Come one, come all, new and old, no-one wants to be here, but at least we're glad we've got each other :) Flowers

Hope your stay here is short.

Now, some BFPs if you please and BFNs for those who are waiting for them too!

I'm 12 dpo.
Had no symptoms other than very very bad cramps for the last 2 days and diarrhoea which is completely normal for me before AF. So was shocked when the cramps suddenly stopped today but no bleeding.

I'm not willing to believe until I do another test tomorrow.
Fingers crossed.

Lime19 · 11/08/2017 10:26

Noodle thanks! I needed that! Going to enjoy the day as much as I can and try not to overthink anything

weasledee · 11/08/2017 10:04

Hello!
Can I join please?
Was induced at 14 weeks as baby's heartbeat had stopped, suspected chromosomal problem. This was 3 weeks ago, waiting for cycle to start again so we can start trying again...
I have 2 DC already :)

SJ88 · 11/08/2017 10:00

@Lime19 I Have to say that's some great advice from @rachelandthenoodle Smile

SJ88 · 11/08/2017 09:59

@lime - sounds promising that your levels are doubling? Although I'm admit I'm not too savvy with all this. Hoping for more good news for you and sending positive vibes your way.
@HFHKingswood83 congrats on your bfp :)
@ForeverHopeful21 that's looks like a positive to me... congrats :)
I'm 8dpo and currently having a debate with myself about taking another FRER after whiter than white one yesterday lol.. (didn't get to sleep til past 3am so just up Blush)

gingerbreadmam · 11/08/2017 09:58

as far as i know its low progesterone that is a problems so that's good news.

I can see a line. love line checking Grin

congrats!

rachelandthenoodle · 11/08/2017 09:57

@ForeverHopeful21 that looks good to me!

@Lime19 Hun, will you do me a favour? Will you put some headphones on with some upbeat music and go for a walk? The sun is shining, your pregnancy hormones are doing precisely what they're meant to do and skyrocketing, your body is throwing some extra progesterone into the mix: who knows why! Maybe it's a defence mechanism, maybe it's an anomaly. Either way, it's doing its thing. Give it a chance. You need to get your head into a positive place. I'm not suggesting to be getting so excited that you risk being even more disappointed if it does end up going wrong; I get that. I'm just saying that thinking happy thoughts is going to help more than hinder. For right now, you're defo pregnant. Congratulations. Give yourself a break and a chance to relax into that idea! xx

TheGrumpySquirrel · 11/08/2017 09:56

How many dpo are you?

TheGrumpySquirrel · 11/08/2017 09:55

That is a clear BFP @ForeverHopeful21 !!

ForeverHopeful21 · 11/08/2017 09:44

Bertie ....don't forget you promised!!!

TTC After MC 12: Hopeful Twats and Emotional Wrecks welcome!
TheGrumpySquirrel · 11/08/2017 09:39

I'm still trying to decide if I'm imagining my symptoms. Need to assume I am. Flying in less than an hour, woop 🙌🏼

TheGrumpySquirrel · 11/08/2017 09:38

Lime that sounds really good! Unlikely to be ectopic and doubling nice and fast! Really hopeful for you

Lime19 · 11/08/2017 09:36

Anyone else sometimes think that there is such a thing as too much knowledge? I wish I didn't know stuff about hcg and progesterone and doubling times. I wish I could just be happy I got a line

Lime19 · 11/08/2017 09:34

Bloods are in... I've gone from 900 to 2500 in less than 48 hours. I'm not sure what that means a consultant is calling me back. A nurse said "unlikely to be an ectopic" but can't rule it out. My progesterone is super high again.

Ive still got a very bad feeling

BertieBotts · 11/08/2017 09:29

Forever, let us have a look? We promise not to laugh.

Lime, hand hold and thinking of you.

Sorry if I've missed anyone, my screen is too small.

gingerbreadmam · 11/08/2017 09:28

so do you get your blood test results today lime it sounds like things are very much up in the air. i shall keep everything crossed for you. i'm so very sorry for the loss of your twins.

a line is a line!

ForeverHopeful21 · 11/08/2017 09:04

Sending lot of love your way Lime. Don't blame you for fearing the worst, I tend to do this too, and especially after already experiencing previous lows. Keep us updated.

After my pity party yesterday with a negative test. I've done another this morning and it looks like a very very faint potential positive. I'm trying not to get my hopes up. I sent the pic to my DH and he pretty much laughed and said I was being silly. Not exactly the reaction I was hoping for but he could be right.

ThoughtAboutThisTooMuch · 11/08/2017 09:02

I'm so sorry Lime what a shitty stressful time for you. Keeping everything crossed for you.

Congratulations HFH!

HFHKingswood83 · 11/08/2017 08:41

Lime - sending you big hugs.

Grumpy - have a fantastic holiday!

Dudemeister - I got a HCG of 2 a week and a half after my MC started (it happened quickly and scan showed nothing there) and have had 4 BFNs in between (when I convinced myself I was preggers) so am fairly confident there was no retained tissue. Think I'm just going to self-refer to my EPAU as they were great at handling my MC and it's going to be fun trying to explain how far along I am (ie I have no clue!)

Smurf - they were all FMU but just done another CBD and got '1-2 weeks' so clearly very dependent when you take the test. Just so excited to have two BFPs. But trying not to get too carried away...

Lime19 · 11/08/2017 08:20

This will be my 2nd loss. I lost twins at 9 weeks back in may. So I have gotten pregnant again on 1st cycle.

I'm very unsure of my dates. I mean I can only be 4 weeks 5 days max! I'm on cd31 so less that a week "late" but the hcg speaks for itself. At 900 two days ago it should be 1800 now and you should see a sac.

Sigh. It's so shit!

I really hope all you ladies have better luck than I am having.

gingerbreadmam · 11/08/2017 08:15

also lime i would be thinking exactly like you. It's almost self-preservation i think. I have alreafy started to think about what if something happens again next time and i aren't even pregnant yet.

I guess a mc is the lesser of two evils. I've not had time to read right through the thread but would this now be your second loss? have you tried anything different? i took baby aspirin in my last pregnancy on advice of the consultant after my stillbirth.

gingerbreadmam · 11/08/2017 08:06

wow this thread moves quick. Thank you everyone.

To the person who has had spotting - i know ive got no happy endings yet but ive got fairly far in pregnancies and have bled in all 3. The last one i spotted on and off for weeks and even had a bit more than spotting. Everytime i was scanned until the 14w one everthing looked fine.

Lime19 · 11/08/2017 07:51

I got a very bad feeling. Woke up with headache today and less sore boobs.

I am 99% sure this won't end well.

I'm almost praying it's "just a miscarriage" not an ectopic. How shit is that... when you hope for something that's also terrible.

I've almost decided in my head that I'm done with trying after this. I can't cope anymore. My son will be an only child and that is fine for us!

Smurf123 · 11/08/2017 07:43

Grumpy have a great holiday!!
Lime good luck for today, will be thinking of you! Flowers
Hfh this time around for me I got a 1-2 on clear blue digital and 6 days later when I tested again I got 3+ - so missed the 2-3.. Think it also depends whether you used fmu both times but I'd take it as a positive thing as others have said! Congrats keeping my fingers crossed this is a sticky one for you!!

dudemeister76 · 11/08/2017 06:49

HFH I can't help but feel a bit excited for you!!! I'm kind of in the same boat. Miscarried on 2nd July and now on cd41 with no sign of AF. I'm too scared to test though!! Presumably if you've had the bfn there isn't any retained tissue. I'd test again then call your GP. I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you X

Lime I'm so sorry this is such a stressful time for you.❤️ Hope you get some answers today.
