No period or pregnancy symptoms :/??

Since coming off the pill I have had my period bang on time, arriving always on the 3Rd or 4th of each month. Therefore I was expecting my period to come today or yesterday (sat/sun).. Instead since Friday j have had odd bit of brown discharge which I've only noticed from wiping or once using a tampon for a few hours.. I've since been wearing a panty liner and had nothing show up.

I didn't expect to be considering pregnancy this month as I'm the pervious weeks we have been on holiday and avoiding pregnancy via the "pull out" technique. We were told by our nurse before going on holiday to avoid pregnancy until we returned and had a test for the Zika virus.

We hadn't had sex since coming home two weeks ago but haven't had the money to have the test for Zika yet.

Any thoughts on whether this sounds like pregnancy? I haven't really had any other symptoms x

Hey.. I'm guessing I'm only a week later from ovulation so too early to test. Not got any symptoms unfortunately. Really hoping I am pregnant x

Bless you both. It's so stressful isnt it. You want to resist trying but its impossible when it's all you want to do. My Hubbie doesn't even attempt to avoid it.. I emailed the site you told me about for the Zika test and they do the test in Sheffield so it's worth you emaiing as well to see If they do it in your town, saves extra for travel. I think I'll be having words with Hubbie to get him tested out and if he's clear then I know I am. X

Yes so far! We have other things going on right now but I know we'll both want to ttc in the next two months or so. Not entirely sure what we'll decide then! I would still like to have the private test to put my mind at rest but it's just so expensive! X

I hope so.. Just got to wait now and hope We've done enough. Won't be trying next month If not so will be an even longer wait if this month isn't our month.

Have you stuck to your decision to not ttc yet? X

I think it could be.. I believe the sperm can live for 5 days, so hopefully there'll be some hanging round when you ovulate! Fingers crossed :) x

So got the positive OPK yesterday 18th and we DTD 17th and 18th (last night and night before) will this be good enough? Can't DTD tonight or tomorrow because I'm working nights x

Oh that test looks positive Smile I think that means you should ovulate within 24-36 hours?!
Exciting :) get baby making! Maybe DTD today and tomorrow?
I'm not sure though, hopefully someone with more knowledge can give better advice.

Hey girls!!

After a dry month we finally DTD last night. Did another OPK just now at 5.40pm.. Within two minutes the second line appeared and was way darker than the test line. Is last nights deed enough? What the recommendation on DTD and when exactly I'll ovulate? X

The top two of yours are defo positive.. It always make me panic if it's positive or close to because I feel like I've ran out of time. Especially when we haven't been DTD :( x

Well judging by your last one you may have a positive tomorrow or day after, everyone's different though. And then you should ovulate 12-36 hours after your positive (but remember that a positive opk doesn't guarantee that ov will happen.

Mine tend to go from practically no second line to super-dark quickly, after several days of no line. I've attached my latest to this post - the top 3 are positive and from today/yesterday. Prior to those I had no line at all pretty much x

Mine usually start faint and slowly get darker over the days. When do you think I'll ovulate? X

Hi @16MrsE, none of those OPKs look positive. For it to be positive, the test line has to be as dark as, or darker than, the control line. Once you get a positive, you should ovulate 12-36 hours later.

OPKs... The bottom one Is from just now. Yesterday I got the two above the look negative and then the top two are from the day behand. Have I missed ovulation? Am I ovulating right this minute or will it happen tomorrow or day after? Have I missed my chance as me and the Hubbie haven't been DTD??? X

Nah not stupid, everyone has various reasons why certain times wouldn't be ideal for them!
I know it's hard when all you can think about is wanting a baby (I'm always looking for distractions!) but try and take comfort in that it can take a healthy couple a year to fall pregnant.
I know a couple who took 12 months, both early twenties, didn't smoke, rarely drank, generally healthy x

Six/seven months We've been trying now. If we got pregnant next month it would be due in April and April just isn't a good month I know it sounds stupid xx

No. Still no better, really sad I'm missing my chance this month because of it. Baby would have been due on our wedding anniversary x
