TTC After MC 12: Hopeful Twats and Emotional Wrecks welcome!

Just did an ic and it's very visible. That's with evening wee. Yikes! I'm so so so scared of twins again.

Dh is currently binge eating crisps and feeling very anxious. I feel a teeny bit crampy. And just incredibly scared.

Turquoise, your cycles sound like mine. I have a 25 day cycle and I either ovulate on day 11 or 16 and have a short luteal phase. I've not figured out which yet. Temping is great if you can get a good consistent line.

turquiose I'm no expert and don't temp. I only rely on opk. However according to my basic charts on FF it seems my lp is 14 days. But I seem to normally ov on day 13 but as late as 16 as well.

Gah I was looking forward to using the one FRER in the bathroom cupboard- I thought I'd be testing around CD28 which is this Friday.

My cycles have been at least 28 days over the last few months and I have got my hopes up every single time.

Not quite sure what to do next- I've now got "Taking charge of your fertility" which I got off Amazon. I've now started temping again after doing it between September and November last year before getting fed up.

From what I've read of the fertility book- the whole temping thing really does make sense and you get a real sign that ovulation has indeed actually happened. As opposed to endless OPKs which can show an ovulation surge, but you may not even ovulate!

Anyhow, just got an Amazon order of OPKs & pregnancy tests.
Just need to keep going with it all.
Depressing.

And hoping I'll be able to have a baby before I hit 40 next summer...I was 37 the last time I was pregnant, that was last spring!

Maybe I'll go wild and buy some more ubiquinol?!

elk I'm also 5dpo and cd19. So I'm with you going potty. Although now feel totally legit in wanting to test on cd22 like lime!!!

So I've been temping for the last 7 days or so, and got a temperature drop yesterday which I wasn't expecting...this in a way helped me "accept" that AF was arriving, even though I was super annoyed.

I'm confused now.
Is it your luteal phase that generally stays the same length (give or take a day) each month?

This means I must have ovulated super early this cycle e.g. CD11 or something?

I've always seemed to get positive OPKs/CB opks around CD14/15/16 and we last conceived after having sex once on CD14 (this was March last year!)

And as for me, I continue to be a proper HT

A couple of days ago, on CD24 I got brown spotting which of course got me excited, thinking about that fabled implantation bleed that I'd never even heard of until I started coming on here a year ago.

CD25 and it was pink spotting.
Then this morning...full blown AF!!

So angry, my cycles are usually 28-30 days and I only spot the day before.
Last month was cycle was 31 days so I don't know why it's 25 this month?!

Also I've started temping again over the last week

Yep. I'm with you. Dpo 5 and going potty now. Had been so chilled out. We fly on Friday, hoping it will be distracting.

I'm officially in TWW from tomorrow. I hate it more than AF. Because you can't do anything but wait, and you can't get on with your life either. I'm always very happy and relaxed cd2-12ish (Cd1 is pure pain).

I go on holiday in 8 days 👍🏼

I had a big staff meeting at work this week. Lots of pregnant ladies means tons of baby talk. Went home and cried. I feel like it's not getting any easier.

HFH I hope it was just a crap test and you get a positive maybe if you try later this week? For me I never seem to get symptoms so it's never a sign I'm pregnant.

So sorry Blissful. Know just how you feel - my parents were busy telling me all about the collection of second cousins all due around my EDD next year just at the point we had to tell them we had MC'd (they had been out of the country when we found out and didn't want to tell them until nearer 12 weeks...)

I caved this morning and took a Tesco cheap test and didn't even get a control line! This is why I normally spend a fortune on CBD. Given that I got a BFN when I was pregnant at this point last time I'm not sure why I even bothered and wasn't going to waste it on another test - should have waited until Friday as planned. The nausea has eased at little since I switched to plain folic acid but not gone away completely. Plus my boobs feel like they are getting bigger and I am still getting abdominal twinges and tweaks - the kind that I have got the last two times I implanted (chemical and MC) rather than pre-AF pains to remaining relatively optimistic today but who knows.

@dannielleDKEA I'm not sure - test in a few days? Might be worth starting a separate thread in conception. This is a thread for ttc after miscarriage.

Blissful that is so tough. Have a cry but I hope the migraine doesn't come to fruition.

SJ afternoon is supposed to be a more accurate result than morning for opks so I'd say definitely make the most of the next couple of days if you can.

Water that is outrageous. There should be a way of notifying all services when you have a mc. I would text STOP but also contact the hospital.

@SJ88 the bottom one is definitely positive. Keep doing them 2x per day until the line starts to fade to less dark than the control line. Expect to ovulate tomorrow I think

@Blissfulignorance I hate baby bombs - the ones like that are the worst, those and family ones. My SIL & cousins are both expecting girls before xmas and found out just as I lost my baby. Was a massive kick in the teeth - I'm trying to be happy for them but it's very hard!

So another bloody flashing smiley this morning!! FFS!! I caved and bought some amazon cheapys on prime yesterday and the came today - was a definite negative this morning but think it might have just been positive but I'm not sure because I've never used them before... the top one is this morning and bottom this afternoon? What do you guys think? Not as exciting as a bfp I'm afraid but trying to get used to all this stuff so I can track cycles on Ovia lol x

I'm having the shittest day. Another baby bomb. A girl who really shouldn't be getting pregnant. Drug abuse, bad marriage. Financially crap. Life is so effing unfair sometimes.

Just home from my scan and everything looks good for now.. Measuring 6weeks 3days with a heartrate of 140.. Midwife thought all looked good.. So all not out of the woods but hopeful!
