Seaside Did you dare to mention the name Charlotte Church??

Rah I need special dispensation from our pact when it comes to Charlotte Church

seaside72 · 10/04/2007 21:45

Ready aw thanks hon - {{{{hugs}}}} I do try to be optimistic but the week before AF - my black veil starts its descent - am dreading DH's results (quake) Did not watch My Name Is Earl??
Where is home Ready (I know you mut have said already sorry) DH and I are not having any abroad hols but are off up to the Outer Hebrides in May for our anniversary - have rented a cottage and are taking the dogs! (Unfortunately will be week of AF -just when we will have perfect excuse to cosy up together sods law!!)

MrsMc - you are so lovely and magnanimous- I was a bit more like Ready about Nicole K - although I do think she has been trying for years so actually not too Now- dont even mention Charlotte Church to me!! My face really will turn green!! (that white chesnut flower remedy can't come soon enough for me! ) there has been another flurry of BFPs on the April thread - I havent been on that thread this month so dont know any of them and I am afraid my first loyalty lies with my temp girls and huttees too

Iwillbe - what a nightmare about your broken windscreen - I take it DP has a bit of a temper! - Mind you Sat Nav is enough to drive anyone over the edge

city nice to cyber-see you and congrats on the job interviews fingers crossed!

greedy - thanks for popping in with a dose of hope and some premonitions!! I am sure I am not pg this month (just as I am every month ) But if I were my EDD would have been Xmas Day hehe!

I had a major wobble today as DH just accepted a great work project but will mean him being away during my OV week next month - pants - so much for my every day BD plan It is too good a commission to turn down - good trip and good £ but no BFP for another month - God it will be into June before I might get a BFP now !) arghhhh

Hpe everyone is having a good evening

Ready · 10/04/2007 20:54

Did someone turn out the light?? Is it just me on MN tonight?? Me, and my imaginary friends

Cityangel ? Good to see you here on temp buddies! Excellent news about your holiday, v !
9 job interviews!! When will you hear?? Fingers crossed for you!

Iwillbe ? A loon ? I am doing it word from now on to save myself from looking like a loon
I know what you mean about the nice weather being a mood enhancer! I always feel more cheery when the sun is shining
at your broken windscreen ? did the sat nav deserve it?
You are brave going camping!! That is one thing I will never do ? the thought of sleeping in a tent frightens the life out of me!

Rah ? Looks like Seaside sorted you out with the temp conundrum ? hope you are ok? I know you have taken your temps at a different time, but do you think it could be an implantation dip today??
So where are you going on holiday then?? I need to get excited about others holidays since ours is a trip home

Seaside ? Oh honey, hearing you say that you and your DH are down because you might not work ? just breaks my heart But I understand what you mean... Big hug. You got 3 very well timed sessions in this cycle ? and that is great! Keep your fingers crossed, I will too
Your flower remedies sound very good ? will have a look at the links when I get the chance! I am game for anything at the moment!!
ROFL at you trying to read the doctors mind about your DHs test results!! When is his appointment? Good karma with the student nurse ? well done you! Did you ever see My Name Is Earl??

MrsMc ? I hope you are right. I hope my baby is in my tummy in 2007!!!! When I read that Nicole Kidman got her BFP at 39 I just sulked? she?s 39 and pregnant ? I am 28 and Nada!
Sorry you still haven?t got your results. That is just rude. Glad your coffee cake tasted good!!

Greedy ? good to see you!! ? I would have been happy with a Christmas baby, but now that you mention it ? of course it was subconsciously planned
Lovely to hear that you are pulling some strings for us, and one or 2 will be pregnant by the end of April ? I am getting plenty of action in, just like you said

Big hello to everyone else!!

MrsMcJnr · 10/04/2007 16:46

last one out turn off the lights

greedyforbabies · 10/04/2007 16:46

my premonitions are ALWAYS right Rah!...................................................except of course i predicted mum03 would get pg in march..........................oh yes, and i predicted that ready would get pg last month..............but apart from that...........i did predict one of my RL friends was pg twice and she was both times!

greedyforbabies · 10/04/2007 16:42

mrs! i wasn't even going to tell you how many BFPs are due in May! i thought you would all get too excited! lets just say, i have arranged for a lot of them on this thread......i thought it was about time!

MrsMcJnr · 10/04/2007 16:28

Greedy - you forgot the really, really strong "not going anywhere for at least 38 week, dream of a pregnancy baby" that I'm getting at the beginning of May!

RahRah1 · 10/04/2007 16:14

You can't say that Greedy...you need to say your premonitions, are they usually right?

greedyforbabies · 10/04/2007 15:54

well ladies! i have done what i can regarding BFPs and APPARENTLY one of you is DEFINATELY going to be with child by the end of April. in fact it might even be 2 of you! obviously, i know who you are, but i don't want to dash anyone elses hopes by giving your names away!

so, keep positive, and keep SHAGGING!

MrsMcJnr · 10/04/2007 14:55

Thanks Seaside, that is exactly how I feel! AF is here with a vengeance! You were brave with the med student, I think you get lots of good karma for that. I got some yesterday I hope, long queue of ladies waiting for the loo, lady comes in with a girl about 3 who I could see was popping to go (as was I but hope I still have more control than a 3 year old) let them go in front and was positively hissed at by the rest of the queue! Fingers crossed for DH?s results.

Greedy PMSL ? Must Try Harder January is such a boring month, good to have birthdays then to brighten it up! At least with a Capricorn or Aquarian we?d know where we are as we are one of each. That said, I was due 30/1 and turned up 29/12!

Hey Citydevil that?s a lot of interviews!! fingers crossed. Holiday sounds amazing when do you go?

Hello Iwillbe ? thanks that is quite a temper your DP has! I can see you lacing his food with things now that he?s hurt your car, like that advert (can?t remember the make now!) Enjoy the camping and the al fresco

iwillbepgbydec2007 · 10/04/2007 14:08

hello!!!

glorious day here!! it puts me in such a good mood when the weather is nice.

mrsmcjnr- sorry cd1 has arrived. but i would take this as more of a positive and not a negative, because at lease now you can date your pg and your long cycle isover with so hopefully its out with the old and in with the new and a BFP in tow

ready - hello!! you are a loon posting spereately in fear of losing the post! why dont you try what mrsmc does - type it in word first and then copy and paste into mumsnet?

lottie - if you read it solovely to hear from you, you sound lovely and refreshed in your post but seems like there are rougher patches ahead with some big decisions to be made. i hope you chat with dp goes well and you both at the end of this come out happy.

seaside - how annoying about your dps sperm results. everything is rules rules rules and no common sense or practicality is thrown into the equasion! glad to hear you have good some well timed bding in this month - fingers crossed for you! someone has got to get a bfp this month this dry spell is lasting far too long!

rah - hope you have had a lovely weekend enjoying the sun!

i have had a bit of up and down weekend, dp decided to lose his temper with the sat nav on saturday and launch it at my windscreen (OF MY BRAND NEW CAR) and of course shattered the whole of the passenger side. so i did not speak to him for the rest of the day as i was very his response was "dont worry il pay for it to be repaired" i thought bloody right you will be paying for it but the point is it shouldnt have happened!

anyway we are speaking again now and went out yesterday buying some camping stuff as we are going for a camping weekend on friday - i have never been before and am stupidly excited! i have soooo much stuff to get i am never one to travel light - and im hoping to get some action in the woods too might spice things up a bit even though ov will be well over by then its all good fun...

citydevilbunny · 10/04/2007 14:03

Good plan Greedy! I haven't seen a BFP for ages who do we complain to!

Sorry I've missed everyone. I've been manic with work + 9 job interviews this month. 8 for the same 2 jobs so getting close

I am a happy bunny as we're going on holiday to America. Going to a wedding and then a week in Florida. Not sure how temping will work out! AF is also due mid way through the trip which I could well do without on the beach.

greedyforbabies · 10/04/2007 12:12

i agree with mrs..........where the hell are all the BFPs????? what is going on? i guess avoiding christmas babies was a smart move from all of you, but you can all start trying again now!

i will have a word with someone on MN and see if i can arrange for some BFPs to come your way VERY soon. i think you have all waited long enough now!

seaside72 · 10/04/2007 11:48

MrsMc Has AF started properly today? I am so sorry I know it is good and means your body is doing what it is supposed to but still a bit

rah - this is where I ordered it from and this is where I found the info - I know - I spend too much time online!!

LOL girls - just went to docs for another CD21 test and walked in to the consulting room and doc introduces me to sweet young girl (prob about 20) and asked if I minded if she did my blood test as she is studying to be a doc. I sort of winced and laughed and then he said "She has never done it before on a live person" I thought he was joking and laughed but he wasn't!! . Anyway of course I said "OK"??!! Anyway - she was very sweet and certainly not the worst blood test I have had - Maybe it will all add to the good karma count!! Also really annoying as he told me DH's semen results were back- he looked at them but couldnt tell me about them so I tried mind reading!! - he did not look too horrified - but he did not give a relaxed/relief look either?? Have to make another appointment now for DH!

MrsMcJnr · 10/04/2007 11:09

Rattling - CD3 LP10 (16th cycle)
Ready - CD9 LP12 (8th cycle)
iwillbe - CD13 LP? (10th cycle)
seaside72 - 37.0 CD20 7dpo LP12 (13th cycle)
Rahrah - CD23 DPO5 LP13(5th cycle)
MrsMc ? 36.3 CD1 LP 10-12 (10th cycle)

Hello ladies feel totally out of touch, sorry I?ve missed so much! How are you all? List seems very short these days.

Yum/Mum03 & Gracie ? I?ll miss you both but do understand. Sending you a huge hug each and lots of good wishes. Come back soon.

Yum03 ? what a lovely way to describe your relationship with your DH I know what you mean, mine completes me and nothing is quite so hard or so scary when he?s with me I am so glad I waited for him ? I was 32 when we got married last year. I nearly committed myself on a few occasions before I met him and I am so glad I held out for my ?one?. Glad to hear that it is a proper AF, that is exactly how I feel today I feel that the last 6 weeks I have been not treating my body as well as I could have, I?ve drunk and eat too much and I need to get back on track, cd1 and a new beginning helps with that

Thanks Ready ? they are still here (and it?s lovely to have them!) but I am at work so can catch up with you all today don?t be we might not see our babies in 07 but as Chooster said to me, they may well be in our tummies before the year is out!

Hey Seaside PMSL at your skeletal staff comment ? shall we man the shaft?
Joking aside, where the hell are our BPFs?! What does pineapple juice do? Other than taste yummy! Of course this month could be different to all the others; it is a numbers game after all! I really hope it is your lucky one Let us know how you get on with the remedies.

Oh Lottie how lovely to see you!! So nice to hear that you?ve been watching over us! The break from TTC and all the related stress must be doing you the world of good Sounds like me time will really help you and your relationship with DP. Dare I say it, it?ll be make or break won?t it but the decision will be yours Maybe too soon for a big heart to heart? Thinking of you a lot Glad Seaside said it before me but I was also thinking that a whirl wind romance and a Latino love child might not be too hard to imagine!

I heard that Nicole Kidman got her BFP this week at 39 we got married at the same time so I feel a ridiculous affinity!

Hello Rah ? how are you? Got that holiday booked yet? I know what you mean about not getting pg the first cycle, it is almost a relief and that is because I know I did try and that it just wasn?t meant to be. Called GP for blood results again, they still don?t have them I can see this dragging on!! Thanks for the update on Duchesse.

Take the first reading and forget the others is my advice

Hi Rattling ? sorry to hear that you had your hopes dashed I had a cycle like that in October ? I was so disappointed! Better luck this cycle

Hey Iwillbe

RahRah1 · 10/04/2007 10:21

Thanks Seaside... PMSL at bitterness & Frustration...lol - Where did you get the remedies from I think I need some

I will go with the 36.5. I had not adjusted any of my other times. Thanks for your help.

seaside72 · 10/04/2007 09:40

rah - I have been taking my temp earlier because I just seem to be waking up at 7am since the clocks changed - some mornings I have taken my temp 6 times and gotten a diff reading every time arghh- its frustrating. Were you adjusting the weekend temps? I have given up adjusting and just mark the time on FF (so get white circles to indicate not within normal time range).

If I were you I would go with 36.5 as this was normal time - then keep a note of the other temps and times in the notes section.
See what happen tomorrow and if there is a pattern or this one was just a blip - (or implantation dip??? !)

We have had our heating off since mid last week and I thought it would make a diff but it doesnt seem to - I think that the progesterone rise is not necessarily a steady slope all the time and there are peaks and dips within the general rise IYSWIM.

Re watery CM - I have it too at the moment - usually I have more creamy CM at this stage I thnk but who knows?? Maybe its the weather?

Dont worry!

I have just ordered some flower remedies to try and calm myself (LOL at me - see its another week and seaside needs a new alternative therapy to try )
Hers is what I have ordered!!:
She Oak: she oak reduces stress caused by fertility issues and improves hormonal imbalances
White Chestnut: another flower remedy helpful in getting pregnant, white chestnut reduces tension, stress and anxiety. Helpful in promoting mental health, white chestnut is particularly helpful in reducing feelings of bitterness and frustration which women who have difficulty getting pregnant often experience in their journey towards pregnancy

Particulary liked the bit about bitterness and frustration - hope it works!!

EasterRampantRAHbit · 10/04/2007 08:47

Morning guys... Need some help!

I have been getting up later and hence taking my temp later over the easter holidays. Today I was back to taking my temp at 7.30. My first 2 temp readings were 36.3 and then my next two were 36.4 and my next 2 were 36.5?????What is going on there. I then could not be bothered to get out of bed and went back to sleep until 8.30 and my temp was 36.7. Plus I have turned off my heating system since last night, so the environment is colder. What would be my temp? Plus my CM has gone really watery...which normally happens to me about 3 days prior to AF being due...think its when the egg dissolves? Do you think the egg has popped before its time , hence low temp? ARGGGG

seaside72 · 10/04/2007 08:02

Good morning everyone - scores on the doors

Rattling - CD3 LP10 (16th cycle)
Ready - CD9 LP12 (8th cycle)
iwillbe - CD13 LP? (10th cycle)
seaside72 - 37.0 CD20 7dpo LP12 (13th cycle)
Rahrah - CD23 DPO5 LP13(5th cycle)
MrsMc ? CD41/13dpo? Anov? LP 10-12 (1st cycle after MC, 9th cycle)

seaside72 · 09/04/2007 20:28

Thanks Ready. DH is good - although I think he has guessed that OV has been and gone! Although my fake laid back attitude did at least get us three well-timed sesh's so it an improvement on last month and will work up to more next month I hope!
Part of me really wants to carry on through the month but I think both of us just kind of give up.
I was looking back through my planner of 2006 the other day and was kind at how much bd we manged in the first 4 months of TTC (I had forgotten how much we did it! ) but it didn't make any difference

I think it is kind of an unconscious state of mind - I mean what other action/thing would you continue to do month after month even though it has never given you the outcome it is supposed to?? I think we both are a bit down about the fact that we don't seem to work IYKWIM?

Ready · 09/04/2007 19:49

Sea [grin at you being brave
Yep, going to use the OPKs, more out of curiousity to see if they will work this time. But going to try to do every other day and 3 days once I get a positive... fingers crossed.
Oooh Rufus Wainwright (I like his sisters music too, Martha!) and A bit of George - nice!! DH and I are going to see Rich Hall the comedian this Saturday - really looking forward to it! But when I booked the tickets, I was thinking to myself, oh I hope I am not suffering with Morning Sickness at that point - Totally jinxed myself didn't I!
Tut at you for being so pessimistic - it's not healthy you know!! I know what you mean though, the 2ww is the hardest part!! Just try to relax - you were well timed this month - speaking of which, how is your DH?

seaside72 · 09/04/2007 19:01

I just posted on a thread about a holiday cottage in Cornwall - get me being all brave!!

Things are OK with me - I am through the week of optimism and now entering the week of pessimism I think. Last week I was ridiculously hopeful - imagining all sorts of good signs, now I am being realistic and thinking why should this month be any different to the past 12. Ho hum! At this stage I just wish I could skip onto AF TBH - the last week of the 2ww is def the worst

Apart from that all is good - the sun makes all the diff!!- and have just booked tix for 2 concerts in the summer - Rufus Wainwright and George Michael! It always makes me feel better to have things to look forward to

How about you Ready - are you going to use the OPKS this month or just go for it?

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 09/04/2007 18:50

More imaginary friend posts here - for shame...

Seaside - You shouldn't not post on other threads - I'm intrigued now as to where you would be posting

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 09/04/2007 18:49

Sea Sounds like you just have a cold - as my mum would say, due to the change in weather
It's a bit weird that the monitor is just programmed to do certain things.
How are things with you?

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 09/04/2007 18:47

Seaside - It did look like I had imaginary friends didn't it!! Oh the shame
