Yum was in need of a new thread, and I thought the title was apt because it's not just TCOYF charts anymore... hope it's ok?? I don't want anyone to think I am taking over

Just needing something, anything, to take my mind OFF my impending doom

OP posts:

Haven't had a proper chart spot but glad you are geting busy Ready! You are trying that sperm meets eggs plan - I would like to give that a go - will have to plan it for May cycle! Hope the OPK's co-operate - I have found success with them by doing them between 2 and 6pm and then if I get a faintish line I do 2 a day - I got my best + ever last month at midnight - so just shows it would have been easy to miss - as by the next afternoon it was back to being faint again

Sorry to hear of heavy AF MrsMc - Chinese medicine says it is good to have a heavy AF -at least 4 days of heavy red flow (tmi?) ??

Thanks for the compliments on my chart ! - but TBH my chart alwas looks pretty OK at this stage- temps stay up until dpo12 then it all goes pants, quickly But as I keep saying - it just shows that you can have a nice clear cycle and a few well-timed BD's but it still does not guarantee you a BFP

Any news 3cats? - I think you are away until the weekend but hope you are OK and the appointment got you some answers

Ready · 13/04/2007 11:28

Meant to say yesterday MrsMc - Sorry to hear that AF is so heavy, but like you say, it was a longer cycle, so to be expected. Hang in there!!

Ready · 13/04/2007 11:24

MrsMc - I think I updated my chart after you'd had a nosy - we've started getting busy - trying every other day with 3 on the trot if I get a positive OPK this month!! I did the OPK at 5.45 yesterday afternoon, so I will go with that for now. Is it possible to miss the hormone??

Seaside - Your chart looks great - I can see why you are tempted to test I am excited for you, petal!! Fingers crossed

Hello everyone else... Fingers crossed Right, off to carry on nosing at the charts, just looked at Seaside's so far

MrsMcJnr · 13/04/2007 10:08

Hello, just been for a chart spot

Nice looking charts Sunshinedays, Rahrah & Seaside ? fingers crossed!

Getting set to get busy City, Cedar & Ready?

3cats ? how are you hon? How was the appointment and what?s happening with your chart? Hope you are ok.

Were nearly cycle buddies Rattling

Minxi ? just how long is your holiday?! yes, we miss you!!

Over that line again today Iwillbe? Some well timed sessions in there if you are!

Ready ? good luck with the OPKs, don?t let them stress you out. I used to use them at 10am and sometimes at 6.30pm.

Ready · 12/04/2007 11:11

MrsMc - I am glad you agree with me I am always right, me .
I completely agree with you, temping is a really useful tool. It certainly gives me something to focus on. If I didn't temp I think I would go mad each month with worry that I wasn't doing it at the right time!
I am starting the OPKs again this month, just to see if I can get a +. What time of day do you usually test?

MrsMcJnr · 12/04/2007 10:49

Thanks Ready feeling much better today with lots more energy, must have slept better. Sorry if TMI but this AF is really heavy, almost as heavy as my MC but thankfully without the pain and sadness, I guess, it was 40 days worth as opposed to the usual 28! Just think, if I wasn?t temping and didn?t know for sure that I wasn?t pg, I could have got myself all excited and then heartbroken again that I may have MC. Temping is definitely good information as far as I am concerned. I think that AF is making me feel yucky too. I agree, I probably have been doing too much.

Ready · 11/04/2007 13:46

MrsMc ? Oh flower, big huge cuddle!! We all have days where we hate our appearance, so I totally understand where you are coming from! And no matter how many times our DHs tell us we look lovely, we never believe them do we!? Tut.
I think it is very hard having people to stay, of course it?s always nice to see them, but I find that I can never totally relax, and certainly don?t sleep well when we have guests. That will definitely have an effect on your energy levels ? plus you were frantically getting things sorted before they arrived, and probably haven?t had any time to relax and unwind since. I think of all the times to need some relaxation during AF, this would be the one, considering it is the first one since your miscarriage. Your body has been through so much, honey, and you need to make sure that you let it recover. Not only physically but mentally too ? I think people often underestimate how much mental exhaustion can affect a person physically.
Please don?t think of it as blubber ? think of it as spare inches, much less negative! You know me, sugar the pill Don?t put too much pressure on yourself to lose lots of weight really quickly, and certainly don?t overdo the exercising. You need to take things slowly, but surely. That way is far more effective, long term!

MrsMcJnr · 11/04/2007 10:19

Thanks Ready. I?m ok but feeling a bit low it?s no really the fact that we didn?t manage it this month but more about how I?m feeling. I?m totally exhausted and washed out and miserable about my weight and how I look. My skin looks horrible too. DH was very sweet this morning and said I was beautiful but I don?t feel it. A lot of how I feel is down to lack of exercise and over indulgence on the food front . I guess it is tiring having people to stay too. We were in a seaside town for lunch on Monday and the weather was gorgeous and I wanted to have a long walk along the beach but my grandparents aren?t very mobile so we couldn?t do that and spent hours in the car instead. Don?t get me wrong, it is lovely to have them here and I love them to bits but it is hard work and I?m too tired to concentrate on what I am meant to be doing in the office I?m glad we have the weight loss thread as I really am hoping it will help me shift some blubber, I?ve never weighed to much in my life and I?ve put on 7 pounds this year. I remember someone else saying they put on 7 pounds for every MC insult to injury!! As you know, I?m normally a positive person and I can?t really understand my attitude at the moment, hopefully it will improve and from Sunday when the olds leave, I?ll really make an effort to do lots of exercise Thanks for listening!

How are you doing anyway? Feeling ok? Positive still?

Ready · 10/04/2007 22:04

3cats... hope your appointment went ok, sorry to hear about your pain - are you feeling better? I hope that you had a lovely time away and rechanged the batteries!

MrsMc... I know that opinion is divided on when CD1 should be taken from. I never have spotting before AF, but if I did I wouldn't count it as CD1 - full flow makes more sense to me. How are you feeling? Positive about this next cycle?

Right... off to nosy at the charts.

MrsMcJnr · 10/04/2007 16:11

Hey 3cats ? that spotting is really early this cycle isn?t it?could it be implantation? Just could it?

Nice looking chart Seaside

MrsMcJnr · 10/04/2007 14:08

Thanks 3cats, AF is now here so I can draw a line under that weird cycle and hopefully start a fresh one that is a bit more normal! We?ll see! I hope the appointment goes well, let us know how you get on Sorry that you are still in pain, must be horrible.

Off to chart spot?..

3catstoo · 10/04/2007 08:19

MrsMc - that's the kind of spotting I get before AF each cycle. It is meant to be from the previous cycle rather than the new one so you are right to not count it as cd1.

Well I have my appt with the fertility clinic this morning. A bit nervous and also anxious to find out what't going on. I've been up all night with this pain.

We're off to stay with relatives for 4 days as soon as I get back from the hospital.

Hope you all have a good week.

MrsMcEasterBunny · 09/04/2007 20:00

Poor you 3Cats, sounds awful I really hope you get your BFP soon hon, I really do.

Hey Ready

Only got a chance to say a quick hello and post my chart! What on earth is happening? I really think this is an annovulatory cycle now. Still spotting (brown sludge - sorry if TMI) so not counting that as cd1, is that right?!

Catch up tomorrow at work!

3catstoo · 09/04/2007 08:28

Morning All,

Sorry about AF Yum . Hope the break helps you.

I agree Ready and Mrs.

On Friday and yesterday I felt so nausious. Then yesterday and this morning I had severe stomach pains. I tend to get pains the week before AF (part of the gyny troubles I was having in the run upto laparoscopy last July). This time it was unbearable. My only option for stopping the pain was to have a hysterectomy, which is out of the question if there's a chance I could have another baby.
I might discuss it again tomorrow with the fertility consultant.

AF is due on Sunday so still a bit of a wait.

We are going away for the week tomorrow so I will catch up with you guys when I get back. Hope you all have a good week.

Take care

3cats.
xxxxx

MrsMcEasterBunny · 08/04/2007 18:55

I know Ready, all the BFPs seem to be newbies and much as I am delighted for them, I would be so ecstatic to see someone from here or one of our temp buddies with some good news.

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 08/04/2007 14:18

MN, or at least the threads I am on, seems to have gone really sombre I hope that everyone is ok. My fingers and toes are crossed for BFPs really soon for ALL of us!!

MrsMcEasterBunny · 08/04/2007 13:22

Sorry for not having a chance to catch up. Yum03 - I'm sorry hon I hope the break helps.

How are the rest of you?

I'm on cd39 and have a low temp 36.2 and spotting so I think this weird cycle may be drawing to a close.

yum03creameggs · 07/04/2007 19:20

cd1 today. Not temping this month so chart will not change. best wishes to you all.

yum03creameggs · 06/04/2007 17:26

Still no sign of af. I think I am calmer about the whole thing not temping, I just wish that I had done another couple of days to confirm (or not!) ov date. But I am still only on cd 26 so early days yet.

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 06/04/2007 11:45

Fingers crossed for you Yum
In hindsight do you wish you had carried on temping? Or do you think it has allowed you to be calmer about the prospects??

OP posts:
yum03creameggs · 05/04/2007 22:07

Whoops clicked on the wrong thing!!
My cycle lengths for the last 30 months:
22 days ?1
23 days ?0
24 days ?1
25 days ?5
26 days ?5
27 days ?4
28 days ?3
29 days ?3
30 days ?3
31 days ?1
32 days ?2
33 days ?0
34 days ?1
35 days -1

30 months ? mean average is 27 days, median is 28 days, most frequently 25 or 26 days.

I usually look for 3 days of ewcm and af arrives 13 days afterwards. This month I had ewcm on cd 7 and 8 and my temp started to go up 3days later. But also had a few hours of ewcm on cd 15, so it is possible that I ov?d later, it does not tie in with cm clues or my usual temp pattern properly, but it is possible, in which case af should be here by Sunday at the latest. It is all a waiting game.

yum03creameggs · 05/04/2007 21:54

3cats - thanks, af has not bothered to arrive yet, so my messing around with ff software was clearly incorrect!

My cycles for the last two years:

22 days -1
23 days -0
24 days -

3catstoo · 05/04/2007 10:34

Sounds like you've been busy Yum!
Fingers crossed that af doen't arrive today.

yum03creameggs · 04/04/2007 21:47

OK I have just been playing with the ff software, overridden my ov days and coverlines, and matched up all my cycles, so that my ov day is the day before my temp reaches 36.8, it matches up all my cycles perfectly with 11daylp and all following the same pattern... which in all means that af is due tomorrow.... so I will not test in the morning, just assume that af will arrive during the day sometime and try to relax about it all.... is that possible?>>>

MrsMcEasterBunny · 04/04/2007 16:40

Re signs of OV ? my CM has been a bit erratic but I did have some EWCM around then I guess, the main thing was my boobs, they started to hurt around then and I know progesterone does that. I am feeling more in terms of awareness of my system over the last few days, very thirsty and bloated with tender boobs and funky smelling pee again. I am well aware that I am probably hallucinating or if these are real, they are very unlikely to be anything to do with a pg, surely at cd28 the egg would have been a bit too old anyway? Anyway, we?ll see. Not keen on the idea of flying tonight with this bloating. I?ve had some cramps too but in some ways, it?s just nice to know that things are still ?alive? in there; I?ve felt a bit numb I guess. Amazingly, I have been thinking I am 5dpo all day but if I did OV, I?m actually 7.

Yes, Zita West does, the lotions and potions for pregnancy are on her site too.

Sorry you?ve put on weight, that?s if it bothers you as it does me, I?ve put on ½ stone since my BFP and I feel disgusting. I lost 1 this week which is a start but I?m now 2 stone more than I want to be

Lottie?s in Spain for 3 months with work I miss her too! Hope she?s having a great time!
