Jumping on the crazy train for the first time... ALL ABOARD FOR THE 2WW!

Firstly I must apologise to all you mumsnetters... I've been a lurker for a while and have never understood the craziness surrounding the 2WW until today! Have literally just ovulated yesterday on our first round of TTC and I've already been symptom spotting/furiously checking and rechecking my calendar and Ovia app like a pro!

Logically I know that there is literally no chance of any symptoms yet and DEFINITELY no need to POAS for the next 10 days at least, but there's another (much louder it seems) part of me that keeps thinking that the reason I'm so bloated/gassy (seriously what is up with that?!) or keep dropping my keys/knocking everything over or these cramps are obviously due to the fact I must be pregnant 🤦🏻‍♀️.

So to stop me going completely around the bend, I thought I'd ask if anyone is due to POAS around the 21st of July? If so, do you want to wait with me? All those who have done this before, feel free to leave me tips on how not to think about this 24/7!

Thanks LMXO. I'm actually ok with it, I really didn't think it was going to happen this month, I was trying to class it as a trial. FX for next month though!

Well day 1 of cycle 2 for me. I've ordered opk and conceive plus and I'll pick up some evening primrose oil from Superdrug or Wilkos. I'll be on my holidays for at least some of the 2ww next month so that should make the time pass quicker too.

I'm not stressed actually. It's annoying but I don't feel stressed physically - just tired. Upbeat most of the time accept evenings when I feel sick and zonked. I've used clear blue test, and just some cheap plastic ones from Tesco.

I can totally sympathise with you all thats late last month was hell being 5 days late but try not to stress out about it to much and yes i know thats a stupid suggestion!! 😂

Boo, hopefully it's more exciting than a cold! Although, I don't think I've ever had an illness that made my boobs sore.
Hellsbells, I'd agree with going to the docs if it goes on much longer. I'm fed up being one day late, I can't imagine how you must be feeling.

Boo you have ALL the symptoms 😂 You poor thing! I'm also burping after literally everything I eat almost immediately it's so gross!

Sometimes stress can delay AF HellsBells have you been stressed out... silly question right?! I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for you, I want more BFP's on this thread!

Hellsbells - what brand of test are you using? If nothing over weekend id suggest going to see your doctor just for peace of mind & to see whats going on but heres hoping your get a BFP

Feeling crampy, sick, tired again after going through this last week. Got DH to pick up tests on way home from work. Still nada - no AF and BFN. AF 5 days late :/

@HolyShmoly you don't know till you know! But yes, very rude of AF.
If I'm not preg i'm poorly: nausea, sore boobs, itchy nipples, bloated, headache and burping all. The. Time. And normally not a burper at all!

I was due on today but no sign, so I bought some first response after work. If still no sign tomorrow morning I might do a test. I'm a bit conflicted cause I really don't think that I am pregnant this month but I just think it's rude that AF couldn't frigging show up on time and put the doubt out of my mind!

It's meant to help to increase cervical mucus amongst other things. Someone on this thread recommended it. You are meant to take it up until you ovulate each month and then stop.

Trying this because last month we tried a fertility gel which I think gave me a uti.

How's everyone feeling today?
I'm really impatient for Friday. I have an appointment to see nurse for bloods and I'm thinking asking her for a preg test while I'm there 🙈 not sure if they're more or less sensitive than a first response though!!

Oh HellsBells how frustrating! Hopefully you'll get an answer (BFP 🤞🤞🤞) in the next couple of days.

Boo my boobs seemed to explode overnight, I just looked in the mirror and couldn't believe my eyes! That's a good sign, let us know how your test goes!

Hellsbells i hope AF is a no show and your next test is a positive one!! But try not to stress as that could be prolonging AF if she is putting in an appearance

Boo what stage are you at? Sports bras are very comfy!!

@Hellsbells35 I've not posted much on here but read most days and reading other people going through the same is nice and reassuring 🙂 always got fingers crossed for everyone.
On that note: TMI but are anyone else's boobs ballooning? I swear I must have gone up a couple of cup sizes in the last couple of days! They're so sore I couldn't put on a proper bra this morning I had to just wear a sports bra (comfiest decision I've ever made and it might be a permanent change tbh).
