Hi,

This is all very new to me so would like to make some TTC buddies :)

Let me tell you a little about myself:
Been with my SO for 2 years now and we're getting married in 31 days! I'm 26 (nearly 27) and my hubby2b is 35. We bought a house last year and feel like now is a good time to start a family!

This is my first cycle and I'm really excited but trying not to get my hopes up as seen that it's harder than it looks.

Any advice would be appreciated :) xxx

Hi everyone! Have been absent for the weekend - hope you all had a good one? @Magpie24 sorry to hear you're still feeling poorly 😔 The month seems to be going slowly I feel with this all being a waiting game! OV due on Thursday so a busy week planned for DH 😜😂

MummyGofboys · 05/06/2017 15:29

@Mrstobe90 I feel really sick and light headed today, think I might be coming down with something. The symptoms are still there, that's a good sign, not long until you can test.

@AdrianaWeatherwax Thinking about postivties is good and then you get a nice surprise when you get your positive test xx

Magpie24 · 05/06/2017 14:45

Hi everyone! Feeling a bit sorry for myself as still suffering from a chest infection. Off work today. Makes me wonder how I'll cope at work if I get bad morning sickness. Anyone worry about that?

Mrstobe90 · 05/06/2017 13:51

mctufty it's good that you're focussing on the positives :) I'm trying to do the same but not succeeding lol

Mrstobe90 · 05/06/2017 13:50

mummyG I'm good today :) less irritable but boobs are still huge and sore! Thanks for asking :) how are you?

Adrianna I'm scarily calm about the wedding. Not nervous or manic in the slightest which is weird as I'm normally a stress head lol hope this month is your month

AdrianaWeatherwax · 05/06/2017 13:34

Ps. Big up the moonstone appreciation! I'm a big fan of my rocks. Smile

AdrianaWeatherwax · 05/06/2017 13:33

Thanks everyone! Grin hope you are all well. Are you relatively calm with the wedding coming up, MrsToBe or manic as hell? Grin
I know lovelyotherdinosaur, can't believe that's almost a year already! How quick the time has flown. Good luck with the OPK. Are they just a more expensive version of the green one? Maybe. Am I willing to bet £30 on it? Eh, aye!

Been properly TTC since January, McTufty (congrats on your marriage btw!) So here's hoping! Two of my best friends (in my small friend group) are due in the next 3 weeks so it would be really great!

Drinking at the wedding = great positive. I've a prosecco day lined up for July if I get another BFN. Wine

McTufty · 05/06/2017 12:58

Hi adriana! Have you been trying since November? Sorry AF came and hope next month is your month. My best friend conceived on her 7th month of trying so fingers crossed that's your month too Smile

I'm feeling fine today, no symptoms at all. Cramping has gone so either (in my dream world) that was implantation cramps, or it was ovulation pain (would be late in the cycle if I was regular), or even just pill withdrawal.

Either way there's a wedding we are going to in July I would like to drink at - I am trying to focus on positives of not being pregnant! I feel totally normal today so I assume the honeymoon baby hasn't happened but I'll test next weekend if AF hasn't come, just in case!

I think I will buy ovulation kits next month. I am inputting my data into Ovia too but these kits sound simpler.

MummyGofboys · 05/06/2017 12:04

How is everyone feeling today? Xx

Mrstobe90 · 05/06/2017 10:26

Adriana Welcome :) Congratulations on your wedding :) sorry AF arrived! I hope this cycle is the one for your BFP! :)

Adriana congratulations on your August wedding. I can't believe it's nearly a year for us!! I think if I don't get my BFP this month I'm going to try the clear blue OPK as just can't seem to get any definite positives with the cheapy green ones

MummyGofboys · 05/06/2017 07:35

Hi @AdrianaWeatherwax 👋🏻👋🏻 hopefully next cycle will be more successful. Don't lose faith xx

AdrianaWeatherwax · 05/06/2017 07:04

Hello, we're 6 pages in but I'd like to join please! I'm 28 and DH is 30.
Like lovelyotherdinosaur we got married last August and I've been off the pill since November.
The other day I caved and bought some Clearblue OPK just to see where I'm at (cheapo OPK from last cycle revealed constant negatives). This was recommended to me by a friend who's had fertility issues, although after reading fairfax's post I feel better (and it's not even been a year yet so I am in no way complaining!).

Like magpie my AF arrived yesterday, ho hum.
Hope everyone is well today!

Mrstobe90 · 04/06/2017 23:22

Awesome! It really is a small world!

Not too far from you at all, Ellesmere Port :)

Mrstobe90 · 04/06/2017 22:30

Magpie Omg you're kidding?? I'm in New Brighton! Where are you from?

OP posts:
Magpie24 · 04/06/2017 22:18

@Mrstobe90 I'm also from the Wirral! Small world!! But I've lived in London for the last seven years :)

Mrstobe90 · 04/06/2017 22:10

MummyG I have a very diluted scouse accent but when hanging out with friends from Liverpool, my scouse accent comes out in full force haha!
That must've been nice to see the country! I like to think I've seen a lot of England and Wales, but there's still a ridiculous amount of places that I am still yet to see!
I've always wanted to visit the parts of Scotland that are in the middle of nowhere! They always look soooo stunning :)

OP posts:
MummyGofboys · 04/06/2017 21:56

@Mrstobe90 that sounds wonderful. Do you have a scouse accent then? I will need to visit there. Stephen was in the raf so Iv been up and down the country to visit him but we settled back home in Dumfries and Galloway. Lochmaben is just one of the many little towns in it. I love Scotland, I am a bit biased though. Xx

Mrstobe90 · 04/06/2017 21:51

MissyEm I'm sorry this is happening so close to you! I hope everyone you know is ok!!

MummyG I'm more nervous than excited lol I keep thinking it's not going to happen for me. I really hope it does - and soon!
And it sounds lovely :) I've never heard of it but now I can add it to my list of places to explore!
The Wirral is a mixture of vast countryside, seaside, woodland and cities. It's a huge peninsula that has everything so I don't think I could ever live anywhere else. I'm very much a home bird lol

OP posts:
MummyGofboys · 04/06/2017 21:31

@MissyEm oh my goodness. That must be so scary and must hit you hard every time something like this happens!! Xx

MummyGofboys · 04/06/2017 21:30

@Mrstobe90 it's my right side eeek it's very hard not to get a little excited isn't it. Iv heard it the Wirral. I am in Lochmaben, not far from the border to Carlisle. It's beautiful. Lots of countryside and lochs. I love the sea. You are so lucky. We are about an hours drive from the nearest beach xx

MissyEm · 04/06/2017 21:27

Me too!! Haha. Fx ladies. A walk by the sea MummyG sounds like a great place to be, far away from London. I work in London l, luckily missed London Bridge by 2 days. My employer has had to set up emergency calling system so that they can check everyone is safe after each attack in London by phone, text and email however they can get hold of each and everyone of us regardless of the time or day.

Mrstobe90 · 04/06/2017 21:13

MummyG Omg I've just been doing that too lmao! Hoping that the dull cramps and sharp stabbing pains in my lower left abdomen are implatation pains!! Fx haha

OP posts:
Mrstobe90 · 04/06/2017 21:12

FrowningFlamingo We must just be mad haha! people assume we're loaded and we're really not. I'm just impatient and want everything but want it now. My DH is trying to teach me patience lol
And I'm sorry the news has affected you so much! I've always found that whenever anything really bad happens, always look for the people that are helping! It will always show you that there is much more good than bad in this world.

MummyG Where abouts in Scotland are you? I've somehow never been, even though I've had a few chances to.
I'm in a place called The Wirral. It's about 15 minutes away from Liverpool and it's beautiful. I live a 3 minute walk from the sea :)
