bought on Amazon I imagine how are you doing today? Feeling any better?

My temp was 36.5 again today. Haven?t had a chance to upload to software which is maybe just as well, it?ll only raise my CL to 36.4 I imagine! Gggggggggggggr! I confess that at the weekend I typed in high temps for the whole week to see what it would do and it just raised the CL higher and higher and never recognised OV!

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 04/04/2007 11:48

Seaside and 3Cats Oh, don't worry, you are not the only ones!! I checked my EDD last cycle, I would have been due on the 10th of December!! I usually look at the EDD in the 2ww - probably jinx myself every time! Tut.

3Cats - The Zita West book is a guide to conception... but there are a couple of different titles, and I wanted to get the best one! MrsMc always has the best stuff

OP posts:
3catstoo · 04/04/2007 10:20

We are very close in dates then, Seaside.
Fingers crossed we both get success.

seaside72 · 03/04/2007 19:52

no I check it too 3cats!! my EDD would be 26 dec mind you this is cycle 13 and I have been through quite a few IDD (imaginary due dates!!)

3catstoo · 03/04/2007 19:11

I totally agree about your c/l MrsMc. Looks like you Ov'd to me. Fingers crossed. You got lots of action too. You and your DH must be sooooo fit

What is the Zita West book about then?

The OPKs stress me out too. Although it is the moving target that's causing the most stress.

I checked the pg status tab on Ovusoft, it has given me a due date of 25 Dec (IF this is my lucky cycle).

Does anyone else check that each cycle? Or am I just too obsessed?

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 03/04/2007 16:39

I would love that!!!

OP posts:
MrsMcEasterBunny · 03/04/2007 16:31

Thanks hon I really hope we get our BFPs together, it would be so nice to chat about AN things!

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 03/04/2007 16:24

Do you know, I honestly can't remember the last time I had one, it wasn't like I made a conscious decision to stop one day. I just realised I hadn't drunk for a while, hadn't missed it and thought, might as well not bother... But I think I am going to have a go at some Vin Blanc next time we are out for a meal... see what happens Hic.

I totally understand why you are frustrated, but try to relax and believe that you have ovulated, and see what happens now!! Oh, it would be so wonderful if you conceived this month. I've got everything crossed for you!

OP posts:
MrsMcEasterBunny · 03/04/2007 16:15

BH Ready how long is it since you had one? I know you don?t drink much anyway but I am back to full alchy status well, not quite so bad but I did have a fair bit of wine at the weekend, my taste buds like it again! Hope you are right about me and OV, I?m just impatient to get into known territory!

I think you?ll be fine with the OPKs this time, you know so much more about your body and charting and you?ll be using them as a back up of what you already know so I say go for it! Sounds like a good plan for this cycle!

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 03/04/2007 15:37

MrsMc - I don't think there can be any other reason for temp shifts to occur. So I think you have ovulated!!YAY! Trust me, not the software
Doing differently??... well believe it or not - I can hardly believe it myself, but I have been thinking about having a drink! I will only need one - not drinking coupled with being a total lightweight will make for a cheap date ... I stopped drinking long before ttc, but my Mum keeps telling me I need to relax and have a drink, and I really am game for anything at the moment
Also, going to try the OPKs again this month. Not sure if I am asking for trouble considering last time I used them, but I am prepared for them to stress me out now Got some pre-seed. And the crucial thing is to try and have plenty of sex!! Which we didn't do last month! Going for every other day, then 3 on the bounce as soon as I get/if I get a positive OPK. So fingers well and truly crossed!!

MrsMcEasterBunny · 03/04/2007 15:25

Thanks Ready right thing to say, stupid software, what does it know? I?ll check the name of the Zeta West book for you and let you know. Any plans to do anything differently this cycle? Taking up or cutting anything out? Sorry you are low, totally understandable. Temp was 36.5 today by the way. I haven?t found any reason anywhere for temps rising over CL other than OV.

Yum03 ? it is looking damn fine!

It certainly is time we chart spotters got some more BFPs!

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 03/04/2007 15:03

City - How did the interview go? When will you know? Fingers crossed!! Thank you for the big hug - just what I needed I am much more disappointed today than I was yesterday... it's almost as if it has just hit me - 8th cycle!! Big hug to you.

MrsMc - I definitely think your coverline should be lower!! Wonder why the software isn't accepting it? And why has it put one temp as rule of thumb?? Confusing!! I really think it looks like you have ovulated. So fingers crossed now? Looks like you were a little late with the ovulation test!
What is the name of the Zita West book you have? Because I was thinking of getting something to browse (!)

3Cats - It really does sound as if you have got a lot going on and I am sure it affects OV. I know what you mean about a moving target, I have ovulated on 14,15,16 and 19! Very frustrating. Hang in there

Yum - Your chart looks good. What is your LP normally?? I can't believe I am advocating testing... but it's sounding so promising for you, with the nausea and boobs

Seaside - Glad to see the panic of annovulation is over!! And I love your plan of telling a white lie to DH about when the crucial time is! It will be interesting to see if he has issues at the time when he thinks it is crucial!! Big hugs

OP posts:
MrsMcEasterBunny · 02/04/2007 16:33

3cats ? good! It?ll probably move OV back in the next couple of days if you got +ive today, hope so. I wouldn?t be surprised if stress was making your OV late, you have so much on your plate at the mo but it is a vicious circle impossible to get out of isn?t it.

I know what you mean about the sex, the last couple of times this cycle have been fun but if I?m honest, they wouldn?t have happened if we weren?t TTC. We?re knackered and have effectively slowed down the pace over the last few days.

My temp was 36.4 this morning. I hope I did OVd on 28/3 and I do have 5 higher temps since then. I think the coverline is way too high for me. These are like post ov type temps for me but I guess I?ll just have to wait and see.

3catstoo · 02/04/2007 16:25

I meant that for Ready, I posted before thinking about my post.

Good luck for the interview Citydevil.

3catstoo · 02/04/2007 16:24

It worked, thank you MrsMc.

Now Ov has moved to tomorrow, based on todays +ve opk. I'm sure it has already happened though.
DH will not be up for anything during this week, until Friday anyway. He is so busy at work and comes home exhausted. Hence the hearts only appear on my chart at the weekend .

I'll have to try really hard to persuade him.

This will be my latest Ov since charting. It's gone from CD15 to CD 19 over the past few months. It makes it harder to succeed when there is a moving target.

I have hit the point where I really only think of sex as a means to making a baby. Of course I enjoy it too but even during I think of the result. Is that bad?

Sorry to see your temp drop again.

3catstoo · 02/04/2007 16:11

I posted on the old thread this morning, wasn't sure if this was replacing the other one or just running along side it.
I won't re type my ramble again and bore you.

I will try the mass delete, thanks MrsMc, I knew you would know!

MrsMcEasterBunny · 02/04/2007 14:59

Yum03 - thanks how are you feeling about things?

MrsMcEasterBunny · 02/04/2007 14:58

Good luck City

Ready - sorry hon, but as you say, you are the closest to textbook than any of us!

citydevilbunny · 02/04/2007 14:14

Oh Ready big hugs. I know how it feels. Just aboout over my hangover now

D2D cycle buddy how are you? what have you been up to?

Off for a job interviw this afternoon and am dead nervous! Wish me luck

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 02/04/2007 13:42

yum - So weird, I was just posting to you on the temp thread!! Just checked and cheered
I wasn't really feeling hopeful, as such, just disconcerted by the delay. I usually start a bleed in the morning, but the cramps were getting so strong I just knew it couldn't be too long. But hey ho, now I know... the dream is over for this month!!

OP posts:
yum03creameggs · 02/04/2007 13:35

Just looked at your chart ready - is it really cd1 now confirmed?

yum03creameggs · 02/04/2007 13:33

MrsMc - I thought that you can only tell if you have an annovulatory cycle by blood tests, I read somewhere (sorry I don't know where) that you can get a temp-rise with an annovulatory cycle, but I don;t understand how! Sorry I might try some googling to see if I can find more info.

Ready - you still sound hopeful - are you?

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 02/04/2007 13:17

What about "ebb & flo"??

MrsMc - I have had a 13 day LP, once before (to my knowledge that it, since charting), so it wouldn't be inconceivable for CD1 to start today. But out of all my charts, the norm has been 12 days, even with changing cycle length. So if nothing happens today, and CD1 is tomorrow, it will be a 14 day LP and a 28 day cycle - talk about text book
It is weird, because I do get cramps in the lead up, but I can't remember a time when they were this strong, but not coupled with bleeding. It's really disconcerting, actually. And I am in and out of the look every five minutes checking.

Sorry... I seem to have waffled on about myself again... after I promised I was back. Sorry ladies. I really am being a pain in the bum at the minute aren't I!

OP posts:
MrsMcEasterBunny · 02/04/2007 12:40

Well found, very interesting. What shall we call ?estrogen breakthrough bleeding? ?! No progesterone at all maybe my tingling boobs were a sign I am not anov then because I know it?s the progesterone that causes that. I wonder too about the temps.

Anyone help us?
