Actually I think I was already aware of it. Am just clutching at straws now. Should just breed creatures instead of fixating on human babies.

So, anybody know how to rejig ovulation dates without using artificial hormones?

No reason...

seaside72 · 28/03/2007 23:12

Oh - sorry duchesse for introducing the theory - we can always try the other even freakier scenario that you are fertile twice in the cycle

seaside72 · 28/03/2007 23:11

IKWYM duchesses - my best hope was last spring and have been TTC since then -still no BFP - rubbish!!

duchesse · 28/03/2007 23:10

Am depressed now, cos have realised that the pregnancy that miscarried in Oct was conceived in accordance with that theory. So defo not going to get pregnant again for years... Unless I can rejig my ovulation date...

duchesse · 28/03/2007 23:07

Ogod, if that phase of the moon theory is true, I'm not likely to get pregnant until about 2009, by which time my eggs will be fried anyway. Cheers! Am sure that at some time in the last nearly four years the celestial bodies must have been all lined up for me...

seaside72 · 28/03/2007 22:54

Can you imagine if I have actually got it all wrong anyway!!! ROFL - its too late for brain work isnt it!!

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 28/03/2007 22:54

I meant an ovaltine, don't worry, you haven't turned me to drink

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 28/03/2007 22:54

Right... I have to go and get a drink... I so hope that you are on here tomorrow Seaside and we will start a new thread for this lunar thing, because I clearly need the tuition Thank you for helping me. Night. x

seaside72 · 28/03/2007 22:52

OMG - yes sorry meant Full moon - I am sooo making it worse arent I - See why I never trained as a teacher!!!

seaside72 · 28/03/2007 22:51

PMSL - No, its me! - I meant Feb 12 - basically the day before bit was misleading!! Find the date nearest your bday - for you that woud be Full Moon on 12 Feb 1979 - you were born in the first quarter -but only 2 days before the full moon - and so the lunar fertility says your fertility will be best every month 2 days before new moon - does that help or am I making it worse LOL!! Sorry !!

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 28/03/2007 22:46

2 days before the full moon did you mean??

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 28/03/2007 22:45

I am completely lost... it's not your fault. I am not good with numbers

seaside72 · 28/03/2007 22:43

No but I think I gave wrong instructions (blonde!) you are in the first quarter but now I see the actual date 10 Feb - it is just 2 days before New Moon which was on April 12 - does that make sense?

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 28/03/2007 22:41

I thought I was supposed to be looking for the nearest date before my birthday?
Chuckling away to myself here.

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 28/03/2007 22:39

Oh, so did I look at that first lot of data wrong then, cos I thought that I was in the first quarter

seaside72 · 28/03/2007 22:37

LOL Ready- pretty silver moon = new moon!

seaside72 · 28/03/2007 22:36

Right - so you were born 2 days before the full moon (ahhh auspicious me thinks!!) and full moon is April 2 - Monday - so actually a bit off your OV - you can be the tester - give BDng a go on Saturday anyway - 2 days before the full moon - seems a long shot but you never know - any excuse I say.

So you want to check out the date for 2 days before the full moon every month!! another mad cap theort from seaside!

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 28/03/2007 22:35

On the 19th, when I ov'd, on that pretty chart it has a sliver of the moon, what does that mean?

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 28/03/2007 22:34

I love that it is spot on for fettle - How exciting

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 28/03/2007 22:31

Ok... I am really showing myself up here, but how do I see from the pretty charts where I should be looking??
And I ov'd on the 19th? Is that close enough?
Thanks for this seaside - I bet you wish you hadn't mentioned it now

seaside72 · 28/03/2007 22:29

OK - so waxing moon/first quarter was around 25 March 2007- just gone and you oved just before that I think - so not bad timing I would say?

Actually if you just use the first website and look at the dates for 2007 you can see it also - but the other website is prettier and you can actualy see the phases (black moon is new moon) And I realised last night that I have the moon phases in my diary also which was quite helpful!

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 28/03/2007 22:24

Night sleepy heads!! I can't go til I have worked this thing out!! Now what S??

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 28/03/2007 22:23

I was born 10feb in the year 79 (ssssh)

seaside72 · 28/03/2007 22:23

Night yum03 (sounds like the Waltons in here!)

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 28/03/2007 22:22

ok, so the nearest date before my birthdate was the 4th feb, and it was in the first quarter, waxing....
