Come one, come all, new and old, no-one wants to be here, but at least we're glad we've got each other :) Flowers

Hope your stay here is short.

Now, some BFPs if you please and BFNs for those who are waiting for them too!

Thanks a mil for that lisa so sounds like just my own ignorance then! Phew! Have been using glow and it says I'm not due to ov for another 8 days so I guess that's why I was panicking. Have installed ff instead so let's see if that's better!

Also missamy reread my post and it sounds very brusque, sorry about that, and so sorry you find yourself here!

Sending you hugs em and best of luck with the job hunt!

emwithme · 12/08/2017 16:37

lime I hope things go well for you.

Forever good wishes that this is a sticky one

As for me? ERPC was two weeks yesterday, got a BFN a week yesterday and properly stopped bleeding a week ago today (it was more like spotting on the last couple of days). I am 90% sure I'm ovulating at the moment (copious amounts of EWCM and an all encompassing desire for chocolate) so my body seems to be doing what it's meant to now. DH and I are holding off TTC for at least this cycle, and possibly one more, so I can get my head around things. In my head I should be 7 months' pregnant now (first MC was in March, original due date was 12/10) so it's a bit of a shit that I'm not, and I'm also not nearly 4 months pregnant and all I want right now is a big bag of giant buttons AF to turn up so I can get it over and done with.

I have also decided that I need to change my job; part of my unhappiness at going back was that I really wasn't happy in my job, I was literally only still there because I was pregnant and counting down the days to maternity leave (from as soon as I got the BFP the first time). So I am actively seeking new work and won't be actually going back to the last place I worked at (have negotiated with the boss to not work notice, taking holiday etc to cover it to the end of the month). We have enough in savings to cover a couple of months out, and then we'll see what's going on there. I feel so much happier in myself since I've made that decision - and have had two interviews this week so things are looking good on that front.

LisaSimpsonsbff · 12/08/2017 14:47

It's normal to get three or four days of flashing face before a static one - and then you would normally ovulate the day after flashing face.

Sorry, just realised I made a confusing mistake here - that should read:

'It's normal to get three or four days of flashing face before a static one - and then you would normally ovulate the day after static face.'

LisaSimpsonsbff · 12/08/2017 14:47

Sorry about your loss, amy. I've always miscarried between five and seven weeks and have found each time that my ovulation/period has been only a few days late (counting the first day of bleeding as cd1), but I know it is different from person to person.

LisaSimpsonsbff · 12/08/2017 14:45

Thought definitely nothing to panic about! When do you think you 'normally' ovulate? It's normal to get three or four days of flashing face before a static one - and then you would normally ovulate the day after flashing face. So if you're CD9, then if you follow that pattern you might ovulate on CD14, which wouldn't be unusually early at all (it would be exactly average!). The very earliest you can ovulate now (if you get a static tomorrow) is CD11, which is earlier than average but in no way a case for concern.

missamy94 · 12/08/2017 14:07

I went to the epu on 7th August they did blood test for HCG which came back below 5 so told not to do a test again, thank you I will just wait af to make an appearance

ThoughtAboutThisTooMuch · 12/08/2017 13:53

yellow from what I've read I recon most people on here totally get the 'analysing every tweak' thing. I definitely yo-yo between ridiculously pessimistic to ridiculously hopeful most days weeks :)

missamy have you been to an epu yet?** Took about 5-6 weeks after my mcs for af to come back for me, but yeah, everyone is different.

So this morning I've did an CB OPK (first month using them) and already got a flashyface 'high fertility' thing. I'm only on CD9. So either

  1. Test is broken
  2. Body is broken
  3. Ovulating really early or
  4. I just don't understand anything about fertility tracking
(It's probably a combo of all) So of course I starting googling 'early ovulation' and now I'm freaking out. Does anyone have any advice? Is this something I should be worried about/get checked out?
StepAwayFromGoogle · 12/08/2017 12:09

Grumpy, fingers crossed, keep us posted.

missamy, every time my period came back four weeks after I finished bleeding but it varies massively person to person. Best of luck x

TheGrumpySquirrel · 12/08/2017 08:50

Boobs much more normal this morning. Oh well! I'm on a beautiful Mediterranean island with my DH and DD ♥️ got to be grateful for that!

missamy94 · 12/08/2017 08:04

Hello quick question please, I MC on 29th July and I was 5 week 5 days pregnant, only bled lightly for 2 days, does anyone know how long it will take for my period to come back please? Me and my other half have already started ttc again

yellowfrontdoor · 12/08/2017 07:34

Forever we're all keeping our fingers crossed too!

Grumpy you're showing amazing restraint there, good luck for Monday. Keep us updated nosey 🍀

Can I join any hopeful twats out there. I'm the biggest HT emphasis on twat! out there right now.
I have no idea when I ov but I have painful sore nipples & twingey tummy cramps; like mild period pain. I'm either gearing up for AF although typically AF is a 4-day headache & back pain or..... or I need to poas. If I start getting joint pains I'll definitely need to poas. I think I'll check next weekend or even the one after, if I've not come on.
I feel like such an idiot even typing it out, but I have no one in RL I want to say it out loud to! Hoping fellow HT will understand Confused

ForeverHopeful21 · 12/08/2017 07:09

I've been wide awake since 4am with the worst headache, which I think is due to tension after my faint positive yesterday.
I couldn't wait any longer so got up and did another test and it's definitely positive. I still have no other symptoms. I'm in shock as it's been over 3 years of heartache.

As some of you already know I had surgery to remove an ovarian cyst in June so I'm sure that's what helped. But I did also change a few things over the past 2 months:

  • I started taking Omega 3 as well as my usual Pregnacare vitamins.
  • We went all out and dtd every day for 5 days in fertile window which included day of ovulation.
  • I changed as much of my diet as I could to organic - this was mainly to help with my endometriosis but is something I'm going to continue.

I just hope this one is a sticky one!!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 12/08/2017 00:22

Suddenly actually terrified - boobs are now huge and squishy just like my pregnant boobs. I think a BFP is going to make me really anxious, argh. Not testing ever until Monday, so got two days of ignorance to enjoy! Woken up in a panic because it's hot and I'm not at home. It always takes a few days for me to calm down from London too. Beach tomorrow! 👍🏼

summerfruitsquash · 11/08/2017 20:09

emvy I know how you feel, you won't be happy until you have that baby happily snuggled in your arms. I know it's easier said than done but try to take your mind off it for a while and have a break.

.

Lime that's good news. Again it's easier said, but try to have a break from it all and distract yourself.

summerfruitsquash · 11/08/2017 20:00

HFH and Forever congratulations! This thread is definitely on a roll!

.
.
grumpy have a lovely holiday, bring some sun back with you, the weather is miserable!

.

No AF yet today, despite being due, and no symptoms other than being very highly strung. Highly unlikely to be pregnant, we've only DTD once this cycle and are not actively trying so OH still withdrawing. Unless I ovulated late and OH wasn't quick enough. Also on cycle 2 post-mc so could still be irregular.

StepAwayFromGoogle · 11/08/2017 19:18

emvy, it's self preservation. Between us and the counsellor hopefully you'll start to feel a bit better. Hugs.

weasledee, that sounds absolutely horrendous. I'm so sorry. You're welcome here but I wish you didn't have to be x

emvy · 11/08/2017 15:35

Lime, what relieving news - and it IS! I understand you're still unsure, we'd all be exactly the same if it were us, but a good suggestion to go out and get some positive vibes going and distract yourself a bit. I'm feeling positive for you Smile let us know what the nurse says x

HFH and Forever - congratulations!! HFH, don't worry about the CB digital, as others have said. Mine said 2-3 and I'm pretty sure I should be more than that but trying not to stress as I didn't take with fmu. Cling on to that happiness with 2 positives for sure!

Forever, that's definitely a line! No laughing need at all! These men have no idea what line eyes us women have!

Grumpy, enjoy your holiday!

NoCats - glad you're in a more positive headspace.

Welcome weasledee, so sorry for your loss that must have been so difficult. I hope you find some comfort here x

So, I've just spent a good number of hours at soft play with my goddaughter. It's safe to say, I honestly don't know how those of you with DC do it (said in a way with utmost respect and sincerity). I honestly had to choke back several bucket loads of sobs and ignore the constant reminder of what I didn't have, particularly those with nice round bumps or very little ones. I can't help but feel resigned this pregnancy will end one way or another, whether that be as a natural mc or a mmc diagnosed at 12 weeks. I guess it could be self preservation. I hope it's self preservation.

In more positive news, I got my counselling session scheduled for Wednesday morning so pleased I get to start offloading on them! My OH unfortunately isn't being very supportive of it which is a shame.

LisaSimpsonsbff · 11/08/2017 13:33

SO pleased to hear better news for you lime

NoCatsHere · 11/08/2017 13:32

HFH congrats, sounds good to me. and like others have said, don't trust the weeks on the diggie, they are not 100% accurate.

grumpy i have it all crossed for you, have a wonderful holiday and enjoy the sunshine!

Forever no laughing here, cheering!! that looks like a line to me, hopeful for a stronger one for you tomorrow?!

lime sounding good to me, think the positive spin on this is a good plan, enjoy that sunshine and walk and hopefully you'll get more info soon.

NoCatsHere · 11/08/2017 13:16

Wowzers! You lot are chatty - i'm going to read back now and catch up. So its cd1, AF is here. I've gone from feeling insanely negative 3 days ago to feeling better, a new cycle and month to start on. Disappointed I think my fertile time will be when I'm away but hey ho. ISWTE is on its way and going to get some extra vits this month. Also come to the conclusion that I'd really just like a third baby, and yes it would have been PERFECT to have one next month with 3 years between 2 and 3 but that's not going to happen now so who cares if I have another larger age gap, it'll be all good in the end. Also pretty excited i got to try my new moon cup out as well, oh the joys that AF brings!!!

BertieBotts · 11/08/2017 12:36

On the B3 stuff, I don't think they are far enough in the research to know how much to recommend or in what firm, so if you do take it just do it with a pinch of salt kind of mindset and as much as you personally feel comfortable. It could take years for proper guidance to come from this so we can either take it on in the vein of it being rumour, or pretend we know nothing for now.

INeedABiggerBoat · 11/08/2017 11:40

Lime the over-doubling of HCG is really good. When I had my MC my HCG levels were going up but not doubling, which is why the doctors were worried it might be ectopic. If they'd been doubling like yours I don't think they'd have been worried at all, about ectopic OR MC.

And high progesterone is a good thing too. I had a PG level of 9 when I MC-ed - Drs told me I probably needed 30 or so for it to be a viable pregnancy, so I'm rather jealous of your 65 - can only be a good thing.

Like others said, try to reframe your thoughts a little if you possibly can. (Wish I could take my own advice - I am constantly telling myself I'm losing this one for no real reason.) I know it's 'easier' somehow to prepare yourself for heartbreak but those results sound positive.

yellowfrontdoor · 11/08/2017 11:12

Lime so pleased it's looking better!

Forever I can def see a line!! Yay!!

BertieBotts · 11/08/2017 10:54

Ooh pleased for you Lime and Forever. Yes try not to overthink (hahahaha) - today, you are pregnant. Doubling sounds really positive. No visible sac very normal pre 5 weeks. Fingers crossed.
