Come one, come all, new and old, no-one wants to be here, but at least we're glad we've got each other :) Flowers

Hope your stay here is short.

Now, some BFPs if you please and BFNs for those who are waiting for them too!

Stuck this is fab news! Yay!

Since I'm not pregnant I'm going to go drink a pint of gin, do a bungee jump, smoke 20 fags and eat a whole pack of cheese and pate.

I'm no closer to knowing what's going on. A) I'm a freak that still has hormone left from mc b) it's a chemical c) I'm pregnant

NoCatsHere · 03/08/2017 17:15

Welcome hula and like anne says this is a great place to be. I can be a total nut job here and talk about anything so then appear completely sane to DH Grin

emvy · 03/08/2017 17:05

Welcome Hula, so sorry you're here but you're in good hands x

Thanks nocats, that seems like the most sensible option, I'll do that. The thing with the early testing is that I have a feeling this isn't a real cycle and have doubts that my last "af" actually was af. It was only cycle 1 after second mc though so the weird af and ridiculous cycle/symptoms are probably much more likely to be from that!

NoCatsHere · 03/08/2017 16:47

emvy waves at fellow cd20 person! Ok so I'm the opposite and love to pee on things. I guess you could test and see what the result is but it may also be too early or just go to the doctors and say you could be pregnant but it's too early to know and then get the type of Anti-B that are ok to have whilst pregnant. I know there is some as I took some when I was about 10 weeks with ds1.

AnneLovesGilbert · 03/08/2017 16:41

Lime what the actual fuck? A line is a bloody line, as everyone bloody well knows. What a total twat.

So she's sent you away for what, 3 weeks?! Is there someone else you can see? My surgery has loads of doctor's and I wouldn't hesitate to see someone else if I saw a one as dickish as yours today. I'm fuming.

You're pregnant. I love the way Mouse put it. You have a hormone in your blood, which is only caused by pregnancy, and it's showing up on a pee stick. I'd get a digi with the weeks on and see what that shows. I've found those take a couple more days than a frer, so maybe give it 48 hours. You don't know how far along you are do you? Crossing everything for you, so hard, that you get a big fat digi result and can find a more sensible GP to talk to.

I'm ovulating today I think. CD13, epic ewcm, can smell everything (got this with first pregnancy last year and it keeps coming back, lie the shittest super power) and stabbing in my right ovary area ALL DAY. Apparently it only hurts for a couple of minutes according to the science but it's definitely there and I have no appendix!

Rushing home to jump DH.

I love you lot. Thanks for being here.

Ooh, Bertie, has DH had his tests? You had me in stitches the other night with thoughts go him running to you on his broken foot. Poor thing. But who says romance is dead?! Grin

AnneLovesGilbert · 03/08/2017 16:35

me neither smurf Grin What wonderful news stuck, I don't pray as such but I'm keeping you and your fighter of a bean in my thoughts with every wish for a slightly less eventful next 7 months for you both.

Sorry for your loss hula, you're among friends here. No TMI and soooooo much humour and support and understanding. DH is the best but there's nothing which compares to this place for somewhere to let it all out, whatever you're going through.

Hulaballoo · 03/08/2017 16:29

Oh have 2dd one is 9 other 6 😁

Smurf123 · 03/08/2017 16:29

Stuck I am so so pleased for you Smile promise I shed no tears reading your post wishing you all the very best. Rest well and take it easy Smile

Hulaballoo · 03/08/2017 16:28

Hello... I'm tentatively joining...Mmc in December at 11 weeks- had D&c dh only just ready for another go. I was willing a while but had thought dh was a definite no so now it's a yes I'm a little tentative... Later period this month .. Cycle a bit weird and I'm paranoid but willing to try.... Dh said I got a bit too anxious last time... Obsessing over what to eat and exercise all three time...I agree I do need to relax more so n I'm here for tips and support... 😁

emvy · 03/08/2017 16:27

Wait, another message, stuck! Amazing news! So so so pleased for you. What a relief! Look after yourself, take it easy, keep us updated!

NoCatsHere · 03/08/2017 16:26

stuck that is just wonderful news! What lovely people. Please don't go far and keep us posted, all the happy news really does make me feel so much better. It gives me hope. X

emvy · 03/08/2017 16:25

Sorry for the very hurried message before, the pure anger of lime's gp experience made me post in panic!

To all those stressing about cycle lengths and when things are happening - I hear ya! I'm now cd 20 but have had no other ovulation signs. I still have all the symptoms and have been so good just ignoring it all and not testing because I've been busy. However, now all my busyness has slowed and I'm back to HT phase. I also still have terrible cystitis and it's now been four days. I'm going to give the gp a call to ask for some antibiotics but I'm torn whether to test first or not? I wouldn't usually test on cd 20, but for those following this month's stress, I'm not entirely sure I am on cd 20 and have all these bloody symptoms. Would it matter if I was put on antibiotics and was pregnant? (In a totally ideal situation of course, even writing it I feel like such a bloody idiot). And those that have also got to know me, know how I actually don't like poas and like to leave it until a date I have assigned myself a week after af would be due. Which is why I'm hesitating. Advice welcome! Smile

Stuckinstressville · 03/08/2017 16:18

Lime a line is a line is a line. They don't show up if there is no hcg present. Fuckwits.

Stuckinstressville · 03/08/2017 16:17

Rmc appt was with the clinic owner prof mayonda and he was great. He didn't think the pregnancy could have coped with the amount of bleeds that a&e reported so wanted me to go to epu tomrrrow
For a scan. If in the small chance it is viable still , he gave me a prescription for pred( steroid) and progesterone but if I had miscarried like he thought to not take it .

So emerged from clinic all sad and went to find out when to start queuing for epu from the lovely receptionist who knows me
Well from 3 mc and last week , queued 3 hours last week and it is only
Open 8.30 to 11. Also there was the head of the unit who had looked after us each time and she said ... you cannot wait for this - too much worry! Will scan you right now! So did! How amazing was she! And she was thrilled to see a little wriggly bean with a clear head and rump and heartbeat still growing! 8 weeks tomorrow. So can take the drugs and keep positive. Still have a huuuuuuuge clot / haematoma which she said is not likely to impact the baby but will
Likely come away and I will bleed heavily but to keep positive. Am sooooo happy ! Been a looooong journey! Back there in 2 weeks or before if I feel worried :Winkbeen told to go as much as I need.

Wooo! Back to clinic in a month for checkup. Now to chase midwives to book in!

And breatheeeeee.

NoCatsHere · 03/08/2017 16:15

Ok just went back a few pages to relook at it lime and I can defo see it. It's faint, I'll give her that but defo there. Ok sit tight, wait a few days to when your period would have been and test again. EVERYTHING crossed for you though. Xx

emvy · 03/08/2017 16:15

I'm just catching up after a friend's wedding yesterday.

So, congratulations to cookie, and lime, because what the actual bloody hell? That is not negative. When I rang my doctor stressing about a faint test last time they say, "well did you read the instructions because usually a line is a positive, regardless of how dark it is." And NO test instructions say it needs to be as dark! I'd be FURIOUS! And an absolute bloody mess. You poor thing!! I really feel for you. Have you taken another since?

So so sorry to see mulder back on here Sad gutted for you x

NoCatsHere · 03/08/2017 16:13

Lime! WTF? A line is a bloody line, everyone knows that. It's not a bloody opk. Ok so you wait a few days and pee on a digital one? I really hope all is ok, we all saw it, and we are honest, if I couldn't see it I'd have said.

Lime19 · 03/08/2017 15:43

Another wonderful example of the NHS yet again Hmm a continuation of the great care I've had during my mc.

Lime19 · 03/08/2017 15:41

Oh ladies, I've just been to the drs to ask all my questions. I showed them my test and she said "it's negative" it needs to be as dark as control!

What the hell! What a load of crap if ever I heard it. They did one in Drs and said no line so not pregnant. Wait til Aug 20 and they might run bloods!

I'm so shocked! Isn't a line a line?! Doesn't the dr read mumsnet?!

And if I'm not pregnant... my op was at the end of May so I've clearly got something wrong if I'm still testing positive?

hotcookie · 03/08/2017 14:39

mouse Period should have arrived today-always come on overnight. I'm not going to test again until saturday, when I might use the same internet cheapy to see if it's darker!
But thank you-I am TRYING not to worry, but it's bloody hard...

MouseLove · 03/08/2017 14:26

Step away nope I only take folic acid and vitamin d but I'm hyperthyroid and take medication for that also. I have my specialist appointment in an hour so I'm going to ask some questions. I'll let you know if he recommends anything that might help you also.

Stuck good luck!!

Cookie save your FRER for after af now. You being worried won't change the outcome so you may as well enjoy, you're pregnant until someone tells you otherwise or hands you a baby. Congratulations.

hotcookie · 03/08/2017 13:42

I've ordered FRERs from amazon, so will do one Saturday. I'm just so much in shock and really worried it will turn out to be a chemical.
I work a job with significant hazards for pregnant people but haven't told my boss yet, as it hasn't sunk in (and I haven't even seen my DH yet, just sent him pictures via Telegram 😱
Last time I was in shock and a bit excited, this time I also have significant anxiety as well...
I totally didn't expect the line, thought I was being a HT but felt rubbish yesterday with sore boobs so thought I'd poas this morning!

NoCatsHere · 03/08/2017 13:12

Stuck I'm sure they won't be cross. These things happen and you want a baby so much I'm sure this has happened before. Good luck today.

Sound the HT klaxon!!! cd 20 and 6dpo and feel I might have a bit more cm in pants than normal. Probably will do a pregnancy test tomorrow. I have some ic to curb my urge to pee on stuff.... we shall see. It's infectious all this bfp talk!

Mouselove, are you taking anything for short luteal phase? Has started to worry me that's what might be up with sudden 24 day cycles the last two months.I'm on 50mg B6 a day anyway (to try to limit HG if I do get pregnant again) which I understand can help but I've heard agnus castus is good too? Not sure if I am overthinking things...
