Hello can I join you? To cut a long story short, I was a prolific poster on the conception threads between June and January and then I got my BFP but sadly I had a miscarriage and am now back trying again . My miscarriage began, I think, 3 weeks today but not really sure when it ended and what that means for my cycle. Ovusoft charting software says you count the first day of a MC as cd1 so I am now on cd22 apparently and still waiting to OV AF (in a usual cycle!) would be due 28/29 March so can I stay with you guys for now and hope I get lucky again this cycle?

How many are left on here and at what stage are you all at?

MamaMaiasaura · 22/03/2007 14:42

aw cazzy - it is horrible to feel like an outsider. WHat is it u do?

Feedmenow - hugs hun xx

Consultant just called.. She said the blood test on CD20 was way too early cos I only started clomid on CD5 therefore would have been CD15 .. feel more relieved now. So today would be CD21 - does that make any sense? Altho started cycle and should be CD26 from that cos of clomid it has knocked me back to CD21 today - which is a relief and makes sense as had a v long AF.

SHe said that I need to call her in 2 weeks to update. NEed another liver function test too as my ALT is still double what it should be, altho has come down. Said perhaps I shouldnt have already startred clomid

She also said that need to leave 6 weeks from first course of clomid before thinking about next course which will most likely be up to 100mg a day. So if no AF I have to keep pg testing till 12 April then do another pg test. IF neg and no AF start provera and then clomid. Also have to get lft done in 2 weeks. Some complicated.

Still feel icky.. would an increase in progesterone make u feel ick? (wishful thinking here methinks)

Called DP he is so supportive and I love him to bits.

oops didn't mean to post it twice! Not that upset - I only did it to correct my spelling!

feedmenow -

Oh god I have offended half the people I work with today in true CBs style. We have a counsellor at work and they were disucssing the job and I said in a jokey way "Oh I think it would be great hearing all that gossip" and everyone took great offense. I really didn't mean it like that and now I want to go and cry . I am already slighty the outsider. Oh well - nearly the holidays.

I'm out of here as period arrived this morning...
Might see some of you over in April, but will keep my fingers crossed that I don't

cazzybabs · 22/03/2007 12:32

"this is only a snapshot and is only as good as the day ..." don't give up hope...

also youhave only been on it for 1 month...its like only being on the 1st month of ttc...there will be more months.

I am certain I am not this month but you can't help but dream. A month seems such a long time and I feel guilty for wishing it away!

cazzybabs · 22/03/2007 12:29

awen why are you feeling ?

Are you still feeling sick? Any sign of AF?

MamaMaiasaura · 22/03/2007 11:22

sorry for not replying yesterday. Felt a bit the risk with hamster/mice/rodent is the transmission of LCM Virus(Lymphocytic Choriomeningitis Virus) to the feotus.

Bbabymumma · 21/03/2007 16:54

No it helps - antibiotic option not a bad idea. So irritating when they suspect your pregnant and your not. She is quite clueless on these things though. More interested in shoes.

Gracie14 · 21/03/2007 16:50

I had the same dilemma last month. I went for the antibiotic option, but then it depends on what your friend is like as mine then asked if I was just saying that or was I pregnant!

Sorry not very helpful really.

Bbabymumma · 21/03/2007 16:45

Need quick advice if anyone about. Being dragged out with old school mate tonight to theatre who wants to have drinks beforehand. She's very anti-babies.

Do i

  1. Have a drink
  2. Tell her i'm on antibiotics for toothache
  3. Tell her I'm ttc (no no no - she thinks I'm mad for having one already)
  4. Anything else?? Any suggestions much appreciated.

(Prob not pg but just in case!)

becklespeckle · 21/03/2007 16:29

Awen, how dangerous is hamster wee then? (sorry for hijacking but need to know)
I use gloves for cat tray just in cast I get pg and don't find out for ages, should I use gloved for cleaning hamster too? Do you reckon it is okay to handle hamster?
Sorry you feeling so icky btw

Bbabymumma · 21/03/2007 15:33

Sounds like its not that then. Fingers crossed for you. Don't give up hope.

MamaMaiasaura · 21/03/2007 15:19

It can, but I finished it on CD9 now CD25. Still feeling really icky. CM has changed as well. I am going to try and put it out of my mind for now. I know it is only 1st month on clomid but we have ben ttc for ages now and I guess I pinned my hopes on clomid a bit more than i realised.

Bbabymumma · 21/03/2007 13:42

ps can you get symptoms with Clomid? can it make you sick?

Bbabymumma · 21/03/2007 13:35

Good luck fleacircus

Hugs to you Awen. Sorry to hear that you've been given bad news. She's just the fertility secretary what does she know and they don't have all the tests back. Speak to the consultant tomorrow and see what they say. Hope you're sickness passes if not a sign of something else.

MamaMaiasaura · 21/03/2007 12:24

((hugs)) fleacircus

MamaMaiasaura · 21/03/2007 12:24

CD25 now. Still sick. Felt ok waking this morning till I ate breakfast. Thankfully wasnt physically sick. Been sent home from work as really pale and ick. MIght well be a tummy bug.

Norks are less tingly today so perhaps in my head.

tbh am really as just got off phone to fertility secretary to get rseults for blood test had done on friday. She cant give me all of them and consultant not in till tomorrow. She said the progesterone was very low at 1.1 which could show that I didnt ov.. hence not pg. She did say that this is only a snapshot and is only as good as the day it was taken and doesnt mean i havent at all. Really confused and sad. Thought I could handle it but my voice was breaking as I was saying thankyou and goodbye on the phone. I am such an idiot.

NO idea if to expect an AF or if indeed it has all worked.. or if it hasnt that an AF is unlikely to show anyway so will need to induce one and start clomid again.. .. sorry for harping on

fleacircus · 21/03/2007 11:48

Thank goodness, AF has arrived. I'm really glad not to be pg this month, my due date would have been my sister's birthday and I'd truly hate to steal her thunder.

Bbabymumma · 21/03/2007 11:44

Dirty fish tank water contains harmful stuff for foetus's. That's why Arwen wouldnt clean out the fish. If that was my house the fish would be living in their own filth for a long time...

FC2007 · 21/03/2007 11:29

Bbaby - what have I missed about fish?!!

Bbabymumma · 21/03/2007 09:55

PeachyClair - just looked up hyperemesis. Ohhhhh not good!!

Bbabymumma · 21/03/2007 09:48

Good luck for next month FC2007. Prob see you in April in week!

Any news Fruitful?

Awen how is the sickness and norks today?

I have nothing. Keep shouting at dh is that a sign?? Didn't know about the fish and hamster or the Vitamin A! Knew about cat poo if that helps.
