Et voila.

This Hut is more of a Bedouin or desert tent than anything too gloomy. We shall supply our our own gloom.

Best make my Brandy a double.

Which seaside are you from?

Chocolatedays · 30/04/2007 19:42

She goes for her scan next week - hmm - should get to see the scan just as I start injecting for IVF - the temp menopause should be kicking in nicely - I predict a riot.

Chocolatedays · 30/04/2007 19:41

OMG - hadn't even thought about organising her baby shower. I can see that coming my way too. I'm going to hope we do have the same bf - so you have you're organising it and all I have to do is bring a cake (hmmm may accidentally spill some cayenne) ...or I could make some feeble excuse why I can't attend.

seaside72 · 30/04/2007 19:31

AND asked me to organise her baby shower - sob

seaside72 · 30/04/2007 19:30

Oh wait - newsflash - she has just (since my last post) emailed me the scan pics - FFS - I am going to scream very loudly in RL

seaside72 · 30/04/2007 19:29

Do we have the same BF!!!

seaside72 · 30/04/2007 19:28

Chocolatedays - I am right there with you - just had text from my bloomingly pg BF telling me they are just about to complete on their new uber cool house and "would love to come and visit us in their brand new xxxx" ( SUV 4x4 and we are not talking a Renault Espace here - think mega luxury car) Oh and btw "my bump is growing!" - yippee - can you feel the bitterness and sarcasm!!
She did have the thoughtfulness to ask when my appointment with the consultant was and to "reassure" me not to worry as she has loads of friends who have been through IVF and have hoards of kiddies - "it will be fine - I'll just have to wait a bit longer" says she who got pg first month of TTC - ARGHHHHHHH

I hate being but it is so hard

Here - have a brandy - I am geting rather partial to it as I am using it to mix flower remedies -

Chocolatedays · 30/04/2007 18:40

Lovely Hut-mates - help, I'm feeling really low. Just seen pg bf who is looking georgeous, she has splashed out on loads of expensive clothes and is discussing her choice of family fiendly house (£800K - a snip!). I'm pleased for her but so, so jealous. I want to cry. I feel hollow. I feel so very sad. Why am I unable to get pg??

Chocolatedays · 30/04/2007 13:04

Oh Beansprout. So sorry. Thinking of you.

duchesse · 30/04/2007 09:10

Also I think we blew it this month by going away camping at the crucial time (ie this last weekend). Am giving hope the heave-ho this month. Good-oh.

beansprout · 27/04/2007 18:24

I'm in London so there are a couple of EPUs nearby but they are both closed until Monday. Would need to go to A&E. I think I will go, otherwise I will just torment myself. Still think that the faint lines don't bode well. Thanks for your support, I appreciate it. Will let you know what they say.

greedygreedyguzzler · 27/04/2007 18:19

definately ring them beansprout. you WERE pg! all those tests dont lie! i know they weren't getting much darker, which doesn't sound great, but the bleeding could mean you had a chemical pregnancy or it could be very similar to what i had and loads of other people get, so its prob worth finding out. you could still be pg and it could be all ok. so you need to find out to put your mind at rest. if you test again yourself they would stay positive for a while anyway even if you had lost the baby cos you would still have the hcg in your body, so a blood test is the only way to find out i think.
shame its a friday though, not sure how great the service will be at the hospital, but your area might be better than mine.

good luck

beansprout · 27/04/2007 18:06

Not sure what to do now. Maybe I will give them a ring.

greedygreedyguzzler · 27/04/2007 17:52

beansprout - are you sure its not just the bleeding that so many women get at the start of pg? i had horrible bleeding and clots 2 days after my bfp and it carried on for weeks, but all seems ok for me. i know others have had bleeding too and it hasn't been ok, but i would go to the EPU and find out.
i went to the EPU and they did a blood test to check my hcg levels and then i went back 2 days later to have them done again and if they have doubled they consider the pg viable.
i hope its not as bad as you think. i was convinced it was all over for me and couldn't quite believe it when it wasn't. i really hope its the same for you

feedmenow · 27/04/2007 17:10

Oh Beaney....
So sorry to have you back. When you are all out of tears come back and eat some of this chocolate-fudge-hashie with me and grab a glass for some white rum and I'll help you drown your sorrows......
