Come one, come all, new and old, no-one wants to be here, but at least we're glad we've got each other :) Flowers

Hope your stay here is short.

Now, some BFPs if you please and BFNs for those who are waiting for them too!

I agree so much with emvy and the others. Please stick around. Your bfp do feel different, we are all so rooting for you so please let us know you are ok and getting along well.
Getting my hopes up with a little but more cm in pants than normal, will do a test inthe morning. I'm mad at only cd21 but hey ho!!

emvy · 03/08/2017 22:00

Definitely stick around stuck! Ha. Don't feel you need to go anywhere at all until you're ready. There's something a little different about bfp's from you ladies - please don't feel that you're upsetting people by staying. Bfp's from here give nothing but hope 💕

Stuckinstressville · 03/08/2017 21:44

I said this to the Nov 2015 birth group I joined for my ds who have been amazing but I feel like the worst drama llama!

Thank you ladies! Will hang about then Grinand peek at that other group

MsJuniper · 03/08/2017 21:42

Stuck there is a thread in pregnancy called "staying posifrickentive" - I have cautiously poked my head round the door but staying until a scan.

Ineed I just wrote you a long reply and the app crashed, but suffice to say I am having all the same worries, and also have the same dates as you (AF makes me 6+3, opk makes me 4+6).

TheGrumpySquirrel · 03/08/2017 21:39

I think there is also a group called something like "staying posifrickingtive - preg after MC"

TheGrumpySquirrel · 03/08/2017 21:39

Stuck, I for one, would be sad if you left! You've given us all hope! Feel free to stick around as long as you like.. we also understand the anxiety which most of the innocent lot on the preg threads (luckily) do not x

Stuckinstressville · 03/08/2017 21:35

Not that I want to leave you but am not sure me being 8 weeks and here is appropriate and I do not want to upset people. Is there a place to graduate? I joined the march group but feel I am doom and gloom with all the first timers and those who have not been here are all.. don't worry etc

Where do we go?

hotcookie · 03/08/2017 21:16

stuck that's wonderful news

Lime I agree-horrific behaviour from GP.

I'm shattered so off to bed soon.

TheGrumpySquirrel · 03/08/2017 21:15

7 days till I go on holiday. Only 4 of them at work 👍🏼 shall I test the morning we leave, at 9dpo? It's so tempting

TheGrumpySquirrel · 03/08/2017 21:13

Wow congrats stuck how amazing! What a little fighter! Also congrats to you smurf and cookie amazing news

Lime I'm just Shock at your GP are they thick or what? Lovely line progression there! Really hopeful for you!

CD16 here. 1 dpo! Aaargh. Went on a shopping spree tonight after work. DH and I argued this morning so no DTD but we have the last 3 days. It's possible that today is ov and I've been having pains so v annoyed we missed this morning - may try tonight but I think he's still at work right now.

Hulaballoo · 03/08/2017 21:01

I need I could have written that myself... I'm constantly checking when I'm pg, progesterone was one of my bug bears... Then I worried about getting it my diet etc... Then it's round in circles... At least you can let it out here 😁 no advice I'm afraid as id be the same ... All I can say is try to find something to distract.. binge Netflix? 😳

Stuckinstressville · 03/08/2017 20:34

I need all those thoughts are totally
Normal for someone who is pg... which today you are!!! In my Humble
Experience the only lead I had for any mc
Was .... heavy bleed for the mc and then nonsymptoms at all for mmc 1 , for mmc2 i
Had the full suite of symptoms.

This pregnancy - boobs painful then not, painful .... .then not. Sickness pretty bloody awful then not... and repeat. Not sure at that early a scan can see anything .... give it two weeks! Um . Oh and eat some CakeBiscuit and breathe. I know from experience that being told to be positive is like someone telling me to change my eye colour at will... but can offer unMN hugs x

Smurf123 · 03/08/2017 20:26

Congrats lime that's definite line progression in your photos and the digital proves without a doubt. Sorry your gp was rubbish!!
Ineed I think they will initially go by date of mc as a baseline but will change it from scans.. I had a scan last week at 5w3d from last af scan showed sac and very very tiny fetal pole that was too small to even take a measurement.. I went back yesterday and scan showed us much more and the little heartbeat beating away.. Measuring 6weeks 3days. We were told 5 weeks was a bit early to see much.
Like you I'm constantly going to the bathroom to check as it is terrifying but I'm trying to relax and song others here with the same worries helps a little bit, although I wouldn't wish it on anyone.
I'm trying to remind myself that the best thing I can Do is stay calm and rest lots
I have the sore boobs too and the feeling of car sick both come and go... Yesterday the midwife asked me do you feel pregnant.... Part of.me really wanted to ask.. What does feeling pregnant feel like?.. I replied I feel car sick off and on she seemed happy with that.
Here for you if you want to talk... I find talking on here much easier than talking about my worries in real life.

emvy · 03/08/2017 20:14

*I meant cb digi not "can"!

INeedABiggerBoat · 03/08/2017 20:13

(I'm sorry for such a long post. I hope I haven't killed the thread)

emvy · 03/08/2017 20:12

Well, there we are lime - clear as day. I'd actually be going back to the surgery, taking that nice clear frer and can digi and making a complaint. Someone that has been through what you have been though does not deserve that kind of added stress to pregnancy (not that anyone does, but you know what I mean).

Ineed, feel free to get everything off your chest - it's what we're here for!! It's completely understandable that you're freaking out - only natural considering past pregnancy experiences. I think I would be dating from last mc as well as I count that bleed as cd 1. Not sure what midwives date from though! Also, if those are all symptoms of low progesterone then I think I have it too! 😂🤦🏼‍♀️

INeedABiggerBoat · 03/08/2017 19:59

Congratulations Lime and Stuck! Two VERY different experiences at the doctors today though... And Cookie too! Hope all three are sticky like Gorilla tape (yes I've been catching up on CFN threads today, can you tell?)

hula completely understand your anxiety about trying again. I wanted to wait a few months but ended up getting carried away ONCE while on holiday about 10 days after MC. Still, much easier for everyone else to tell you to 'calm down', much harder to actually do it. Maybe try to give yourself a free pass this month? As in, eat, drink etc what you want and don't test for OPK, but just see whether fun times take over at some point?

Can I also write down all the worries and anxieties I'm having right now? I know that lots of women would kill to be 5/6 weeks along and I am happy, but I'm stressing a lot about a possible second MC. Literally every trip to the loo is a massive relief when I wipe and don't see blood. If I type these questions and anxieties here then maybe I won't worry DH with them when he gets back tomorrow...

  • What if I have chronic low progesterone? I think that's why I MC-ed last time. T'internet is telling me that chronic sore boobs this early could be a sign, which I have...
  • I've been feeling a bit dizzy now and then, and a few nights ago had to lie on the floor for a minute or so to stop feeling so faint. What if this is a sign that I'm going to MC?
  • Somewhere I read that a 'heavy abdomen' could be a sign of MC. What does this even mean?!?!?! My womb feels a bit harder than usual and I'm very aware of everything happening down there, but does that mean it's heavy?!?!?!
  • All my symptoms apart from the sore boobs seem to come and go, and every time they do I convince myself it's because my hormones are dropping and I'm losing the baby.
  • The scan showed a sac but nothing else really. Is this normal at my stage or does it indicate MMC??

As you can see, I'm completely freaking out. Reading far too much online and seeing signs of MC in everything. But equally I don't want to get my hopes up because it's still early days (4+5 from conception - and that's another thing - when I look at chances of MC online do I date from conception or last MC - if the latter then I'm 6+3...???)

I'm really aware that all this worrying can't be helping the pregnancy, but I actually don't know how to stop. And then I worry even more because apparently anxiety is a common symptom of low progesterone. AAARRGGHH!!

Lime19 · 03/08/2017 19:52

Thanks all. I'm just gonna take each day at a time.

Welcome newbies. This is a great group. Very supportive and you can say anything!

Hulaballoo · 03/08/2017 19:47

Thank you for all the welcome messages 😁having re-read my post I'm surprised anyone managed to make any sense of it lol ... Only have the mumsnet app and my phone typing is pants... Congrats Lime , it's pretty hard getting a clear blue digital to show... So I'd Def take that as a positive!! 😁 I'm on CD2... period finally arrived yesterday and so now it's all go... Does anyone else change their diet when TTC? Am I being a bit OTT thinking about eating more spinach, sweet potatoes and avocado??😳

yellowfrontdoor · 03/08/2017 19:35

Lime those tests show a woman most definitely upduffed, how ridiculous of the GP!!

Stuck I'm so thrilled for you xx

Sorry for your loss Hula. You're amongst friends here x

NoCatsHere · 03/08/2017 19:30

Lime you are 100% preggo. Mega congrats, the bottom one is super dark and the diggie spells it out for your stupid doctor. Although I also would be asking to see another gp in the practise. Now go and make a bloody fuss and get all the help you damn need. You might need to hold off on that pint of gin for a bit... Wink

MsJuniper · 03/08/2017 19:18

Lime I am sorry you had that experience at the drs but glad to see your lines are nice and dark now - don't you want to storm back and wave it in his face?

I also had a slightly duff GP experience yesterday but not as bad: the RMC need a referral from my GP so I rang to arrange it and was told I'd need to see someone but no appts available so they booked me for an out of hours at another surgery. I questioned whether I'd be able to be referred by the other surgery, oh yes fine they said. Guess what?! It wasn't fine. Anyway the doctor I saw at least tried to be helpful and has sent a message back to my surgery to refer me. He took my BP which was fine. Noticeably at no point did he acknowledge that what I was requesting meant that I had been through multiple mc, no "hope it all goes well" or anything. I couldn't help thinking that in my experience a female GP would have thought of saying something!

Stuck that is amazing news and great care from your RMC staff. I am so delighted for you.

This thread keeps moving so fast! I'm struggling to keep up!

hometownunicorn · 03/08/2017 19:10

I still lurk about on this thread after my surprising bfp. Just wanted to pop in to say what the actual fuck to your doctor lime. Thats just horrendous. I think you're pregnant based on those FRER pics. And your doctor is an idiot. Congrats!

And congrats to the other BFPs (i've seen a couple but I can't remember who). Hope you all have very smooth pregnancies.

AnneLovesGilbert · 03/08/2017 18:46

lime my love you are incredibly knocked up. Congratulations xxxxx

Lime19 · 03/08/2017 18:41

Did more tests. Bottom frer is from 10 mins ago. As is the digi. I think it's darker than yesterday's tests (top 2)
