Jesus Christ someone tape my hands together - Prego Tests

Get me a straitjacket...I can't stop testing my pee because I've lost my mind.

In a nutshell;
-Been with hubby now 10years, married for 2
-Decided to start trying for a baby
-Never been on the pill, all hail the wonders of condoms
-I ovulated on the 4th June and baby danced on both 4th and 5th
-Im taking STUPID tests every single day (cheapo amazon and SD)
-all were negative but of course I'm testing TOO EARLY
-and breathe...

I need some direction ladies. Why am I feeling so intensely crazy? I can't even wait another 5 days till period is due. Okay so I feel some weird symptoms, like a period pain type of niggling pain every night, a silly tonne of flatulence and hysteria. I just can't stop testing.

I even had a very vivid and incredibly real dream this morning that 2 lines appeared. So I tested but still a BFN.

How can I stop myself from testing every day? Has anyone else been a mad woman and done this?

Omg @MummyGofboys....you caved! Did you use cheapo test or clear blue? I don't know whether I should 'treat myself' to a digital test for the weekend lol

Sake. I just couldn't help myself could i. Period due today and woke up to nothing. Took a test (not with first pee) negative. No period still. WTF!!!

Tried for 3 years for no 2 and no 3 was a complete suprise (5 months after I'd given birth to DS2!) It'll happen Flowers I thought for ages that the cheapo sticks were wrong because I had no results on them but no! I used to test early on an ovulation stick as well if I recall... can't remember the science/reasoning now though.

One drop of wee?! I need me some of that. Except I'd have a waterfall and still it's not enough to produce a line. Congrats on all 3 bubbas, if your womb could have a chat with my womb, id be forever greatful Grin

Nothing wrong with those cheapo tests! I used one with just one drop of wee when we got in from our holiday at 3am. I didn't need to go and I never thought it'd work on such a small amount but there was a super strong BFP! (2nd baby, am now on 3rd!)

But what IS it with all the prego symptoms to top it all off? Like Yeh I'd believe that damn BFN (all 6 to be precise) if my uterus wasn't secretly googling pregnancy symptoms behind my back then faking each and every one.

I have to join this thread!!! I'm due AF tomorrow and have been testing since last week. Done four tests and all negative. I have felt nauseous, cramps, backache, tired, emotional and very sore boobs for a week now. I'm going to be so disappointed if I don't get a positive with all these symptoms 😩😩😩 I WILL NOT PEE ON A STICK NOW UNTIL THE WEEKEND IF AF HAS NOT ARRIVED 😂😂😂

3 for a £1?! I bow down at your self control. That whole shelf would be in my house by now.

Sadly.. I had a friend who had 3 negative tests after her period was late.. 6 weeks later she finally got her BFP. I think i might scream if that happens to me. NO AF BUT STILL A BFN?!!?

@BunsOfAnarchy well done for not buying another test! (she says eyeing up her early testing test. haha)

Please join this boat. We can give each other tips on how to not test but still convince ourselves to try 'one last go before actual AF due date'.

Stupid tests should be 100% accurate 1 day after ovulation lol.

Please tape mine together too, and maybe my legs together while you're at it so I can't pee on any sticks! Did one today at 8dpo knowing full well it'd be negative. I'm an idiot!

Yeh but surely that's the deal right? You do it once and he pulls out and you still get pregnant no matter what time of the month? That's what Jeremy kyle taught me. He needs to get his facts right I'd that ain't the case!

You'd be proud to know....I didn't purchase another test. Look at me making progress (except theirs another 4 amazon cheapies at home and I can't promise I won't go all Pee City on them....)

I don't think you are the only one who thought that.. In fact I know you aren't! We were always taught in school that unprotected sex meant pregnancy.. so DONT DO IT! Wink
None of this "you only have 25% chance of getting preggers in every cycle" rubbish.

Amazing how naive we are about it all until we start isn't it? I mean, I literally thought that unprotected sex at any time meant a baby... Blush

Dandandandandandandan thats a good idea. Yeh I think I left it late dtd on last 2 supposed fertile days. Fingers crossed his swimmers were wearing arm bands and jetpacks.

Oh and also I was like that with DD - however, I got 4 BFNs, even up to the day AF was due. Only got a BFP the day after (and the day after I'd been out drinking as a consequence of said BFNs Blush). So honestly, it really won't tell you anything yet. It's so hard to be patient though!

Fingers crossed Op! However, there is some science about the sperm needing a few hours (ideally 10) to get into a stage to fertilise the egg. Something to do with their tails! So IF it hasn't worked this month, which hopefully won't be the case, you could try doing the dirty deed 4 and 2 days before O as well as on O day and just after.
