TTC faint HCG test +??

Flybee31 · 05/08/2017 07:51

I have been off the pill (Yasmin) since January, had normal withdrawal bleed and then nothing at all, no positive ovulation tests or natural period until I took one round of Clomid. I ovulated 14 days later and had AF 14 days after that. So not pregnant. This was May.
I have then since not had anything and now AF is 9 days late. I have been testing with cheap online HCG dipsticks daily and it's starting to drive me mad.
I have had probably 5/6 very faint positive lines. I will attach a few photos if you can tell me if you can see it. I have one 'not pregnant' clear blue digital. And probably 2 negative HCG's too. The last two days I have noticed a slight brown tinge (sorry tmi) on the tissue when I wipe and a tiny amount of brown dry looking blood/clot.
I have no idea what's going on, the doctor said it's just time and I need to give my body time for the hormones to return to normal but something not quite right.
I'm 31, not been pregnant before. Healthy and of a normal weight.
Any advice would be very much appreciated.
Xx

Thank you for your messages.

So while still none the wiser I have a blood test again today so hopefully some results tomorrow. Either way I just want some answers now. Midwife said to expect to start bleeding any day if the hCG levels haven't risen. I'm still clinging onto that tiny bit of hope that it was just way too early to see anything. Not looking likely when they said the uterus wasn't thick enough for pregnancy. Oh well, I can move on but just need to my body to reset itself.
Hope you're having a better time of it ladies and some positive news 😊xxx

Thats just awful, god love you 😔 after all them positives my heart really goes out to you xx

Flybee31 · 12/08/2017 17:30

They started with the normal ultra sound then obviously didn't see anything so did internal one and checked everything was ok. Still nothing and said uterus wasn't thick enough for viable pregnancy. I'm happy that nothing is majorly wrong but still a long way to go to find out why my period is 16 days late now and not pregnant. Watch this space I will let you know what happens. I hope you ladies are having a more exciting time xxx

Awww @flybee31 im so sorry 😔 did they do a normal scan on your tummy or a vaginal one?xx

Kannet · 12/08/2017 16:49

I'm so sorry x

Flybee31 · 12/08/2017 10:40

Ok so update is..... just been for a private scan and the uterus was clear, no pregnancy or so so early that it's not visible but she said very unlikely. The positive thing is the ovaries were clear and nothing untoward so that's ruled out ectopic so that's good.
Talk about emotional roller coast this week! Just so glad it's my parents that know and I haven't had to go back and tell people one minute we, one minute we're not etc.
The midwife that did the scan said she was surprised the doctor didn't raise a concern at such a low hCG level. Will make another appointment on Monday and she said to get another scan booked for 2 weeks time. Thanks for listening to me rant xx

With you in spirit flybee hope the scan reassures you xx

Flybee31 · 12/08/2017 06:08

Thank you very much. I've been up most the night with worry. I've booked in for a private early scan this morning so I suppose that will be conclusive. On researching, the main concern with that low number is ectopic, so at least with the scan today that should rule it out. If I don't find anything out today I'm going to call NHS line and maybe try and get seen again as there was no mention of retesting my bloods and I think I need that reassurance. Thank you for you support xx

Urgh. 50. I meant 50 not 500!!! 🙄 it may be that you're only 4 weeks Hun in which case your levels could be deemed normal. Fingers crossed. X

MouseLove · 11/08/2017 21:39

Hi Flybe, I think you need to go back to your docs and double check those numbers. I was told with my mmc that anything over 500 is considered a viable pregnancy. Are you sure it's not 1100? Sending hugs. Xxx please don't google anymore and try to not worry as you may not be 6 weeks if you ovulated and implanted late. Fingers crossed. X

Flybee31 · 11/08/2017 20:38

Thank you everyone.
So the blood test came back positive!! HCG levels were 110 so she said that counts as a positive. But if my dates are correct I'm 6 weeks today and those levels seem quite low according to google searches (why do we do it ourselves).
I'm hoping everything will be ok but I'm still in a denial state of mind. Thanks for your wishes xx

Good luck op sounds very confusing and a total emotional roller coaster. Crossing fingers for you. The thought I had is you also know you are ovulating so hold on to that too.

Flybee31 · 10/08/2017 17:19

Thank you very much for kind wishes. Will hopefully get results from blood test tomorrow but I will stay positive that the test was correct this morning and all still there but if it isn't I have accepted it wasn't meant to be this time. The waiting game is a killer isn't it! Xx

It could be that because it is still early, your hcg levels aren't concentrated enough in afternoon wee??

WineAndTiramisu · 10/08/2017 10:39

Good luck, hope blood test comes back positive!

MrsMamaG2016 · 10/08/2017 10:08

Good luck op I hope you are x

Sunshinesaz86 · 10/08/2017 09:41

Oh no how confusing for you fly the tests are obviously picking something up to have those positives in the first place.

I'll keep my fingers crossed hoping the bloods confirm good news for you. Good luck.

TinyBarista · 10/08/2017 07:03

Hi flybee will be crossing my fingers for you this morning xx

Flybee31 · 10/08/2017 04:45

Morning!
Well I'm so confused. I've just had a 'Pregnant 1-2 weeks' digital CB again after last nights negatives at home and at the doctors. I have no idea what's going on and whether I actually am. Bloods being taken this morning so I suppose that will confirm everything for sure xx

ohherewegoagain · 09/08/2017 20:21

Sorry to hear that. :( I hope you get your strong BFP soon. Let us know how you get on.

Flybee31 · 09/08/2017 19:53

It looks likely that's the case to me. So disappointing after so many positive tests and actually seeing those words on the digital. Suppose the blood test will confirm and back to square one 🤷🏼‍♀️

quarterpast · 09/08/2017 19:48

Oh OP how disappointing. Could it have been a chemical pregnancy?

Flybee31 · 09/08/2017 19:24

Thank you.
So bit of a set back today. Yesterday morning I had a faint dipstick line, his afternoon I decided to do another digital CB to see if weeks had changed and it flashed 'not pregnant'!! To say I'm upset and disappointed is a huge understatement. I managed to get a doc appoint straight away and he tested wee and agreed was negative. No AF and possibly no pregnancy so who knows that's going on. Booked in for a blood test tomorrow to confirm and will do one more test with first morning wee. I'm actually going crazy here! Thanks for listening x

Flybee31 · 06/08/2017 09:18

Oh and I still have the very faint 'spotting' when I wipe after a wee. Like a very pale brown/pink almost not visible but definitely there. I'll keep an eye and mention to the doctor when I go xx
