Lose 10 pounds in 7 weeks - anyone like to join me?

I hope so as I am getting there so slowly

I've lost 5andahalf lbs since the start of this thread - not what I hoped I would be saying. Getting there though! Slowly is better, as it stays off longer - doesn't it?

Hi mrsmc I don't think starving is necessary before an appt with a Consultant Haematologist. I work in a nurse led clinic, but as part of specialist training in thromophillia probs, I spent a day with our consultant (incidentally a lovely Scottish lady - a Mrs Mc in fact!) She saw people with probs conceiving, and as thrombophilia is sometimes hereditary, I think you should expect lots of family questions for you and Mr Mc. And to give some of your blood away! You'll probably also be advised on medication that may help. Good luck with it all

Ok, finished hi-jack! I am back and ready to continue in my quest for weight loss. I have two excuses for lack of posting

1. I'm blaming DD3 who has SN and likes to dance all night! I am knackered and so have been comfort eating
2. I was 42 one week ago - well a gals gotta celebrate! but thats all finished now.

Thank you PussyCat 7.5 pounds! That is fabulous, well done I went back to class last Sat, I intend to keep going (I did last time and only fell by the wayside when I had MC, at that point (10 weeks) I?d only put on a pound so think it?s worth my while especially with the extra 7 I now have )

Theheadgirl thanks! the useful ladies I meet on here! I will CAT you! I?m seeing Consultant Haem on Monday so I?ll let you know how that goes. Sect didn?t say anything about fasting before the appointment? Is that necessary? Hope you say no, starving at the mo! How are things with you?

I would love to stay if no one minds Coggy. I need some motivation too and I loved the idea of this thread as its title suggested something to me that I might be able to achieve. I would happily cheer everyone on.

Roundthebend....we actually have a couple of 'cheerleaders' who are not ttc either....just willing us who are on and all losing weight together at the same time.
You don't need to go.

Pusscat...a pound is a pound and you are well over half way to a stone...that's great!
