Ready PMSL- it does look a bit like you have imaginery friends!!
Re the CB monitor - always get a High the day after the Peaks- I honestly think that is just what it is programmed to do rather than reliant on my hormones. I think it just works on the principal that you can still be fertile the day after OV.
Re the other threads - I know there is some scary stuff out there I lurk sometimes but I am way too scared to post unless there is a familiar name on the thread!!
Thanks for the info of hormonal rhinitis - v interesting! I still have a stuffed up nose at night I am sure it is probably just a cold.

rattling nice to have you back - we are getting a bit thin on the ground around here!!

MrsMc hope you are having a lovely time with your grandparents!

Iwill - I have been rubbish about the time of temp taking this month - some mornings I have been up really early and others a bit late - I think it was lottie who always said it is more about the general pattern than the individual temps!

rah Intersting blog/book! I have not seen that one!

Hate to say it girls but it has been another gorgeous day here! - not as hot as the weekend but still warm and sunny!

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 09/04/2007 14:36

Ok... I look like an idiot talking to themselves - it's just when I lost the big post, I was so - I'm being cautious - But I am a bit of a loon too

Hope everyone is having a great day! The weather seems to have gone to pot today. Raining here

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 09/04/2007 14:34

MrsMc - Don't know if you are going to get the chance to visit MN with your grandparents staying - although I think you are still working aren't you?? Anyway, if all the preamble is redundant - I hope you are having a lovely time with them. And I hope the coffee cake is good

Did you manage to get a cancellation for seeing your GP or are you just going to wait now?

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 09/04/2007 14:31

Eggs4Easter - Good to hear you are keeping busy. Not so good news about not being able to temp at the right times. Try not to worry! Just go for it when you can.
How are things with you and DP? Good I hope

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 09/04/2007 14:30

Yum - Good to hear that you have had a proper bleed - it's never TMI!! Well obviously I really hope that you catch despite the edd clashing - if baby wants to come first - they will Enjoy your break

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 09/04/2007 14:27

Rattling - Good to have you back! How was your week away? Sorry that you haven't come back with a BFP though. Drat. But good news about your 12 day LP huh!! Maybe not taking the supplements has allowed your body to find its own rhythm!? Fingers crossed for your results - will you get them tomorrow now?

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 09/04/2007 14:25

Rah - So did you start later temping part way through the cycle?? Because it is a really impressive spike. I know I said it before, but it's remaining steady up there isn't. Fingers crossed!
Did you talk to your DH about him coming home blotto??

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 09/04/2007 14:22

Seaside - I'm with you, I lurk on the other threads when TTC is quiet - it's a real eye opener at times. It's quite fierce - I do post a bit on other things, but nothing gritty - too fwightened
Been meaning to ask, and probably should do it on the Chart Spotters thread, but - I saw you got another "H" on your monitor - what's that all about??? How you feeling?

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 09/04/2007 14:18

Lottie - ¡Encantador para oír de ti! ¡Nosotros todos falta tú porciones!
Sounds like you are having a blast! I am glad that the space from DP is helping you - and I echo the others that the feeling of not being able to be without someone is the key. Ultimately you need to do what is right for you, and you alone. Think long term. Try not to be swayed by the strong desire to have a baby. I am not saying you are, but just in case.
All the best with the heart to heart. I hope that the direction you need to go becomes clear. Big hug, or should I say Abrazo grande
Take good care of yourself, and do pop in and see us when you can. Oh and wax lyrical about Spain all you like - we all really want to hear about it!!

I've been skimming through a number of threads to try to catch up - only been away a week! Sorry to see still a lack of BFP's

My last cycle was crazy - seemed to jump from a consistent 9 day luteal phase up to 12. No idea why - I stopped taking all my supplements (except folic acid). On Friday and Saturday I was convinced I was pregnant. Sunday my temp dropped, cramps started and AF arrived within an hour. Very down for a few hours in the morning, but DH persuaded me to go out for a cycle, which knackered me so much I slept all afternoon and was woken up to a fabulous roast dinner.

Tried to phone the doctor to get test results today - but of course a holiday (though I get the day off next Monday instead - weird).

Sorry I'm not quite up on what everyone else is up to, just going on about me - did I spot Lottie popping in though? Should really get started on some of the work that has piled up before coming back to catch up properly.

EasterRampantRAHbit · 09/04/2007 10:08

Sorry missed of IWill - hope you are OK sweetie... How's easter been?

EasterRampantRAHbit · 09/04/2007 10:07

Wow Lottie... great to hear from you. So glad Spain is everything you thought it would be and you are getting an opportunity to look at things. I think everyone goes through a patch of doubts, especially with what happened. Good luck with your heart to heart! Look forward to hearing from you when your at home XX

yum03 - So glad you have got a decent AF...sometimes all of that can be worrying! It will be sods law now that you are not trying to get pregnant for SIL wedding and you catch.. LOL

MrsMc - sorry to see your temp is down. Although I was bitterly disappointed I did not catch in the first cycle after losing Bertie, it is the best thing. It means they can date the pregnancy better and also your body has had a chance to repair. My consultant & doctor both tried to suggest to wait until at least a clear cycle.

Seaside - Good idea about a blog... I read a book not long ago called a girl with a one track mind... It was a true life blog that she started about always wanting sex...it became so popular that a book was produced... It was very funny and a bit

Ready - Morning, hope you are well... Duchesse sent me a mail, as I emailed her to ask if she was ok (before one of you guys said she was away) She is in France and has very limited access..but is fine and having good time.

lottie so lovely to hear from you - you have not been far from my thoughts cycle bud. I am really happy to hear that Spain is having the desired effect and that you are enjoying yourself. The me-time is vital. Yum03 is right about knowing if this is the person you cannot live without. If a relationship is meant to be it will weather the storms. I 'left' my DH for 3 months (many years ago now when I was 25) as I felt we were at a crossroads and needed to convince myself what was right. I def knew I could only do this from a distance - so I went to Australia and NZ for 3 months (just about as much distance as I could find!!!). It was a rocky time as I left giving ony 10 days notice. For the first few weeks I thought it was over but gradually he was the one I wanted to call with my phone card and we started writing to each other (email was still in its infancy - mad!!) and sort of rediscovered our friendship. I think that had I not left we would not be together today.

I am not saying it means you will be together but I do think that the it is the right way to go about figuring that out. ( Part of me can see a whirlwind spanish romance and BFP with new beau !!!) But the most important thing is that all things are possible in the space you are in right now. The doors are all open and plenty of windows too! Its breezy

Wishing you love and luck and happiness xxxxx
come back and catch up again soon - we all want to hear about Spain - why dont you start a blog??!!

yum03creameggs · 08/04/2007 23:37

Lottie - great to hear from you, you have been in all our thoughts wondering how you are getting on. Good to hear that you are enjoying working out there. I truely hope that you find what your heart is saying about your dp. I think it is true what they say about it not being : can you live WITH the person, it is: can you live WITHOUT them... I know that without my dh I would not be the same person I am now, he knocks off the rough edges off me, but loves me still and I do the same for him. I would be totally lost without him. I did not get married to him til I was 33 and I was so glad that I waited to find him. Sorry I digress,I was trying to encourage you to really know in your heart that if you have managed to forgive your dp for the hurt that he caused you last year. If you have, then you will know that he is the one for you, but if you are still hurting and don't know if you have forgiven him, then you will not know if he is for you and that doubt will be seen more clearly now you are away from him. I hope that when you see him tomorrow, that you will be able to talk heart to heart with him and help you to know the way forward with him. Come back soon and tell us more about Spain.

I am feeling more positive about NOT getting pg this month, if I clash with my edd and SIL wedding I will be in big trouble!!! I am enjoying not being tied to a thermometer each morning. But equally (although this is tmi!) I am relieved to finally this month get a proper af, not another one of these namby-pamby light, virtually non-existant ones that I have had for the last two months. The researcher in me is wondering whether my temp. would be back down to more "normal" range as a result, arggg! I will not try testing out the theory, or I will be hooked in for another month LOL!

MrsMc - sorry to see your temp come down .

OK looking at the now incredably short list - it is up to seaside and rah to give bfps now... PLEASE!

Wishing you all the best

Happy Easter everyone! It has been a beautiful day here

Ready - I think I have only ever posted a couple of times in areas other than conception!! I just sometimes lurk on the active conversations if we are quiet on TTC!!

Yum03- We'll miss you! I know what you mean about being about no 2007 baby - I feel the same - constantly seem to be living 9 months in the future. Mind you - I always prefer even numbered years

rah- glad you were spared the stock cars! I think speedway last week was a good effort!!

MrsMc - Sorry the temps are dropping - I can only imagine how hard this whole process must be but at least your body seems to be bouncing back quite quickly.

Gracie - Sorry you are feeling low - I know what you mean about knowing AF is on the way but until the fat flo sings there is still hope.

Eggs4 - hope you had a good day

Right girls - I am going to start geting stoppy if we dont get a BFP soon - we are down to a skeletal staff and its all hands to the pump. I say we all go on a BD marathon for May. We will all have LO's in 2008!

Im off to have a glass of pineapple juice !

Sending hugs all round, sounds like they are needed x

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 08/04/2007 14:11

Oh and Sea - I had a right giggle when you posted that recipe on that thread - I find MN quite cliquey outside of conception - so it was lovely to see a friendly face!!
Didn't have any double cream so couldn't make your recipe - it looks lush though! I did the one with milk that someone suggested, and it was v tasty

I took Mum and Gracie off the list... hope that's ok??

Yum - Oh honey, of course we understand your need to step back. TTC is very stressful, and sometimes MN can make things worse, others easier - the important thing is to use MN as and when you need it. We hope that you will pop in when you are on MN! We'd miss you lots otherwise
It's weird, I got really at your comment of not having a baby in 2007 - until you posted that, I hadn't thought about it like that, and I felt because I won't be either. I'm really sorry that it didn't happen as quickly for you as it did with your other children. But I hope that relaxing about it might be the key!! Take care of yourself, and your family. xx

Gracie - I am sorry to hear that you are feeling low about cycle 8... and of course we understand why you need to step away for a while. As I said to Yum, ttc is stressful and MN is a help to some, but to others, it can make things worse. We'll miss you, and hope you pop back with some wonderful news really soon! Take care xx

MrsMc - Sorry about the temp dip And the spotting, but like you say, start afresh! Fingers crossed for you

Rah - PMSL at your yippee at not going to Stockcar racing Hope you spent your evening doing something you wanted to do instead How are you feeling?? You still going with the action??

Seaside - I KNOW!! Where are these BFPs!! We really need something to boost our spirits!! I am wondering if we are all going to fall in the same month? Now wouldn't that be wonderful - all graduating together
How are you doing? Are you still telling DH that the crucial time is next week??

Eggs4Easter - Did you get plenty of eggs4easter? How you doing??

Big wave to the pregnant ones that are watching over us - could you see to it that the stork gets a wriggle on - we need some babies here!! Hope all is going well with you...

Lottie - If by some spooky coincidence you are having a peek on here!! Miss you lots, sweets!

MrsMcEasterBunny · 08/04/2007 13:19

Sorry that I have been away so long I have been really busy and only have a couple of mins now so can't catch up. Sorry to see some of you are feeling low

I'm cd39 today but my temp dropped to 36.2 and I have spotting so I think AF might be round the corner, probably a good thing to start afresh next cycle anyway!

Hope you are all ok!
