July bus - jump aboard!

Thought I'd start a July bus, I'll be due to test around the 3/4th (because I'm impatient mostly). Fingers crossed for us all!

minimummy that image was hilarious. Are you going to act casual so he doesn't know it's the fw next week? I often try that with dp but I'm sure my sudden enthusiasm for sex gives me away.

Did my first opk ever at 9am today! It was super faint so I shall do another this afternoon, does that sound right? I'm 3 days away from ov according to ovia. How's everyone's Wednesday going?

So strong positive on opk today as well as static smiley on clear blue. We DTD sat, sun and last night. He couldn't cope with Monday too! Reckon I might try for tonight and push my luck for tomorrow too??

FW isn't until next week but DH 'made moves' after I got out of the shower this morning. Not a bad way to start off the morning!
Then he suggests that we DTD every day. 'Oh really darling? Well, if you insist...' (she says whilst reclining on a chaise lounge, wearing silk lingerie, eating grapes and fanning herself suggestively with a paper fan) 😂 😂 😂

It's quite an effort and I do feel like I'm pestering dp for sex and I think he can tell it's my fw as its the only time I do !

@adrianaweatherwax 😂😂 poor guy! We're going for it tonight, just cooked tea to try and ease the pressure haha! We are still trying to keep the fun as such but can be quite difficult sometimes to forgot what the end goal really is! I think I should ovulate tomorrow so hopefully should be ok if we DTD today and might try and convince him tomorrow. Normally it's him pestering me haha!!!

I know what you mean MrsJones re the pressure and the exhaustion... sometimes it feels less like a 'window' and more like a whole conservatory of time!

I test from cd 11 but have a 32 day cycle. I use the one step ones from Amazon that are same as Wilkinson ones but cheaper. Can bulk buy them in packs of 50.

Yes we are shattered after window too haha!

@Mrsjones17 my DH is exactly the same, he feels too much pressure so we only manage every other day unless I think it's ovulation day and we try and dtd two days in a row. After fertile window we are shattered!

Just been to wilkos and purchased some clear & simple ovulation tests. Never really used them seriously before but I'm going to give them a go this month. Determined not to miss ovulation day like I did last month. Normally I'm 25 day cycle but after ditching the vitamins which extended my cycle then I don't have a clue what cycle length I'm having. Am I best to just test based on a 25 day cycle? The packet suggests from cd8 if so which seems a little early.

My poor DH is finding really hard to dtd every day on fertility window I think he's feeling the pressure! We've gone for every other day at least. Went to the doctors yesterday about an abnormal bleed last month and doc thinks it was a chemical....least I suppose things are sort of moving in the right direction!

I bloody did ovulate yesterday!! I just did an opk and it's totally blank. There was a line there yesterday just not as dark as normal. SO ANNOYING! I've just text DP and said we need to get in quick, I might even leave work early...

science I have a 7 and 4 year old, you just have to be creative! We often dtd in the living room after the kids are in bed as our 4 yr old tends to wake and come straight to our bedroom.

Thanks mamasbook yeah I definitely haven't given up - it was just a bit last minute that he was asked to go, so thrown us off a bit - but I'm hoping we still have a really good chance.

It's my 2nd cycle since mc, but it took 8 cycles the last time...

withcheese you're deffo still in with a chance this month then as its up to 5 days sperm can stay alive. What cycle are you on? I'm on cd 14 and ov on cd 17. So we are very similar.

science I don't have a toddler. My dc is 7. Hmmmm does toddler sleep through in own bed? As those factors would mean evenings would be perfect timing. Morning dtd I find tricky as dc often wakes up early and bursts in!!Blush

I have a toddler and my DH works constantly changing shifts. I see finding time to DTD at the right time will be even tricker this time. Any tips to deal with the toddler bit?
