Hello all,

I am 25 years old and have been DTD unprotected for over a year to no avail. Have a generally healthy lifestyle as does husband. Please can you tell me how long it took you to get pregnant and at what age? I just want to know how it is with others?

Also, it isn't unusual for a normal healthy couple to take upto 18 months to conceive. They do say to flag with your gp after a year so they can do a basic round of tests for you and your DH.

Almost 3 years. I was 26 when we first started TTC. DH 28. 14 months unassisted and then another 14 months under the fertility clinic. I have pcos and needed clomid and metformin to ovulate. 1 early miscarriage and 10 cycles of clomid later, I'm now 13+4 with baby number 1.

Do you have regular cycles and do you know if you ovulate? Have you been using ovulation predictor kits?
