Not teaching. Definitely not teaching. That's nowhere near sustainable with the wee one! It's in the civil service. Today I didn't do much, which makes for a refreshing change of, 'it's 8am, here are your keys. Your first lesson starts in half an hour. Oh yeah, you need a login, don't you? Induction/training complete.'

@physicskate it's lovely to hear the little one is all grown.l bet she is up and about with anything she can get a hold of.

All's well here. My munchkin is 9 and a half months. I start a new job tomorrow (not bricking it. At. All.) so I have to start not being there for every moment of her day. Finding that concept tough. Obviously she needs to start being independent at some point, but not sure I'm quite ready for it. I mean, I've finally managed to get her to nap in her cot ffs and now she's going through some huge upheaval...

Not sure what the future will bring or if we will ever go for physicist #2 (would love her to have a sibling, but very daunted by getting my heart set on it given the shit time we had getting her here). Can sympathise a lot with @Mimilicious013 with being thankful for the lot I've got!!

Currently feeding my one month old who kept me up half of last night. But at least she let us sleep from 8am-11!!

Hi ladies, not sure if you remember me. After having second IVF, I just finished my early Scan which went very well and all progressing well and according to the dates! 7w3d today! And only 1 baby! Strong heartbeat! tears of relief about everything! Booked for another reassurance scan in 2 weeks! Then harmony test in 3 weeks and anxiously waiting for its results. In the meantime time, still feeling tired every night and nausea kicked in last week, and boobs are still tender from the day of transfer. But I'm not complaining. Just feeling blessed we've gone that far and still more hurdles to overcome

I had a 3rd degree tear with my second too Tee. She was one at the end of March (3 years and 1 day since the thread started!!!) And I've thankfully had no issues. I found theatre scary enough though at the time.
Congrats Radders, I'm sure your 2 your old is keeping you busy too. My son was 2 in December and he is quite the character.
I found out around this time 3 years ago that I was pregnant with him, it really feels like such a short time ago.
Will keep checking in on everyone! I've loved having 2 babies close together, there's 15 months between my two. I'm not sure I could handle another just yet but I would love more one day.

@Tee4me - we've called her Eliza. She's putting on weight rapidly and already past her birth weight.

I've developed a highly nasty uti and am on my second course of antibiotics. Still very sore and bruised, but taking fewer painkillers. Sitting is still troublesome and I think I may get have a bruised coccyx?

So glad you're ok and that he arrived safely!! It's been such a strange 'journey' the last three years... your little one is gorgeous!! I bet you're all over the moon!!

So this happened on Wednesday!! Almost three years to the day after @Tee4me started this lovely, supportive thread!!

Contractions (little more than bh tbh) started with my first show on Sunday at 2am. Fed up by my third sweep on Tuesday. No sleep, not coping well. Screw breathing and visualisations!

Thought waters had gone early hours weds. Went into hospital at 6am- 2cm!! After three full days!! So they swept me again, which broke my waters. Then they gave me all the drugs and drip. Epidural only worked on my left-hand side. She was born with forceps, an episiotomy and massive blood loss at 4:16pm. And I wouldn't have had it any other way!!! Wouldn't have changed a thing (except maybe epidural working on both sides)...

Oh and I've already literally shit myself twice already. Yay. The bruising and swelling is a bit unreal. The pain now is different to my pelvic girdle pain, but at least I'm used to being in pain all the time??

@physicskate I'm sorry to hear about the pain. That can't be pleasant. Is that to do with your pelvis? I forgot what it's called now. I'm sure your mum will be understanding and hopefully will help you out and weight on you 

@Tee4me thank you. It hasn't sunk in yet after the miscarriage - it all becomes a bit of a whirlwind.
We have a boy and we found out with him but we are not going to find out this time. Have a little surprise! I normally need to be in control and know everything but I'm determined to have the secret. Last time we will do this so going to have some willpower.
Our son will be 2.5 when baby arrives.

You've picked a great time to move haven't you hehe but once it's all done it'll be worth it.Is it a big move to a different area? Is your son excited about the move and the new arrival??

I too am ready for her to come!! But obviously want her to cook as long as she needs. I had to stop work several weeks ago as I can't walk more than about 50m without crying from pain (and that's with the crutches).

But I won't bang on about it...

My mum's coming from abroad to visit this week (though I have no idea why!!!), which should be interesting. I have no idea how to keep her occupied without walking anywhere...

34, trying to conceive for 5 cycles (this is our 6th). Hypothyroid. second child for me and third for him. Almost had a breakdown yesterday so we're trying to be more relaxed about it.
One chemical (cycle three).
LP of 13 days.
