Bless you tee I really hope you do too x

When I was temping it would generally confirm that ovulation had happened within 24 hours of the peak opk. If you don't suffer with irregular periods I would bet any money that the pain you experienced later in the week was way after the egg dropped. Lets hope it made good friends with DH's swimmers!!
I had my peak opk today (2 days later than usual, but then I was 2 days early last month), so ovulation tomorrow and back on the old roids from Sunday.
Less DTD this cycle, CD9, CD12 & today CD14. DH is out for a day/night stag today, so I literally skipped out of the bedroom when I nailed a morning bonk (my chances later this evening are very sketchy). Have my sister and her fam staying with us tomorrow night, so questionable prospects then too. If we don't manage DTD again I'm still happy with my dates 👍🏻
For me the castor oil ritual was such a lift this month, so I really recommend it... although I hope it won't be necessary for you of corse and AF stays away. Would be so wonderful to fall in your wait for IVF. I really believe you will have a bump by Christmas Jam, keep the faith 😘

Tee I'm pretty sure now that I ovulated Tuesday. I had a sudden really sharp pain whilst standing on the train platform. I think that was a big egg coming out - perhaps involving a cyst. The pain has been since then. We had sex Monday night so I think we're okay. I mean obviously it will be BFN but at least not a result of poor timing or not trying hard enough! How are you doing?

Tee4me · 08/09/2017 17:11

Jam this is something I've googled before as I've had these types of pains a few days after ov too... apparently the fluid that is released from the follicle when you ovulate can irritate the area. I think if you got a positive opk, you will have ovulated within 24 hours. If I remember rightly you are pretty clockwork like me, I'd be really surprised if you had that kind of delay?

Thinking of you girls and sending love out

Footy hope you're having a good holiday and you and DH are healing

I've had really pronounced ovulation pain for the last 48 hours. It's very annoying. Especially as I got my positive OPK and Monday, when we last DTD.

So if I've ovulated late then we haven't given it a very good go!

I'm annoyed but 6-12 months ago I would have been beside myself. Now it's just another month Hmm

Had orchestra tonight though and loved being immersed in music 🎶

Oh no. I am so sorry for your loss Nim. Be kind to yourself. No one is going to begrudge you having more drinks than normal.

Mimi I do hope you are alright.

It's shit.

Jamon · 05/09/2017 18:49

Thinking of you nim , you've been through so much with all of this.

Sending kind wishes to you also mimi

I am so so sorry to read this mimi And nim FlowersFlowers
What a horrible and cruel turn for you both. Thinking of you both xxx

I am now on cycle 7 and due to test next week and feel truly fed up with it all. I was ttc last year for 6 months before I took a break from ttc.

Sending love and baby dust to everyone xxx

Tee4me · 05/09/2017 09:54

I'm so sorry Nim, you never fail to surprise me with your brave attitude. I'm glad you're being referred, otherwise I would have recommended my Specialist. I'm on another thread with ladies who have had amazing success under his plan, most have had >3 MCs.
Although I had my Thyroid tested on NHS last year, they didn't pick up that it was not in the ideal range for pregnancy. They deem

Hi all,

news was as expected, except nothing to see on scan at all. Should have been a baby with a heart beat. Hopefully I have just managed to miscarry it all (have been bleeding for days) but I need to have two sets of bloods two days apart to make sure the hormones are going down. If the hormones are going up then it could be an ectopic but they couldn't see one on the scan.

They talked about aspirin and asking my GP to check my thyroid and refer to the recurrent miscarriage clinic. I suspect my progesterone is not great so they might support a pregnancy with progesterone. I'm going to cut back on alcohol (not last night though, had nearly a whole bottle of wine) and get healthy.

I'm having a couple of days off work. I did 30 days of Yoga last year which was great. might get back into it.

Jamon · 05/09/2017 08:44

Kate I'm lucky my cycles are 29 days, I've got one egg yesterday and will fit one more in before pressing the IVF button. I have a deep feeling we will be doing IVF. Still going through the motions still trying as we might as well, but I'm not expecting anything.

Tee I've heard of that fertility massage on another thread - might give it a go next cycle

Thinking of you both nim mimi

physicskate · 04/09/2017 21:41

He won't get better. It's not something that does. We don't know the extent yet - but hopefully it just won't get worse!!

That sounds ace tee! I've been doing the 30 days of yoga with adriene on YouTube. Not sure I could find time for a second half hour a day now that school has started!! But the yoga has really improved my mood (mostly) and I haven't had any cramps this af, which is unheard of!!!!! I feel stronger too, but I've put on almost half a stone in the last month or 6 weeks... need to get back into the groove with that I think...

Tee4me · 04/09/2017 20:43

Oh sorry to hear about FIL Kate, hope he gets better soon and DH doesn't bottle it all up.
Jam good for you giving these last couple of eggs a decent shot! Sound well on track with your DTD dates!
It's FW in the Tee household too. CD10, egg usually drops CD13/14. Have discovered castor oil this month and thoroughly recommend! Was looking up self fertility massage on YouTube and stumbled across loads of tutorials about a castor oil ritual. Have been doing it every day since end of AF and will continue until +opk. It's just so relaxing; involves 30mins lying on the bed with an oil drenched flannel on my tummy (plastic sheet over the top) then a warm hot water bottle over that, all snuggled in a duvet cocoon! All whilst listening to fertility meditation or mindfulness. It's been so nice to take this time out every day. Then afterwards while my tummy is all warm and supple, I do a little massage over my uterus and ovaries. It's supposed to be really good for nourishing the reproductive organs and even potentially clearing blockages. Always enjoy trying something new x

Pretty much jam... not sure how he was exposed, but he is a plumber, so was surely around it at some point!

Two more eggs!? Lovely short cycles!!

I honestly do hope you are both alright mimi and nim. It's shit. I'm so sorry that you both are going through such awful times.

Jamon · 04/09/2017 19:24

What's that Kate? Sickness from exposure to asbestos? Does that affect your lungs? I hope he's alright

Sorry about AF too Sad it's shit

IVF still a way off - next step will be to call the nurses when AF comes in October to start drugs. I've got two eggs before then.

Speaking of which, its fertile week. On track with days 11,13,15 - and today got + OPK and will go again tonight

May as well keep giving it a good shot before handing over to the scientists

physicskate · 04/09/2017 19:11

Could use some good news this way too... FIL just diagnosed with asbestosis. Dh is pretty upset but doesn't like to show it.

Af arrived.

Hope you're all having a better day.

Jam hope they've set you up with all the ivf stuff...

Jamon · 04/09/2017 07:57

Thinking of you today nim and really hope there's a chance of good news for you.

Tee4me · 04/09/2017 07:25

Nim and mimi I am so very sorry!

Footy1 · 03/09/2017 12:09

I'm so so sorry Mimi and Nim. Awful news to hear. That joy taken away just like that...heartbreaking 😔 I'll pray for peace for you both x

I'm away at the moment in Greece and haven't had chance to log on and catch up, just quickly had 5 mins to myself to look and see this awful news. So sad :(

Mimilicious013 · 03/09/2017 10:05

Sorry for what you are going through @nimisha Flowers.

Thanks ladies, I had a good cry last night and have started spotting, so I guess my joy has been taken away.

We go through so much and I guess we have to be strong. Thanks for the song @tee, l managed to let out all the pain l was feeling by letting my tears down. Will be taking one day at a time

Tee4me · 02/09/2017 20:45

Oh Mimi I'm so sorry, devastating news. I hope you are being supported by your epu and your DH. Please look after yourself and take it easy.
Nim I'm really sorry for what you are going through too. Really hope you are surprised with good news on Monday, but I understand why you're managing your expectations at this stage.
Oh girls what a cruel turn of events.
This song feels a bit like our anthem at the moment...

Oh nim and mimi that's so shit. It really is. I can't even begin...

Af starts tomorrow I reckon. I'm cramping and bfn on frer this morning.

When will we get our good news?! What doesn't kill us is meant to make us stronger... feels like bullshit these days...

Nimisha · 02/09/2017 18:56

Oh Mimi I am so sorry, it's such a kick in the teeth. Look after yourself. Have you got a repeat scan (I had this with my second miscarriage and was stuck in limbo for two weeks waiting for a repeat scan).

Sorry TMI but I'm still bleeding, dark red stringy like AF. Cramps have eased off. No nausea or sore boobs since the the first bleed so I'm expecting the worst on Monday. Just hoping I get a definitive answer.
