Getting Ready For Baby Challenge - Part 9

I'm another match.com success! He was my first old and he had pretty much decided to give up and thought sod if I'll do 3 more months and I was the first person he saw after that. We had our first date 2 years yesterday. I'd come out of a horrible relationship and just thought I wanted a bit of fun.

The Manchester news is heartbreaking there are no words to describe what a tragedy it is. Hoping all our online friends and family are safe.

Well for me I have just had 2 days of peak opk today is slightly lighter so we have extended our dtd ed sessions to cover that as well! We're exhausted lol. I wish I could just see what was going on in my body.... I'm kind of hoping it was 2 eggs released I think. Gives me double the chance! So cb digital was peak fri and sat tested on Sunday with opk cos felt weird and the was peak Sunday and Monday. Who knows.

Mrs and biker the scan pics are beautiful. It made me feel very emotional!

I just really hope this month works for us. I so desperately want to be pregnant again.

Love all the stories.. DH and I used to work in a pub together when we were 17/18. He was the new hunky bar man and I had to fight a few fellow waitresses off so in could have him 😂 our eyes met across the bar as I was collecting glasses and that was it! Been together 10 years, married for 2!!

Go confused I'm never allowed to play the poker as I'm rubbish! But quite happy to watch and be the waitress (just realised dh has me well trained......)

Lovely stories of meeting DHs... i'll tell you mine (please don't judge 🙈) so I met DH because my dad got made redundant and I had to come back to London to help them clear out the family home to sell up, at the time i was with Abusive Ex-DP and things had just started to go massively downhill in our relationship. Anyways my mum offered me £10 to go and play poker whilst she was playing darts at the pub and in I walked to my DH and his cousin gawking from the bar when my mum asked if I could buy in I basically fell head over heels in love with him and knew I was going to marry him there and then... then for about 2 months there was lots of secret meet ups and trips to Thorpe Park etc whilst we got to know each other as friends although no cheating ever occured! Until one night I fell asleep in his bed and woke up snuggled so I went straight back home cried to my parents about just how badly AExDP had been treating me and how i didn't realise until I formed this friendship and they told me I needed to leave him due to his ways and not to hook up with DH as i was obviously fragile... We got married in Vegas 6 months later and really married 18 months later and now we are coming up to 2 years of being together and Baby Noah is coming!

I cried writing that! Damn pregnancy hormones!

Jupiter I'm going to give it to my friend! Sob. The wool was very forgiving. Didn't quite pull up right enough at the end, so had to put a couple of makeshift stitches in, but not that noticeable.

Dancing that's completely brilliant! Well done, am very impressed. Perfect wool tension and very neat stitches. Your future little chubby bubba will be wearing that before you know it. Oh and yes you can go up a size by casting on more stitches at the beginning and adding a few more rows of decreasing to make up for it. Love it!

Love the OH/DH meeting stories, makes me feel all soppy. DH and I dated briefly when we were 18/19 (I saw him in a pub and loved that he was a tall blonde version of Harry Potter) but had to go our separate ways for uni so ended it (very sad) but always said "oh I bet we'll end up getting married in 10 years!" Many years later I dreamt that he was moving to Australia and woke up all panicky so messaged him out of the blue and he happened to be in London that weekend on holiday(we hadn't had contact for 3-4 years by that point) and we met up. Basically became a couple very quickly, moved in soon after and that was nearly 6 years ago now. We got married last year! Love of my life 💜

He was sensitive - didn't say much other than signing me off, but he passed me a tissue when I needed it and said he was sorry, which was probably really all I was in a state to hear. Have spent some of this evening thinking about what I want to ask the epu on Thursday. I have a tendency to only think of questions once I've left somewhere.

JB I met my DH at school too. Been together 13 years, married for 5.
Dancing I did get signed off thank you. I sat down in his room and burst into tears - not quite how I wanted it to happen, but got the result that I needed.

My DH was my sister's boyfriend's best mate... we'd never met, and were single at the same time... my sis kept saying "___ is single" and her boyf kept saying to DH "hb is single" but i was like no no! Then we both went on Match.com for the exact same two weeks and he spotted me and sent me a message. (I was on hol and didn't look at it until i got home over a week later) The message was lovely and hilarious (especially compared to all the other wronguns) We had a few days of banter followed by a first date and both knew then we'd met the one!! Bought a house the next year, got married last year & baby this year! Once you've had a frog or two it's very obvious when you've met your prince!!

Haha no! Luckily I moved teams but was for about 6 months before moving jobs, sleeping my way to the top 😏 joke of course! My new manager is like my dad 😂
