Hi,

This is all very new to me so would like to make some TTC buddies :)

Let me tell you a little about myself:
Been with my SO for 2 years now and we're getting married in 31 days! I'm 26 (nearly 27) and my hubby2b is 35. We bought a house last year and feel like now is a good time to start a family!

This is my first cycle and I'm really excited but trying not to get my hopes up as seen that it's harder than it looks.

Any advice would be appreciated :) xxx

Chart update, because I love a chart and it's still a novelty.

Aww @firework83
So sorry to hear that!!! Hopefully next month will be your month!!! I'll have all my fingers and toes crossed for you!!

And thank you Gweatberwax! So excited to be trying eeeeek!!
I really hope your sharp pains are a sign of something good to come?!! Grin

GWeatherwax · 29/06/2017 22:02

I had some right wierd, sharp pains earlier that I'm pretty sure were coming from the womb area rather than the lower intestines. Only lasted 5 mins.

GWeatherwax · 29/06/2017 21:59

Aawch firework sorry to hear that Sad you and OH need to get royally pissed now Wine

It's hard to not let TTC become all-consuming, isn't it Missy? And thanks Smile

That's good to hear Charchar Grin

Firework83 · 29/06/2017 17:35

Thanks @MissyEm but AF has officially arrived. I'm now wondering if I made it all up in my head or whether I have a bug! Feeling a little dejected but my OH and I have the week off together next week so we'll eat, drink, be merry and try again in a couple of weeks :( Taking a leaf out of @GWeatherWax 's book.

Sounds promising @CharChar23 it makes a big difference when your OH is into it as much as you! Good luck.

Charchar23 · 29/06/2017 14:00

Awww congrats Mrstobe!!!
Exciting times for you both then!!
Iv been taking the seven seas trying for a baby tablets!
They are nice and small, but have EVERTHING you need! And they've had great success!!!

I think me and my Hubby are finally committing to TTC!! It always seemed one sided as Iv been ready for ages! And Iv been waiting for him! He's not into sex and usually I'm the one to initiate! We have always used condoms for protection
But yesterday afternoon we did the naughties! He initiated it! And he decided to do it without protection for the first time ever! So I'm sure that's his way of saying let's go for it!
So I'm super excited to be joining in the TTC club! And I can't wait to hear of all your BFP's xx

MissyEm · 29/06/2017 13:37

@gweatherwax you have raised a really great point. I think I need to take a leaf from your book if AF shows next week. Good luck!!Smile

GWeatherwax · 29/06/2017 07:25

I've just realized that this month I've gone a bit mental with the TTC again. I have neglected all my hobbies , hanging about in a limbo of temping, OPKing and symptom spotting.

If AF arrives imma take a break and get back to things that make me happy...

GWeatherwax · 29/06/2017 07:03

Missy I may test on Sunday...but I told myself not to test until next weekend (ha ha ha, yeah right!). You can see where this is going.

Still no spotting or anything...

MissyEm · 29/06/2017 00:43

Enjoy this week's dancing coastalchick

@Gweatherwax, will you test or just ride out until AF doesn't arrive?

good luck @firework83 all sounds positive, it's hard not to read into it too much and just let the days pass by. Good luck!

MissyEm · 29/06/2017 00:38

Hold on in therefrowningflamingo not long until we will learn our fate. Really trying to ignore symptoms as PMS. Role on next week!

MissyEm · 29/06/2017 00:36

What a great week for you Fefioefum Huge congratulations on your week of wonderful news!!!

FrowningFlamingo · 28/06/2017 23:54

Congrats fefi!!

GWeatherwax · 28/06/2017 21:53

Yaaay! Congratulations Fefifoefum!! Awesome news!

This thread is doing really well with the BFPs Grin

Hi Coastal! Welcome. Sounds like the perfect time to get baby-dancing.

coastalchick · 28/06/2017 20:09

Hi its been a while but am back.

My OH and I had decided we would TTC when we moved house (mid-April_ but then he had a big flid out and decided that moving and TTC was too overwhelming. He has just turned 34 and I turn 39 in Sept. So I was stressing a bit and not saying anything as didn't want him to feel pressure but we've just had another convo a few days ago and he's happy to start again so here we go!!! Just finished a period so we had better get cracking in next few days. Had a test by specialist and am ovulating and the digital things seem to show that too so just hoping it works

Firework83 · 28/06/2017 19:49

Wuhu congrats @Fefifoefum that's amazing! What an amazing month for you.

I just got a BFN gah which has confused me SO MUCH! I even had brown discharge last Friday which seemed like implantation. So confused. Having a cider to commiserate.

Fefifoefum · 28/06/2017 18:56

So, apparently I'm having the best week ever!
BFP this evening! Good god! I really didn't expect this!

GWeatherwax · 28/06/2017 11:51

I know right, Flamingo? Madness!
Aaw but it is overwhelming - but as everybody says I don't think there's ever a "right" time (or a perfect one, I should say!). Financially I worry, childcare is so expensive but like many in this day and age I cannot afford to give up my job or take a few years out, as much as I'd like to. But you'll make it work! Smile
EWCM a good sign, get shagging Wink

9DPO, AF due Fri. More cramping. I'm 50/50 between thinking upduffed and PMS symptoms (eating all the things). Who knows!

FrowningFlamingo · 27/06/2017 16:20

Wow weatherwax what on earth goes through people's minds when they say this sort of stuff???
I'm having a bit of a wobble today about TTC and secretly wanting to wait another few months but I'm just being silly so I'll keep quiet and carry on! Finally sorting out my new job contract and had to chat with DH about some financial stuff and it's all a bit overwhelming!
Well done in the job fefi!
Lots of promising symptoms around here for you all :) I've had EWCM today so I think I was right about my clue app being a few days behind.

GWeatherwax · 27/06/2017 15:33

Oooh Firework that sounds really exciting!! Lots of promising signs Grin keep us updated!

Aye, I did contemplate ramming her walking cane up her arse but I hear you can get fired for that kind of shenanigans.

Firework83 · 27/06/2017 15:27

Wow @ GWeatherwax I would've struggled not to hit the cow! So disrespectful.

Congrats on the job @Fefifoefum, and all sounds promising. Keep us posted. When will you test?

I enjoyed a sober Glastonbury actually...instead of booze i was happy with ice cream and chips haha.

i had what I think can only be implantation on Friday evening followed by A LOT of nausea which seems to have settled now along with my boobs which felt they were going to explode. They are still sore but not as bad. AF due Thursday so we'll see. Annoyingly my OH is away very early Thurs - very late Sat so if AF is late I will need to wait until then to test.

Every sign is pointing to a BFP but I've convinced myself I won't be that lucky first time TTC. Time will tell!

GWeatherwax · 27/06/2017 15:00

Hi Fran, I know it can take a while for things to get back to normal but other than that I'm a bit clueless. I've heard of periods taking a while to come back but if you're unsure speak to your doctor Smile and welcome! Cake

GWeatherwax · 27/06/2017 14:58

There's a woman at work who I find slightly irritating but rarely have to interact with. Anyhoo, she was just walking past me and put her hand on my belly exclaiming "is there no baby in there yet?!" Shock

I am always the one to ask why didn't you say...? But now I truly understand when people say they were too shocked to react!!

(And no, NOBODY knows we're TTC)

Fran101 · 27/06/2017 13:40

Hi everyone,

Very new here & was after some advice? I'm 27 been with my husband 10 years, married for 1 & about to move house.

Long story short, after issues with my smear tests a couple of years ago I was put on the mini pill, I stopped taking it nearly 8 weeks ago and haven't yet had a period Confused is it likely that I could get pregnant before having a period? We are in no major rush but the not having a period thing is a bit annoying now and just wanted to know if anyone knew the answer with regards to conceiving?

Thanks xx

Fefifoefum · 27/06/2017 13:23

Everything crossed for you em!
