Glad to hear things are better footy and hope he’s putting effort in too

I’m not sure what day I am - had af last week. Was much lighter than usual which worries me a bit

So we have one last try now before starting down regulating drugs. I’m on long protocol so it takes f ing ages but it’ll make a change from the ridiculous loop of trying

Kate do you have any ovary pain? Hope you’re not waiting much longer

physicskate · 25/09/2017 20:41

Cd 22. Still no ov or positive opk... Bloody typical... latest I've ov'd previously cd 25, but that was after my chemical. Not sure why this is happening this cycle. Oh wait, my 'diagnosis' probably means my body feels like she can act out. What a jerk!!

Footy1 · 25/09/2017 16:52

Sorry it's hard for you right now Kate, these feelings are perfectly normal. We all want what someone else has. I often think that i must have done something seriously wrong over the years to get these trials over the past years. Can only encourage you to not let it bring you down as this will also be Against you. Hard I know.. big hug.. xx

Tee, I'm gob snacked! That is so rude of her. Even if I suspect someone was pregnant I'd still not ask them incase they were not. You must have felt so embarrassed and insulted. Remember however bloated you are, you are lovely and your Dh loves you for you. Just think of the goal and not the journey. Its like a trial, A bit of weight is easy to shift if it doesn't work and losing the unwanted pounds will also be a fertility experiment. Have you increased your water intake ? as this might help flush any excess water.

Jam, what day are you on Jam, was you due an AF? What meds are you going to take?

Hope everyone else ok. How you doing Nim and Mimi?

I'm plodding along, still no AF cd32. Chased up scan, but they said i should hear this week. They see it as non urgent I guess after blood results were ok. I still think I have a blockage or loads of cysts. When I lie on my right side I get a dull ache every night since about 2weeks. That's not normal.
Dh and I continue to rebuild our marriage. So far so good Smile

Jamon · 24/09/2017 22:29

Wish I could give you both a big hug

Kate it’s so normal to feel envious and resentful - don’t beat yourself up

Tee how bloody thoughtless of her Envy I know exactly what you mean about exercise and life on hold - I’ve held back from things over the last two years and got nothing to show for it Hmm might start running again

Tee4me · 24/09/2017 22:24

Ah girls, this is getting so tough. Can't believe we are approaching the 2 year mark.
I went to a Wedding on Friday. The bride is one of my closest friends, she knows about my ttc struggles, however, when I finished my reading at the ceremony, as I walked past her and flashed a little smile, she mouthed what looked like "bump?". I shrugged it off thinking I must have misunderstood, but when I hugged her after the Wedding she said "Oh Tess are you pregnant?!"
So to add insult to the injury of failing to conceive, I currently look about 6 months pregnant because of these bloody steroids!! I'm so bloated it hurts. AF arrived yesterday. I've never felt more crap about myself. I'm now on the slimfast diet and have ordered Piyo (60 day fitness programme). I'm fed up of life being on hold and not doing anything on the off chance I might get pregnant soon.
🙄

Thanks jam. I hope you're ok.

I had a pretty bad night and morning. I really hate my body right now. Cd 21 and still negative opks. Surely it's because I've got clomid downstairs for next cycle... all I can see is her precious little baby face and I keep thinking why did t my bean grow and you did?? I massively resent everything. I hate who I am these days...

Jamon · 24/09/2017 21:36

Oh Kate 💐💐💐 hope you’re ok

No news from me. Had a weird light AF so not sure what’s going on there. Family wedding yesterday , three people asked me why we don’t have children yet SadSad

Next AF will be calling the nurses to get our drugs delivered..

physicskate · 23/09/2017 21:39

Met SIL's unplanned baby (which she reminded me twice she was unplanned)... numb. Depressed. Broody as fuck. And so upset I'm swearing. Like a sailor.

Cd 20 and still no positive opk.

Jamon · 21/09/2017 22:53

Hi girls xx will catch up properly tomorrow xx

Footy1 · 21/09/2017 21:02

No scan yet, I'm still waiting kate. I have the blood tests back and all was normal. They tested for cancers and inflammation. Still getting the cramps though.. it's really weird.

Oh why oh why does my body not work!!?cd28 but don't think I ovulated so nothing to report. Hopefully I'll get appointment for scan soon. Do t think they will do the flush thing with me tee as not qualify for fertility help.

I've heard of inofolic but no idea what they are.

Nice to hear from you Durez, hope leg gets better soon x

physicskate · 21/09/2017 19:46

How is everyone? Any scan news foot? How are things your end tee?

I've just started inofolic which is meant to help pcos... it's safe during pregnancy and I figure it can't hurt. Ov is soon I think? Losing track of cycle day.

Crap day at work but it doesn't phase me as much (but still phases).

Tee4me · 17/09/2017 10:09

Footy good luck with the scan. I continue to suffer with lots of cramps throughout my cycle. Makes me think about cysts and endometriosis, but my internal scans never revealed anything. Did you ever have that tube flush treatment that Jam had? Wonder if that would be a good idea if there's potentially blockages?
Hope things are continuing to improve with you and DH too x

Hi DuRez, nice to hear from you. God can't believe how far along you are. Such a shame about you your leg. Baby will be here soon and you can put it all behind you.
Holiday planning is always a nice distraction Kate. I have a similar mindset to you. Used to plan things around the possibility of being pregnant, now I just expect the failure. We've booked in for an evening Spa at Nirvana in late October. Way back when I wouldn't have paid out for non-pregnant friendly treatments so far in advance. Now I don't think anything of it.
Jam you must be due AF soon? Hope you are getting on OK. IVF kicking off next month?

My Specialist offers a Super Ovulation treatment. Think it's a similar drug to Clomid, plus a scan to look at follicles and a trigger shot. I'm due to see him again at the end of the month if this 2nd cycle on Steroids hasn't worked. My appointment should be CD2, so I should be able to get started immediately. I don't think I can follow the steroid protocol for more than 6 months, so I feel like I need to do everything I can to make for a successful cycle.

Thinking of both Mimi & Nim, hope you are recovering ok xx

It's nice to hear from you! Can't believe you are that far along! It doesn't seem that long ago at all!! Sorry to hear the leg has been such an issue and it's all happened at once. Silver lining? At least it didn't happen when you were a new mum??

We're planning out next holiday to see my parents over Christmas! Last time to see the house I grew up in and got through any of the crap I still have there! It should be during my third clomid cycle, which won't be monitored. (See how I don't even think any of these cycles are going to be successful???)... Jesus!

Would be nice to have a warm Christmas!

DuRezidal · 14/09/2017 03:08

Just catching up with everyone.

So sorry to read some of the posts, why is ttc so heartbreaking.

Kate great news that you have a plan. It means that things are starting to move forwards and there are options.

I'm ok, the leg is doing alright but still waiting on the second surgery on it. I'm back doing more or less everything i was again but have dropped to 3-4 horses a day now as my bump gets tight and my pelvis sore. I am 32 weeks at the moment and have my last show this weekend before the baby Ian born.

I don't enjoy pregnancy at all, but feel a bit sad that I've missed so much of this one with breaking my leg and all that entailed.

Footy1 · 13/09/2017 18:55

Great news Kate! I started a thread earlier this year on clomid! Not on it anymore but worth a read if you need advice and some lovely ladies on there.
This could well be the only thing you need.

Update my end.. I'm cd20 had cramps for about 10 days now that have got worse. Went to see gp who thinks I have a stuck cyst. So got to have scan in next 7 days. Will update how that goes..

Jamon · 11/09/2017 20:44

Hurrah great news Kate ! There's a thread on Infertility about clomid, might be some useful hints. How exciting for you, this could be all it takes Wink

Tee4me · 11/09/2017 20:09

Yes Kate!! You have an immediate plan of action (well 4 weeks - but nothing in the scheme of things!) Wonderful news!! Don't be scared to feel hope, we need good energy in our bodies, you must believe this will happen for you. I found a nice affirmation track on YouTube, you need to acknowledge that your body IS capable of doing this and WILL hold a pregnancy. Embrace this Kate they'll be a bfp by Christmas xx

Made me nearly cry coming home and seeing your messages.... you lot are so kind!!

Oh mimi my heart goes out to you. I wish I could make it all better for you...

Very pleased to see that TSH result Tee!! That's smashing! I bet you feel like a new person too!!

My appointment today was unreal. SA 'good', 'well that's not causing a problem'. So chlamydia AND rubella came back fine!! (I honestly only though they were going to come back an issue to further frustrate the process, not because Ive had chlamydia... ). FSH was 6.1, so fine.

So he thinks it's the cysts. He gave me three months' worth of clomid and the first cycle is tracked with scans and cd 21 bloods. Worryingly, it restores some hope? So I'm worried about that...

Cd 7? So I've got about 4 weeks till it starts... probably going to be my longest cycle yet this time!!

Jamon · 11/09/2017 15:25

Mimi how are you doing? I hope your family and friends are taking good care of you

Great news tee well done 👍🏼

Tee4me · 11/09/2017 15:19

God we really do need good news here, well overdue is an understatement!

Kate, looking forward to hearing how you got on! My TSH came back, I'm down to 1.5, so happy with that! xx

Best of luck @kate.fx for good results.

Thinking of you @nim and sending you massive hugs. Hope you are okay.

@foot ,@tee and @jam really hope you got that egg 😉. Good luck with the tww lovelies.

Hie @mama, did you poas yet? Fx

Thank you lovely ladies for thinking of me and sending me well wishes. Today my bleeding has finally stopped. Going back for a repeat scan to make sure all has come out. It's been tough but like someone here once said, what doesn't kill us can only make us stronger. I really wish better luck can come on this thread. We need good news. Good sticky beans all round.

Lot's of love

Jamon · 11/09/2017 08:41

Good luck today Kate let us know how it goes.

Footy1 · 09/09/2017 19:39

Thinking of you Nim and mimiFlowers

Holiday was fantastic thanks, had a really nice relaxing time. Boys thoroughly enjoyed it too. Dh and I got on really well and spent lots of time dtd! Had bad cramps last few days so think possible I have ovulated. Not really planning anything just seeing what happens all round really. Think I'm about cd16. Only got back yesterday so I've been busy today washing!

What's the castor oil for tee?
*
Jam* orchestra sounds good! I love music too helps me destress.

Kate thinking of you and hope you get good results. Don't worry about what's to come, just take each day as they happen. Xx

physicskate · 09/09/2017 08:55

2nd appointment Monday. Getting nervous. Expecting dh's SA, my FSH, rubella and chlamydia results. Have low expectations, but worried about how I might react to bad news... I have to get to work right after the appointment and can't do my job when I'm upset. Start of the year, can't let behaviour slide for a lesson, if you see what I mean.

Trying to avoid thinking through all the possibilities. Have a list of questions. Hope I remember everything! Not sure how long it will be before I can ask again!
