(Also posted in pregnancy category) Slightly long post but please help me out. Hi everyone wondering if you could help me out here. I'm 17 years old and worried I could be pregnant. I have an app on my phone which keeps track of my cycle, I dated that my last period began on the 20th June and the app says my ovulation date was 3rd July. I had unprotected sex around 7 times across the 12th and 13th July as I stayed at my boyfriends, and again 4 times accross the 17th and 18th. My period is now 14 days late. I took a asda pregnant test when I was 5 days late it was negative, took 2 at 10 days late both negative ahain. I'm not sure on the symptoms as sometimes not I think I have some and other times I think it's my head messing with me but I'm definitely more tired and peeing a lot more. I sometimes have light cramps and had very light spotting on the 19th July. I am not on any form of contraception and therefore don't want to see my doctor if not needed as he is a very judgemental one and gave me the stick a few months ago over birth control. Does anyone know if there's a chance I could be pregnant after the dates of sex and when I should take another test if needed? May I also add that I have had a lot of clear discharge over the past few weeks, I am having to wear pants liners whenever I go out the house. Sometimes it is thick and sometimes runny.

There used to be a sexual health clinic down the road but as far as I know it's shut down now so I will google any other nearby ones

No I'm not planning to conceive atm, I'm 18 in 2 weeks and due to go to university in September. I'm not on contraception due to personal choice and experience with it and although we've been irresponsible in terms of not using condoms myself and my boyfriend said if it ever happened we would take it as it comes and deal with it together, but absolutely not planned although we were aware it was a possibility x

Walk in sexual health clinics would be quicker. Our local gp surgery hosts one and you can just turn up.

You need to see the GP ASAP. If you have had unprotected sex then yes of course you could be pregnant.

I don't think you're pregnant if you didn't have sex around ovulation time and are having negative tests. They are usually accurate if taken correctly. Do you want to be pregnant? x

I'm going to try get in with the GP asap however my doctors is always busy and as It's not an emergency I could be waiting a while unfortunately, but in the meantime I will buy some more tests of a different brand next week when I get paid

If you don't want to get pregnant, you really should not have unprotected sex. So your gp is right...

Ok, lecture over. It's highly unlikely you're pregnant as it's been more than a couple weeks since last unprotected sex and you're getting negative tests.

Sometimes we skip a cycle. Or sometimes we just ovulated reeeeealy late which will delay the start of your period.

Could you book with a different GP? I'd do another test now as well.

I use an app but alongside ovulation predictor sticks and the app hasn't matched exactly to when I've got a positive on the stick so if you ovulated late then there is a chance.
