Et voila.

This Hut is more of a Bedouin or desert tent than anything too gloomy. We shall supply our our own gloom.

I should really get over to the April thread, but I can't stand the thought of the chirpiness of it at the moment.

With the March thread, I found I just couldn't be bothered with the chat and small talk.

Antisocial? Me?

beansprout · 26/03/2007 09:31

Aw, thanks Scorpio. I was just saying I didn't know anyone and now there's a friendly face. Will pop over now.

beansprout · 26/03/2007 09:30

And now I am driving myself mad on the CD1 "aha, but perhaps it is implantation bleeding" trip. FFS.

Have just looked at the list on the April thread and I don't know anyone on there, so naturally assume that everyone I chatted with months ago is now on some ante natal thread or another.

It's days like this that I couldn't face things without the Hut. Thank you, patron saint of Duchesse, for building it.

scorpio1 · 26/03/2007 09:29

beansprout and also

i know.its horrid and nasty and just not fair for you.come join us in april,we are quite nice

sideways · 26/03/2007 09:26

I don't know why beansprout - it's a bitch just doing everything right month after month after month and still not getting the results .

beansprout · 26/03/2007 08:17

Period arrived this morning. Finding it really difficult this time. Not sure I can keep pulling myself up by my bootstraps and pretending it's all going to be ok, just not this month.

Am really feeling at a loss. Why can't I just complete my family?

sideways · 25/03/2007 15:21

Any colour grapefruit juice is fine, but only one glass a day.

Good news about dp.

Soreheart · 25/03/2007 12:05

Hmm.. what time is it where you lot are? I think it's 12 might be 11. I'm not hungry yet, which is good.

Hut seems lovely this morning.

However, AF arrived on Friday, after I'd had the most roller-coster Friday. (Good news: DP has made a decision to can the drink and weed - am thrilled!) Have now purchased magnesium and B6 as per suggestions. I might have to try grapefruit juice as well. Can it be the pink type, do you think.

lissielouwithbunnyears · 24/03/2007 21:13

night hun, and if you need a chat just CAT me x

beansprout · 24/03/2007 21:11

I'm glad you have got some good feedback. It's odd how we just get on with things but then look back and wonder just how we managed!

Am off to bed. Ds still waking up every night so early nights are called for if this isn't going to turn into house of the zombies. Thanks for your reply, probably catch up with you tomorrow. Night! x

lissielouwithbunnyears · 24/03/2007 21:03

loads ta, its odd, but when i think about what happened it doesnt sound that bad. but if i talk it thru or write it down i just think......... shit, how did i cope!

i know how you feel about everyone else getting pg, even the pets are getting knocked up!

beansprout · 24/03/2007 20:56

Oh thanks Lissie, you angel person. Am just feeling stuck and fed up. Maybe it's not helped by it being Saturday night and a feeling that I am just sitting and watching everyone else get picked to play. Someone from my ante-natal thread I was on with ds, has just announced her third preg! Everyone else seems to have squeezed out the second by now and it's just not happening. And I'm sorry, as none of that compares to your situation, so maybe I've just typed myself into giving me a well needed kick up the ar$e!!!

How are you? I'm not able to comment on your letter as I'm not skilled enough in that area. Have you got some useful feedback?

lissielouwithbunnyears · 24/03/2007 20:51

im here! having a rough time honey?

beansprout · 24/03/2007 20:47

Is anyone around? Am feeling very fed up and am telling myself it must be PMT, so am making myself even more fed up. Am so, so, soooo sick of this. I just want to be put out of my misery.

beansprout · 24/03/2007 13:32

It also seems to be a list of things they did, like using different paint and pesticides, which she feels contributed to their success. From googling, it's still a bit evasive, but interestingly, I can't find any mention of it on MN. If she really had found a miracle cure, there would be a lot more information out there. It's just her personal experience with no medical backing

BeckleSpeckledEgg · 24/03/2007 13:25

well done ura21! Well seeing as I have absolutely no idea when I ov and my cycles are very very long I don't think her 'secret' would do me any good! (DH would not be happy if we only BD a couple of times every 2-3 months...)

ura21 · 24/03/2007 13:15

re the book and the secret - just google carol andrews "miracles do happen" (use the quotes) and you'll find the answer - basically seems to be hold off sex until ov, something to do with old eggs/old sperm.
I'm far too much of a cynic to believe it all though!

BeckleSpeckledEgg · 23/03/2007 22:46

sorry, am I allowed to hug in the hut?
here, have a very large bar of choc sunshine

BeckleSpeckledEgg · 23/03/2007 22:45

Sunshine, it is horrid when you get your hopes up, my early pg and AF symptoms are exactly the same these days - filled boobs, bloating and spots - so I get my hopes up all the time. We all know what it is like to suspect the best and then have our hopes dashed.

beansprout · 23/03/2007 21:43

Sunshine, I'm sorry your period arrived. I can only echo what D said. We are all here as we are finding this hard. This is not a jolly ttc thread, this is where we say just how shit it really is to be in this particular boat. I'm so sorry your hopes have come to nothing. Again.

duchesse · 23/03/2007 21:40

Sunshine, am not quite sure what you are confessing- not sharing this with us yesterday, or believing in these symptoms, and having hope. How could you not have hope when all the indications are there?

Personally hardly a month goes by without me feeling/ believing myself to be pregnant for the last two weeks of every cycle. And real or not, they all go pear-shaped at or around the time the period would have been due anyway, so the result is the same. Sometimes I've caught them on a pregnancy test, but most go unacknowledged. And as somebody (Impatience? Beansprout?) keeps reminding us, madness is doing the same thing repeatedly in the expectation of a different result. Still I keep hoping.

I think we're all pretty much in the same boat though.

Sunshinedays · 23/03/2007 21:27

I feel the need to confess.

I think you'll understand.

I also had pin pricks of red blood yesterday morning and today I had brown spotting rather than my usual af. The last and only time I got this I got a bfp for a few days then lost it. (almost exactly 9months ago) I didn't mention it because I was nervous / superstitious/ anxious.

I now have my usual af. Any of you any experience / advice. I desperately want to get beyond this stage and become the best mum I can.

BeckleSpeckledEgg · 23/03/2007 19:37

that is short sideways, you can have a few days from mine for next month if you like...(if only)

sideways · 23/03/2007 19:36

I mean...

note that the French...

sideways · 23/03/2007 19:35

Glad duchesse got to that one before me. Yes I am pretty regular (whichever meaning you want!). Although my cycle is very shprt this month, even by my standards - 22 days comapred with usual 25.

Not that the French don't say "double-entendre" .
