Clearly losing my marbles as well @MistyBxx Wink It was +ive but out of about 9 tests it was the only one. I've heard negative things about the Superdrug tests giving false positives.

MistyBxx · 09/06/2017 20:25

Oh passmethewine ohhh I'd hate to have handed that gorgeous kitty away, but at least you know it's gone to a good home!
flatwhite how you feeling love? It takes a while to get over something like that, be kind to yourself chicky 🌸
vicsteur so was the Superdrug test negative? You didn't say lol just that you got your hopes up and now have an achey back lol x

Hi, new here. First time TTC, first cycle. Couldn't resist testing before AF (due tomorrow) got my hopes up over a Superdrug test. Nothing else indicates +ive and I've got an achey back now so expecting AF any moment. Fun Hmm

Flatwhite31 · 09/06/2017 18:03

So sorry @passmethewine123. This whole process can be so hard and crap. I'm not bothering this month, as the stress of it and recovering from my accident isn't manageable. Sending lots of love. X

passmethewine123 · 09/06/2017 07:26

And AF had arrived a day early this morning. Fucks sake Sad

Forevertimes · 08/06/2017 21:21

Awwww she is adorable @passmethewine! Welcome back!

passmethewine123 · 08/06/2017 15:19

She's already gone to her new home with a friend. Very sad we couldn't keep her but it was lovely having in the house for a bit, up every couple of hours last night to give her tiny feeds and loo breaks gave a bit of an insight in to what may be ahead in the future 😂😂

Pibbee · 08/06/2017 14:06

Awwww @passmethewine what are you going to do with the kitten??? She is gorgeous!

passmethewine123 · 08/06/2017 08:54

Thanks ladies. I did a test this morning and unsurprisingly it's a BFN 😞 still no symptoms to report, sore boobs are feeling less sore this morning, no nausea or metallic taste. Only possible symptom could be tiredness but that could also be from work!
In other news I ended up bringing g an abandoned kitten home yesterday but my ice hearted OH won't let me keep her 😭

Hi girlies!
passmethewine welcome back chick, you rant away!!🙌🏼
sophsoph metallic taste was a defo symptom for me when I was pg. I couldn't really taste it when I was doing nothing, but everything I ate and drunk tasted of metal. There was no other way I can describe it except coins 😂 you know the smell of a handful of coins?? But in my mouth with every sip of coffee I took and every bite of anything I ate 😂

SophSoph92 · 07/06/2017 15:14

I'm well thank you!
Just wondering, what are all your thoughts on the whole 'metallic taste in the mouth' being a symptom? I've heard some people think it's a sure sign but others think it's an old wives tale!

JellyBean89 · 07/06/2017 13:06

@SophSoph glad to have you back, how are you feeling today?

@Flat I do hope you feel better soon, never know maybe taking the pressure off is exactly what your body need x

@passmethewine welcome back! Sorry you're feeling down, I know waiting is horrible. Sometimes though no symptoms itself can be a symptom! Fx for you x

passmethewine123 · 07/06/2017 06:51

Also sorry to be a misery and negative, just really need to vent and I know you girls will get me. I hate talking to my OH about it, I want to stay positive for him x

passmethewine123 · 07/06/2017 06:48

Hi ladies...some of you may remember me I used to post on this thread a few months ago...I had a bit of a break from Mumsnet as I started a new job and that took my focus off TTC for a while which was nice. However I'm now firmly back in the land of crazy, and still not pregnant 😒
I am 9DPO just now, this is cycle 6 for us. Can't believe I ever actually thought it might happen first time for us, what a naive idiot lol!
I had a really good feeling about this cycle before ovulation, not sure why, but now at 9DPO with no symptoms whatsoever and what looks like a declining temperature that optimism is rapidly fading 😞 I know I'm not out yet but it sure feels like it, I also have a 11/12 day luteal phase so AF should be here on Saturday. If there is a little bean in there that hasn't implanted yet it's time is quickly running out!!

So sorry to all the familiar names who are still here on this journey, although it's heartbreaking I have to admit I do find it kind of comforting that I'm not the only one still not pregnant! 💔

Flatwhite31 · 06/06/2017 22:37

Hi ladies, how are we all? I'm back at work after half term, and deciding to not actively TTC this month due to recovering from my accident a couple of weeks ago. We'll DTD if we want to, but no pressure. Hope you're all ok.

SophSoph92 · 04/06/2017 20:26

It's amazing how much the pill affects you- I had no boob pain at all when taking it!

SophSoph92 · 04/06/2017 20:25

Yeah I thought so! :/ Every twinge you just hope though don't you?! AF due in 12 days...

MummyGofboys · 04/06/2017 20:20

@MistyBxx oh I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope you get a wee sticky bean this time and very soon xx

Pibbee · 04/06/2017 20:17

Hey Soph, glad to see you posting again :) Sore nips 4 dpo is an ovulation thing I think. I get that too. Same with the random cramps. When are you due to test?

SophSoph92 · 04/06/2017 20:15

Thanks ladies, your advice is really appreciate. The other half and I DTD every day in the 5 day window of ovulation. I only ovulated 4 days ago so was just wondering the relevance of sore nipples?? Just an ovulation sign this early on? Also today been having those weird cramps you get a few days before your period?
Amazing how aware of you're bodies you are when you're TTC. Had our 2 year old nephew round today and my ovaries were glowing!!! Haha

MistyBxx · 04/06/2017 10:12

Since November last year. I've got no children at all so this is my first time! I did get pregnant in March but sadly lost it in April at about 7 weeks. It was horrible but I'm feeling positive now, just a waiting game 😊
Tracking is good but can drive you nuts lol x

OP posts:
MummyGofboys · 03/06/2017 22:40

@MistyBxx I really hope so. Not long to wait now. This will be my third pregnancy and the first time I have tracked my cycles. I never understood it all before so had no idea when I ovulated or conceived so it's all a bit new lol. Nice to be able to speak to people in the same boat. How long have you been trying? Xx

MistyBxx · 03/06/2017 22:31

That could defo be implantation chicky! Not that I've ever experienced it myself but I know some people do! Oooof try and hold out now as long as you can before tearing, its hard but worth the wait x

OP posts:
MummyGofboys · 03/06/2017 22:26

@MistyBxx yeah my cycles seem to be short. I have been having cramps again today but more on the right side and totally shattered. Could just be that I am paying more attention to my cycle this month. We shall see. 11 days until I can test. No spotting since yesterday xx

MistyBxx · 03/06/2017 13:38

Hmmm tricky mummyg it could be implantation bleeding (I've heard that looks like pinky discharge) but usually that happens like a week or more after conception. But as your cycles are nice and short, could it be you ovulated earlier than you thought?
Pay attention to your body now... could be something exciting :) xx
