Thanks so much. Now it all makes sense. EWCM??! Learn something new every day. And AF literally just arrived. Boo. But on the upside in really happy my cycle has kicked back into normal rhythm immediately following half my life on the pill. Happy days.

I have to say I would just test away to your hearts content! If you can take it emotionally!
I tested regularly well into my pregnancy at least til first scan (and the rest! 🤦🏻‍♀️) those damn Amazon cheapies!
But I had a miscarriage before and it made me feel good!

Incidentally, the first time I ever got a positive test I tested after waking from a crazy vivid dream about a positive test beeping and flashing at me ... not sure if that helps your crazy...

I hadn't watched any since about 2012, so I have a lot of One Born to catch up with! Should keep me going until back to work on Monday but it has to be a secret binge because it turns me into a blubbering wreck and OH looks at me like I am an alien beamed in from outer space! Hi cookie!

Only on first cycle of actively TTC for #2, and AF isn't due until 06.09 but I am already going crazy. Didn't help.myself, mind, by rewatching old episodes of One Born

@chewbacca83 I had to google a lot of these as I had no clue either! I think there's a Mumsnet acronym list somewhere! The few you've mentioned are:
AF - Aunt Flow (period)
DD & DS - Darling/Dear Daughter/Son
BFN/ BFP - Big fat negative/positive (for tests)
CD - Cycle day
OPK - Ovulation predictor kit
EWCM - Egg whit cervical mucus
Not too sure on the others I'm afraid!

Sooo thoughts ladies... Ovia is saying test tomorrow. Obviously I tested today because I couldn't resist and it was a bfn so if I test tomorrow I feel like it's pointless because it'll say the same. Does that make sense? I've really stressed myself today.. I actually cried at work about it. I don't know if I can do another day of wallowing! I was SO sure that this was the month because I just 'feel' different.

Hi ladies, first time poster and first month off the pill! So of course I have done 6 tests all negative! I'm so glad other people are as obsessive as me. I was on the pill for 16 years and 2 weeks after I stopped I felt ovulation pains. And now 2 weeks later I feel like I have period pains so probably not preggers but will test over the weekend.

Sorry to hear you girls are having issues with your boobs! Mine hurt a bit yesterday but I think I was just "imagining" it as they are not bad today.

So my Personal Trainer has been away this month on holiday (he just got engaged) and it appears that I have used this month resting a little too much! I am back to training with him on Monday.. already not looking forward to it!! He has promised to ease me back into it slowly.. which is good! I need to get my butt in gear as I have literally done sod all exercise all week.

I have my "well woman treatment" tonight.. kinda getting a bit nervous about it now.

Just caught up on bake off tonight, pleasantly surprised. Although it really made me want cake and there's none in the house. Damn slimming world!
I didn't come down with anything luckily, stomach is still feeling funny like a strange cramp. I can't explain it, I just feel weird. Nipples have started to get really sensitive though today which happens a week or so before AF is due so I'm not expecting anything now.

Why do boobs have to be such a pain? (literally!)

My boobs are literally throbbing today please may I get AF soon they are constantly burning

I only got to watch the first half but was good missing Mel and Sue obvs as they made it funny but rest of format all the same I will be watching the series (and eating cake)

@Cookie1831 I agree with eating rubbish! I haven't been able to stick to my diet for the past few weeks. I have a good week then a rubbish one.. and the cycle continues!

What was Bake off like? now that it has moved channels?

According to my apps I am / I have just had my last fertile day so I guess I am now in the dreaded 2WW stage. (just over 2 weeks.. like 2 weeks and 3 days or something.)

I am trying my hardest not to symptom spot as I don't want to unknowingly stress my body out and then get a BFN.

But I am not as hopeful this month as I was last month.. just get the feeling that we haven't DTD enough. (been so busy.)

September will be a no go too.. as Ovia is predicting my fertile period to be over a weekend where I'm away from home on a hen party. At least I will be able to drink I guess! ha!

Actually.. had forgotten about the hen party.. if i DO get my BFP.. that will be interesting. ah well..

So I tested this morning because I have had the worst night, had no sleep, feeling sick, hot flushes and stomach pains (not really cramp like). BFN :( I think I must be coming down with something even though I never get ill, that or I'm testing to early? I'm exhausted and honestly just want to cry!

I keep seeing really cute baby clothes and want to stop and look at them but I have to keep walking past or else it'll drive me insane.

I really, really want to test but I know it's too early, Ovia says Friday so I'm going to try my hardest to wait until then. I've felt so dizzy and am STARVING today but I feel like it's too early to be having symptoms (aside from the cramping). I feel like I'm going to be so disappointed if it isn't a bfp this month...

Glad you're on the up @Pinkemi. Also I think I read that DTD every other day is better anyway, something to do with sperm counts?

According to BBT if I ovulated I ovulated on CD9 last month, so naturally by CD10 this month I'd convinced myself I wasn't going to ovulate. But looks like I did on CD14, which not only am I taking as a good sign as that's like textbook ovulation day, but means we DTD at the perfect time and a couple of days before.

So I'm back in the TWW. Feeling optimistic but also more relaxed about the whole thing. Except for when shopping. I just want to buy some tiny shoes so bad!
