Bugsbubby · 16/08/2017 07:11

myalterego1 that sounds great congratulations!! Happycrazytired also sounds like it may be a good month for you - any sign of af yet?

Myalterego1 · 15/08/2017 22:38

It's looking good here happycrazytired went to doc yesterday to get pregnancy confirmed was cd28 done test there very faint so done bloods and had to go back again today to repeat them yesterday's results were 141 so wil know tomorrow what today's are hopefully going up she has rang local epu to get me an appointment as with the reversal ectopic is high risk but with clomid so are twins !!! So it's going to be an interesting wait 🙄 as for that vibrating/ tingling feeling I had that a couple times few days ago and had on off back pain not crippling but just enough to b uncomfortable (I know I've high pain threshold so urs could b more painful for u have fingers crossed for you this is going to be the lucky sticky month 👍🏻

HappyCrazyTired · 15/08/2017 16:55

Backache here but have had that since Saturday and nothing's happened yet. I am very dry down there though so I'm sure af is in her way. Due today :(

TMI from me too but got more discharge than I've ever had since coming off the pill. Didn't get any EWCM that I was aware of and it's been rather nice being quite 'dry' but definitely not that way at the moment Blush

Bugsbubby · 15/08/2017 16:42

Very odd symptom but surely being over sensitive down there would be a symptom? Fingers crossed!

I'm spotting so assuming it's a no this month 😩 Ordered some of those ovulation kits so going to give those a go!

HappyCrazyTired · 15/08/2017 15:23

Any news Myalterego1

It's a great age gap now as I have 2 happy willing babysitters in my 2 older girls :) It's has been hard at times though when I had a baby one in primary school one in secondary school and one at college. Between nappy changing, bottle washing, laundry and helping with homework my evenings were very busy x

OP posts:
Florence16 · 15/08/2017 08:44

I think that's a lovely age mix, some people really like small gaps. I would have loved a bigger gap between my brothers and I though! Too much bickering all going through awkward stages at the same time etc.

I got them from Amazon, they're one step ones that I have been using x

HappyCrazyTired · 14/08/2017 21:33

My older children are 24 & 22 x

HappyCrazyTired · 14/08/2017 21:32

Aww thanks girls,I I've been trying to stay positive but the longer it takes the more you give up hope. It won't be the end of the world if I can't have more children which is why I think I'm able to be calm about it. My youngest 2 are 12 & 7 xx

Bugsbubby · 14/08/2017 21:22

That's great thanks, really helpful! Where did you get them for so cheap? Am I right in thinking that you need to DTD when you get a positive result or around it? As in before?

Florence16 · 14/08/2017 21:11

Bugsbubbly I just bought a lot of 30 for about £4. Was a bit worried I wouldn't be ovulating and would want to bin them after month one! It's up to you when you start. My first post pill cycle was 30 days so I started about CD11 and got my peak CD16. People say not to use FMU as you usually surge mid PM but I got my positive at 6am and by 6pm it had gone. I'll attach mine so you can see how often I was doing it. Everything says not to use FMU but I don't have time to test at work etc, so inconvenient too really.

Cd23 anyone?
Bugsbubby · 14/08/2017 20:59

Happycrazytired - sure you will be fine, 42 isn't too old - how old are your other two children?

Bugsbubby · 14/08/2017 20:57

Yes I'm needing calm too! Smile

If I buy some opks next month how many do I need is it something that you do every day? I wonder if the app has my window slightly out especially as my cycles are so long....

Florence16 · 14/08/2017 17:34

I like Ovia it 'feels' like a well rounded app but how good it actually is I don't know! I did OPKs this month which was interesting. Made my fertile window sooner than Ovia otherwise predicted.

I think I am off testing already! Unless it's the day after AF is due I won't be doing it, or so I say..! Let's see how long I last Grin

HappyTiredCrazy hopefully not, I know soooooooo many people that have had surprise pregnancies in their 40's because they thought they were past that stage in their life too but it turns out not.

Definitely liking the more chilled out vibe I'm getting on this thread though, I find it so easy to get all stressed on this board sometimes but this thread feels a bit calmer.

HappyCrazyTired · 14/08/2017 16:54

I just use period tracker so I'm interested in any a better apps out there too Smile

Bugsbubby · 14/08/2017 16:27

I'm 31, oh 34, and been trying for over a year now, but with a few breaks in between to allow for holidays... I swore at the beginning that I didn't want to obsess, didn't want to take ovulation tests or body temperatures and that we would just let it happen but starting to feel like I should be now. I track my period and fertile window using the Ovia app which seems to be ok but worry that maybe it isn't accurate? Anyone try any others?

HappyCrazyTired · 14/08/2017 16:07

I'm a bit of an oldie compared to you then,I'm 42 and my partner is 36. My last two children were conceived the first month trying so after 14 months I'm thinking my time maybe up. I'm due to start af tomorrow according to my tracker app and I've got a heavy feeling in my lower back so I'm pretty sure she's on her way. I don't stres anymore either that's why I don't test anymore x

holzyb20 · 14/08/2017 15:59

Hi how is everyone? The TTW is actually driving me crazy this month 😣 x

Florence16 · 14/08/2017 15:45

I definitely feel like I'll be company on these boards for a while..! I'm actually doing OK this TWW, I think I've mentally written it off so much that I'm not as stressed about it as I was. Last month was also my first proper period off the pill too so I was a bit worried in case things didn't go back to normal very quickly.

I'm 25 and my DH is 28. So we've got time, but I think I only want the one and would rather do it now. Life just seems to get in the way of everything, so we've decided to crack on whilst we can. And naturally I'm now rather obsessive about it all despite being a bit more laid back this month.

How are you ladies doing?

HappyCrazyTired · 13/08/2017 19:31

Always room for more, sorry to hear about your kidney infection I know how much they can hurt. No doubt I'll still be here for next month if things don't work for you this time. Would be nice to have some company x
