Thank you, ladies. Little Russ is growing too fast for my liking!
Parney, good to hear from you. Wow, DC2 is on the way! How exciting!
Think we decided for a DC2 too. Very scared about such a small age gap if all goes well. It would be the same as my brother and I. Wish I could ask my mum and how she managed then. But sadly she’s no longer here.
Will carry on reading and hopefully you get your BFPs soon.

Parney · 20/11/2017 16:32

I’m still reading and hoping for good news from you all! It can be such a heartbreaking process but I’m glad to see determination shining through. Lots of luck to you all who have appointments coming up, I can’t wait to hear about BFPs.
DS will be one next month and he’s such a cheeky little boy! All going well he will be a big brother in March, I’m 22 weeks with DC2. I’m excited and a little scared about the age gap.
Thinking of you all Flowers I’ll still be reading!

Peregrane · 20/11/2017 15:47

Russ your baby daughter is gorgeous! What a heart-warming smile!

physicskate, that wasn't me. Coming up to one year of ttc without success. There are a few other posters with similar handles to mine. I promise I'll post here if I have good news :)

Hang on to that good feeling about the shorter cycles! Feeling positive in general can't hurt, right?

Mimilicious013 · 20/11/2017 15:05

how are you @nim and @mama

Mimilicious013 · 20/11/2017 15:01

Peregrine, did I see your good news an another thread??

I’ve just ovulated clomid cycle two... Dtd last night and every other day before that. Cd 16, so this is fantastic for me!! Liking these shorter cycles... not that they will help me get pregnant!

Russkispy · 11/11/2017 17:54

Thank you, Kate! Definitely rooting for you and your positive outcome!
I’m now back on Ovia fertility, tracking my cycles. Know they’re slightly shorter than before, and certainly can see when i ovulate without testing, ie mucus etc

physicskate · 11/11/2017 16:21

Oh Russ!! It’s so lovely to hear from you!! That’s very exciting news and I’m so pleased for your plans!! Your baby is so beautiful!!

Cd 9 here. Not sure how many cycles it is now?? But hurrying up to 20 months ttc. Next appt 11th of December. No idea what happens then. Second clomid cycle going ok. Hot flashes have subsided. Starting opks tomorrow. No idea when I’ll ov though...

Russkispy · 11/11/2017 16:03

Hi everyone,
I’m still here and following your progress. Hope some of you still remember me.
Congratulations on pregnancies and very sorry about MCs.
I’ll be re-joining you from January cycle as we decided for a babi #2!
Kind of scary as our baby #1 is only 5 month! But because of my ancient age, we must get going. I’ll be 42 next April.
Some of you might remember that we TTC naturally for 5 months last year and did an IUI on the 6th cycle and it worked! We got this done back at home, in Riga. I just came back from Riga, took my baby daughter to meet up with my doctor who did the procedure. We both cried when she met my baby girl. She also did an US and could see my CS scar healed up nicely. I was mid cycle then and was ovulating, everything looked perfect to her. Apart from a tiny polyp which we hope will disappear itself. Anyway, she suggested 3 cycle she of natural TTC and if not successful, then back in the clinic for an IUI. But to remove the polyp beforehand. Sounds like a good plan to us albeit nerve wrecking. I’ll keep you posted and of course still here following your journey

Physicskate, if they find something that has been keeping you from falling pregnant, at least they can try and fix it, right? If they found nothing, would it not feel more disconcerting that you have not -yet - fallen pregnant? I can also imagine that it has felt a bit awkward at work... but hopefully your deputy head is adult enough to deal with it.

Peregrane · 05/11/2017 23:03

Been quietly reading here. This whole process is a bit of a grind, but as long as there are tests to be done and remedies to be tried, there has still got to be hope, right?

Nothing much new to report here. We had a bit of a ludicrous day today. This w/e was the only time DH and I were in the same town for this fertile window. We tried to DTD this afternoon while we thought it was safe, and were nearly walked in on by my dad!Shock So that was ignominiously aborted.

I’ve had only a faint line on my OPK (thank you again to those who put me on to this) and my CM is also making me think I may have already ovulated (sorry for TMI) - if at all - despite it only being CD12. I used to ovulate around CD16...

DH has finally gone to get a sperm analysis and once we have the results, I’ll start with the tests too...

physicskate · 05/11/2017 22:56

No tracking this cycle, just last one. I found it kinda stressful with having to get cover at work and had to tell the deputy head as well, which I hadn’t wanted to. I was really upset after the first two scans weren’t brilliant too...

And there’s another hot flush...

Tee4me · 05/11/2017 21:37

Sorry Kate. Do they track your Clomid progress with a scan pre-ovulation, to check you are responding appropriately? I reckon the first cycle was just your warm up for the real thing in round 2! 🙏🏻🤞🏻
I’m 4dpo after my 2nd round of Super Ovulation. I had x2 matured follicles this time, triggered on Monday night. Specialist assured me by doing the trigger shot both eggs should almost definitely release. I’d like to think that’s double the chance, but don’t think it works like that, especially if something else is going on to prevent pregnancy. I always thought ovulation wasn’t the problem.
Hi Nelle, any sign of AF yet?
Peaches glad you survived the smear! Never nice 🙈 xx

OP posts:
physicskate · 03/11/2017 23:50

So af arrived. Square one. Clomid cycle two. Not sure what cycle number overall...

Welcome Nelle. It’s quiet in these parts as the ones of us that are left are but biding our time for treatment and/or cycles to pass us by...

NelleB · 31/10/2017 17:44

30
Cycle #3
First baby...
Finally bought some ovulation tests, feel like the tracking apps aren’t helping me... AF due next week. I have everything crossed she doesn’t come. Good luck to everyone xx

physicskate · 31/10/2017 17:17

So I’m 12 dpo and all negative tests...

Bloods came back that I’ve ovulated. Cycle 2 of clomid here I come...

peachesarenom · 27/10/2017 15:35

I survived! Defo uncomfy though.

peachesarenom · 27/10/2017 15:00

I am so squeamish! I have to have a smear test so that I can get a fertility referral and I've always avoided them, never had one! Waiting now, so scared! I don't want to do it!

physicskate · 27/10/2017 12:34

That's quite interesting Tee. Coldness and hypothyroid go hand in hand. I was doing the caster oil pack until ov, but thought I was meant to stop after?? I am now about 8 dpo.

peachesarenom · 27/10/2017 11:07

Footy1 I've heard that some people react better to inofolic, it is supposed to help you ovulate and relieve symptoms of pcos.

Tee4me · 27/10/2017 10:05

Morning all,
Just dropping in with some food for thought. My acupuncturist has picked up that there is stagnation in my uterus in the LP. This was prompted by my comments re. cramping in the 2ww, and clotty periods. Also some physical factors she has picked up in treatment; cold hands and feet and the way my pulses are running. Anyway, I definitely think there could be something in this (along with my immune factors). Posting a link to an interesting article and also a screenshot that lead me to google ‘cold uterus’

heidibrockmyre.com/blog/2015/11/12/is-your-uterus-too-cold-to-conceive

Thought you ladies might be interested, I know we’ve discussed wearing socks in 2ww before and wonder if this article resonates with any of you too? I’m now staring my day with a ginger tea ☕️ and am continuing the castor oil packs which I think are really helping xx

Peaches, last yr they said I was borderline pcos and so prescribed metformin. I was so ill with it. Felt like I had a nauseating hangover every day. Only tried it for 3 months but couldn't handle it. I lost a stone! But didn't really need to lose weight. It did nothing for me.
Just recently had scan and bloods and now I'm in ok levels. Does it stimulate your ovaries?

peachesarenom · 26/10/2017 17:05

Footy1 do you have pcos? Have you tried inofolic?

peachesarenom · 26/10/2017 17:04

Hi all, I have nothing interesting to report. Still struggling to get the inofolic down and developing a varicose vein.

Sounds like you're all making progress!
