Hi Awen, first month took clomid had 24 day cycle but didn't start on first day of AF (as had no idea when next one would be) so just started taking the day I got them, counted that as CD1. 2nd month I tested on CD29 when AF didn't arrive and got a BFP! I was never given any blood tests to check for ovulation or anything like that tho, lots of people do seem to.
Good luck for monday's testers! fingers crossed for you both (you are soooo good to wait!)

am waiting til monday to test. how good am i?

dh pointed out that mil is coming today so we would not have the space to deal with our emotions (either wahoo or oh bugger!), so i'll hang on tl Monday.....

starting to feel that maybe i had not got as regular as i thought

we'll see though

MamaMaiasaura · 17/03/2007 12:17

CD21 today.. still bding daily . Just wondering when I actually test to see if it has worked as have no idea of cycle length.

Becklespeckle - thanks for message - when u took clomid did it set a cycle lenght?

I have my blood test yesterday to check hormone levels and if I am ov etc. Those ov test kits have been neg so stopped testing as think i was stressing myself out even more.

So wishing the babydust works.. xx

Hi ladies

Are there any of you who chart their bbt please? anyone close to testing?

FurryFox · 16/03/2007 21:39

I've missed you too baby Am so sorry you have had to stop ttc for the time being and sorry about your water infections. Sorry your doctors not being too helpful either Hope you get a secondd opinion and they find out what, if anything, is wrong with you. To be honest I don't really know anything about ovarian cysts. Can they be treated? Really hope you can get back to the ttc game really soon.

I'm now on CD14 - last two cycles have been 37/38 days so I guess that's my normal for now.

Hope to still see you around

babylove123 · 16/03/2007 21:13

Furry! I've missed you!!!! How have you been?!!!! Yeh im doing ok, stopped ttc, have been advised by my herbalist not to till the docs sort me out. Kidney tests came back fine but still not sorted, been 2 hosp with water infections twice in 4 weeks Have got apt on Monday to confront doc (he wont help me anymore) and im demanding a 2nd opinion if he wont refer me. I am beginning to think along the lines of ovarian cysts, history in the family and the signs are there.............

Take care! xxx

FurryFox · 16/03/2007 20:51

Babylove I wondered what had happened to you! How are you??? Did you have your hospital appointment? Hope you're ok.x

babylove123 · 16/03/2007 20:39

Hiya, Ive not posted for 5 weeks, moved house and broadband didnt come with me, evil ppl! Im SO behind! Please could someone fill me in?! Thanks!

fruitful · 16/03/2007 20:06

I'm going to test on Monday I think. Would probably have tested on Sunday (got a bfp at 12dpo last time) but I can't handle a bfn on Mother's Day either!

So Alittlebitshy - you'll just have to test tomorrow ... go on, you know you want to ... [evil grin emoticon]

Right, crispy fried duck and Life on Mars calls. Oh dh and I are sooo romantic at the end of the month (not)!

and if you ever need to talk...

becklespeckle · 16/03/2007 18:14

Glad you feeling more positive today and that your DH is wonderful! Not surprised you lost it a bit - takes a while to adjust to it all. Positive thinking is half the battle

Hi Becklespekle - I'm feeling a lot more positive today. Did lose it a bit last night, and DH came home from work early for lots of hugs. Thank god I have a wonderful DH (I actually really mean that )

becklespeckle · 16/03/2007 18:07

at beansprout

becklespeckle · 16/03/2007 18:06

you have been soooo good not testing yet ALittlebitshy! wish my cycle was nice and regular I would count day you started as CD1 even tho it afternoon. I bled on and off for first 2 weeks of last AF but consultant still said count first day of that as CD1.
I constantly try and symptom spot but since last year symptoms of AF are the same as those I had in early pg. Got slightly filled out norks at the mo but had them a week now and still no sign of anything.
jhyesmum, how are you doing?

beansprout · 16/03/2007 18:05

Awen Cd20 no idea when due. Clomid 1st cycle.

jhyesmum · 16/03/2007 18:03

oh blimey I don't expect everyone to coment on mummy. I know people will be thinking about her so that's lovely.

I think you have been v good not testing. I'm an impatient old cow!!

Are you normally regular??

alittlebitshy · 16/03/2007 18:00

jheysmum - i haven't deliberately not commented on your mum btw. I've been feeling for you everytime i see your name

dunno about symptoms.

trying not to think about them cos I am setting ymself up for disappointment.

very tearful today but that could so easily be pmt.

got af ish aches (actually more like somewhere between af and ov aches) so again that could be good or bad.

argh - stop me symptom spotting.
Can't compare with when was pg with dd cos i didn't find out til i was 7 ish weeks, i don't think, so had no clue... plus I am 100% more aware of my body now......

i've been so good not testing haven't i ?

jhyesmum · 16/03/2007 17:54

get testing alittlebitshy! Have you got symptoms??

jhyesmum · 16/03/2007 17:53

Oooooooh, bugger me! Had a heart attack when i couldn't post!! Thankfully found you now!!

Thanks for all the well wishes for mummy. Greatley appreciated and i genuinly(spelt wrong) mean it.

alittlebitshy · 16/03/2007 17:53

not sure if will test tomorrow or wait til Monday (do NOT want to do on SUnday as i don't want a bfn on mother's day!!!)

re my cycle - af started last month late afternoon... that would still class as cd1 wouldn't it????? (clutching at straws, hoping i'm not a day out or something cos of when it started)

feedmenow · 16/03/2007 16:59

I'm here!

Cazzybabs, I just spent a fair few moments trying to work out what a ym skirt was!! Thinking of FCUK and DKNY etc and was just about to come to the conclusion that I am REALLY out of touch when I suddenly realised it should have been "my" skirt.....I hope?
