cazzybabs · 19/03/2007 19:17

Loopymumsy and a littlebitfishy - well done!!!!! So pleased for your both!

But very about penutbutter. At least it happened fairy early on (if there is an at least). Having had 2 mc I am not sure, but I think it is easier than having to make a tough choice later on...a friend of mine terminated her very very much wanted baby last week as it had genetic problems.

Lol Loopy. When my dd was nearly the same age as your dd1 is now, I was starting to think that I might be able to cope with a second child. I like some nappy-free time between my children.

Incidentally, both my kids are currently transfixed by "In the night garden" on cbeebies. What is that about?

I'm resisting the urge to go to the loo again, just to check...

Good luck with the tests Becklespeckle - I'm glad your AF finally made an appearance. Managed to resist temptation for now... have decided to test on Wednesday if there's no sign of AF, although I'm feeling pretty PMTy so I'm sure there will be by then.

becklespeckle · 19/03/2007 17:28

thanks fruitful! AF arrival means blood tests can be done which will hopefully lead to some help with cycle... your hormones should be doubling by the day so you should get a nice dark line in a day or 2 (fingers crossed)

fruitful · 19/03/2007 17:19

Its hard isn't it fleacircus. I'm really not at all convinced by my line though. It's a kind of shadow. Might develop into a BFP in a day or two. Or it might not. So I'm no better off than before I tested, really.

Good news about the af becklespeckle (you don't hear that often on here!)

fleacircus · 19/03/2007 16:56

Very hard, I seem to have no willpower at all - although surprised in a way I haven't been tempted even earlier, last month I was a wreck!

becklespeckle · 19/03/2007 16:53

ooh, is hard not to test isn't it, I bought some of those cheap ones off of ebay so I could do a test once a week or so after CD40+
that way I don't feel like I am peeing on £10 every time!

fleacircus · 19/03/2007 16:51

Sitting here desperate to pee, still trying to decide whether to do it on a stick or not. Silly really, it's only another day or two to wait and testing early is literally pissing money away, but I'm still tempted.

fleacircus · 19/03/2007 16:50

I've been counting day 1 as first day of spotting, although someone else on here said I should be counting from first day of proper flow. It makes it easier for me to count from spotting as that is always dead regular but what happens afterwards varies a bit. To be on the safe side with TTC I assume I could be fertile from day 9-18, so that means if actually my cycle starts later than I think at least I wont miss ovulation.

becklespeckle · 19/03/2007 16:18

thanks beansprout! obviously am still hoping it is implantation bleed or something but given the nice crop of spots enjoying a holiday on my forehead I think its more likely to be AF, hope it a better/normal one this time!

beansprout · 19/03/2007 16:11

Beckle - I'm as chuffed at the possible arrival of your AF as I am the bfps (congratulations to those with them btw!)

becklespeckle · 19/03/2007 16:09

is always hard to wait fleacircus, I would do it Weds if you due Tues or Thurs. Would you count spotting as CD1 or first day of heavy? I only ask cos got to have a blood test done on CD1/2 but last AF I had on/off light bleeding for 2 weeks before it kicked off properly.

becklespeckle · 19/03/2007 16:06

wow! finally this thread seems to be picking up!

Well should be CD70 for me today but may be CD1! I have some brown stuff today - could be AF - guessing it probably is although she took a couple of weeks to get going properly last time so will lurk on here a few days longer until I'm sure if that's okay!

fleacircus · 19/03/2007 16:03

Thanks Fruitful - I know I should wait, just finding it hard! Also cycle is funny, spotting/very light dead regular with heavier bleed usually a couple of days later, although last month it was a bit earlier. So it's the spotting that's due tomorrow, might not even be proper day 1 IYSWIM. Have managed to stay relatively sane this cycle but can feel that going awry now!

I hope your faint line is confirmed soon - at least we're finally getting a few more March BFPs!

fruitful · 19/03/2007 14:38

HOORAY!

Can't stand it when its too quiet!

Congratulations alittlebitshy. And for loopymumsy.

I tested today too. I got the faintest of faint lines that showed up at about 8 minutes on a 5-10 minute test. It might be an evaporation line though. I'm feeling vaguely crampy. Mind you I feel like that in early pg too.

So based on that, I reckon you should wait fleacircus. Waiting definitely beats squinting at a pee-stick under a bright light and wondering if the line is coloured or not.

I've run out of tests so am going to wait to see if af shows up or not.

alittlebitshy · 19/03/2007 14:25

congrats too loopymumsy.i did 2 tests too. lol.

i'm too scared to go over to antenatal just yet, gonna wait a few weeks or til i can't keep away any longer

thanks for your congrats everyone. good luck for those waiting/testing.
