Hope everyone is well and the TWW isn't driving you too mad.

I want to track my cycle if possible, would cd1 be the day I started bleeding with the mc?

RosieRo123 · 03/07/2017 07:58

Morning all!

Cycle 3
First time ttc
First time using OPK's

I had a positive OPK on Saturday, how do I know when I've ovulated? Just any time in the two days after? Guess I'm in my tww now, eek.
Haven't dtd enough this cycle. Husband wasn't well and we fell out about me talking about fertile windows, OPK's, loose boxers and pineapple too much 🤣🤣🤣
HOWEVER we dtd on positive OPK day and the day after. Might be lucky?
Going forward I will be coming on here rather than telling the husband I have reached the fertile window 🙄 Anyone else have this trouble with their men? NB he really wants children but hates being put under pressure (understandably). Good luck this cycle ladies xxx

RhiBee29 · 03/07/2017 07:12

Back to work today, bleeding has mostly stopped. Dreading the questions but need to face up to it and move on. Thanks for all your support over the last week Flowers

Good luck to everyone in the 2ww x

Shredtheevidence · 03/07/2017 06:20

@katiegd that is always tough.

How are the rest of you ladies doing?

We are on holiday glamping with just a fabric wall between us and DD so not really conducive to lots of dtd. I am still confused as to what mybctcle is doing so I am pretty much at the sit and wait stage. I either missed my lh surge overnight and pretty missed my fertile window or ov'd late or early in which case I may be covered. Either way I am taking a of test before friend comes over with a bottle of wine on Thursday as af is officially due on Friday!

katiegd · 30/06/2017 14:28

Hi all,

Sarah - that sounds like a really tough and brave decision you've come to. I'm glad you're able to look at the positives in your life as it is.

Rhi - I hope you are doing ok and being kind to yourself.

Welcome to the new people.

I'm having an emotional few days. AF showed up today, so I'm onto the next cycle. Also just twigged today that one of my colleagues may be pg. I work in a really small team so it's going to be quite hard to cope with if my suspicions turn out to be correct (all the signs are there so I'm fairly sure I'm right).

I'm generally feeling really tearful and fragile! So unfair that the inevitable discovery that you're still not pg happens at the time of the month when emotions are already all over the place.

On the plus side, it's Friday and I've had cake. So it's not all bad.

Seasidegirl74 · 29/06/2017 15:13

Thanks Sarah! Yes, it'll be very lucky on first cycle! Hopefully we'll all be lucky very soon Smile

lisara79 · 29/06/2017 15:13

@rhibee29 I k ow. it's strange... my hormones are still all over the place... I think you'll cope as you cope, if you know what I mean... For something that is so common, it really does hurt, in all ways x

Sarah2209 · 29/06/2017 14:59

Hello seasidegirl.... nice to have another ladies in her 40's here! Im also 43, 44 this year and ttc No.1...

Hope your emotions are a good sign.... be lucky to conceive first cycle!!

Welcome x

Seasidegirl74 · 29/06/2017 14:42

Hello! First post on the site... Can I join you lovely ladies?

43 years old
TTC #1
Cycle 1
8 dpo
6 days to AF

So emotional... Can't stop crying which is completely alien to me as I'm usually very much in control! It's pathetic! Xx

Sarah2209 · 29/06/2017 13:53

RhiBee - your homones will be all over the place not to mention your emotions... and hubby has lost the baby too, so it's no wonder your both emotional... give yourselves some time - both for your body to move on and your heart. Flowers please do stay around...

Katie - could be too early! Hang in there...

Shred - oh that's rubbish. I'd still be DTD as opks can sometimes be wrong! Doesn't hurt to hedge your bets.... maybe every 2 days just in case...

Well me and Hubby has a very serious talk, his health hasn't been brilliant and our financial circumstances have changed so we no longer can afford ivf... so we've given ourselves 4 months - that's when my Clomid finishes and then we're going to stop if God hasn't given us a baby.... it's been a long road and emotionally, as you all know, it's so hard to cope with the disappointment each month....

Tough decision but I have to face reality of our ages and circumstances. Sad though Sad

However I have a great DH, 2 lovely dogs and a good life so can't be too upset if we're not meant to have a baby x

Fx to all waiting and welcome new user...

Hi can I join? I'm not sure if I even count as in the tww? I'm 31 and if I'm pregnant this will be number 3. We aren't ttc but 5 days before ov (which is due to be today) we had a little accident (see my post, its embarrassingly TMI) and we decided not to bother with the morning after pill as according to my Flo app it wasn't my fw. Since then I have googled and googled and people have indeed fallen pregnant from sex 5 days before ov although I think its a long shot. To be honest even though we aren't ttc I'm kind of hoping its happened Hmm I came off my pill in March so my cycles have been a bit erratic so I may have ovulated earlier or later. I suppose that's why I feel like I'm in the tww?? x

RhiBee29 · 29/06/2017 07:56

@lisara79 I'm really shocked at how it's affecting me. Hubby & I went to the cinema yesterday to take our minds off it and both came out crying like babies...we saw Wonder Woman WTF?

lisara79 · 28/06/2017 22:15

@rhibee29 Please stay around... wouldn't be the same without you! I saw my doctor yesterday and, although we are planning to try again from next cycle as long as AF is normal, she said that you have to take all of the time you need and it can be a very traumatic experience for both body and mind - and I wasn't as far as you and didn't need any intervention... you have to be kind to yourself.

@shredtheevidence it may still be early... from what I understand, every pregnancy is different.

Not sure what is happening this month. I always get my positive opk on cd26. Cd26 today and no positive. Have had a bit of ewcm but feeling a bit lost this month.

McTufty · 28/06/2017 10:22

katie sorry about your BFN, hopefully not too late for this month if you're not due till tomorrow or Friday!

rhibee so sorry about your experience Flowers Please do stick around on this thread.

RhiBee29 · 28/06/2017 09:52

Thanks @Shredtheevidence for sharing.

We've decided to wait until we get back from holiday in September to TTC again. Hoping it will give us time to process and let my body heal and cycles return to normal. Is it ok if I stick around as I'm sure I'll have lots of cycle related questions?

Shredtheevidence · 28/06/2017 09:19

@rhi I had medical management of mmc. For me it took a normal cycle (which is 40 days) after it had come back though all seemed well had tons of ewcm eta, more so than ever before. Xxx

RhiBee29 · 28/06/2017 08:16

Morning all. Thanks for asking after me. Ended up having medical management yesterday as hcg still high, awful injection and very painful cramping. Back to hospital tomorrow to check hcg, if it's still elevated they'll do an ERPC. I just want it to be over with now, it's just dragging on like torture.

Can anyone with MC experience tell me when their period returned and cycles got back to normal?

katiegd · 28/06/2017 07:29

Well, I caved and tested this morning and it was a BFN, but it was a cheap boots test so it's possible it's too early (but I'm not holding out much hope). I'm due AF tomorrow/Friday. I've feeling really crap and so irritable the last few days.

Melodypond17 · 27/06/2017 21:37

Thank you :)
I'm in halkidiki in Greece having an amazing time! x

EMHW123 · 27/06/2017 18:37

@Sarah2209 thanks Hun! I'll definitely reduce that!! 😊

Sarah2209 · 27/06/2017 12:13

Hello EMHW123 - well the articles I read all suggested even small amounts, especially before and during ovulation. There's something in the soy that can stop the sperm reaching the egg!

LittleMimosa no offence at all - I've read those too and there are those that suggest vegetarian and vegan diets are best for fertility... it is a minefield of information... but the Soy one was particularly damning so I won't be eating that again until after conception...!

Melodypond have a great honeymoon...

Katiegd - I have Yorkshire decaf so I still get builders tea without the caffiene....

KitKat - so sorry to hear that. That's tough on you....

RhiBee how are you doing?

cannonball8726 · 27/06/2017 10:44

Thanks mctufty. I'll check out Create. Did you choose to do it in August or do they have no slots til then? Do you know if they do evening slots?

Melody have fun! Where abouts are you going?

McTufty · 27/06/2017 09:21

cannonball

I have booked in for one at Create - it's not till August but I'll let you know how I get on! It's £385 for me and DH. I want to either set my mind at rest, or to take steps to address whatever problem there may be with me. If there's a problem it will still be there in a year so I reckon why wait? It is a lot of money and I'm lucky to be able to pay it but I think it's worth it.

melody have an amazing time!

Melodypond17 · 27/06/2017 09:11

2dpo and heading off on my honeymoon so that's one way of distracting myself from symptom spotting... x
