Hi all,

I started to miscarry at 7wks pregnant on 19th February. I went to the nurse who did a test and confirmed my hcg levels had returned to normal by 2nd March.

I began eperiencing some faint pregnancy symptoms around 12 March and did a test yesterday (18th March). It was positive!

It hardly seems possible that I can fall pregnant again so quickly - I seem to be in my fourth week of pregnancy already. My cycle must have kicked in as soon as I saw blood, which is unusual seeing I was still showing up as pg until 22 Feb!! I phone the nurse today (who was incidentally too busy to speak to me and spoke to me through the recpeptionist) and I heard her saying 'is she sure, is she sure??' Has this happened to anyone else?

It's crazy but I'm

Hi Lissielou;

I'm in Maidenhead so I phoned Slough (Wexham) hospital. The nurse who spoke to me through the receptionist is in the EPU and didn't seem too bothered about my situ and said to have a scan at six weeks.

Might go to the docs tomorrow.

Hi MadameWeb;

I had a blood test on the 22nd Feb and it showed a very slight trace of hcg(about 50 I think she said). So I had to go back on the 2nd March, when I did a urine test. It showed negative.

after you had your misscarriage ( ) did you get a negative test result?

lissielou · 19/03/2007 15:22

where are you spaceman? do you have an EPU coz you need to get a blood test done asap and a scan booked just to be on the safe side!

I got a BFP, but admitedly it took thirty seconds or so to show up. It was a Boots test.

I only took the test because I was having so many symptoms last week such as fizzy boobs, dizziness, going to the toilet in the night and tiredness.

Nurse told me to call again in two weeks time for a scan. I don't know if it's the same everywhere but I can't get good support come hell or high water where I live. I phoned the midwife and she's on leave again. When I miscarried last month I had to leave a message at reception to let her know that things had come to an end and she's never even contacted me to see if I'm alright.
