Hb Deffo see someone about that, doesn't sound too small. Better to be safe xx

Grumpy I think it's good you shared your bump. Sounds like you did what you needed to do. I can't imagine the pain of what you girls are going through.

parsnips she's so cute. My cat is my baby kitten and she is 5.

TheGrumpySquirrel · 23/05/2017 18:27

Dancing that must be really tough. Totally understand the massive mix of emotions. I still can't really believe this all happened to me. I'd just got over my anxiety about actually BEING pregnant!

Another ok day at work just exhausted from last nights crying. DH is home early for once and I just know he's annoyed because I'm not home when I said I would be (welcome to my life thanks AARGH). Stuck at Stockwell right now - too crowded to get on a train Angry

DancingUnicorn · 23/05/2017 13:37

I'm trying to share my story with people personally, but it's harder than it should be. My oh would hate me to put it on fb, but I've told way more people than knew I was pregnant because not telling people makes me really, really anxious. Went out for drinks last week with someone who didn't know and spent the whole time shaking because I was sure I'd be asked about pregnancy stuff. I wasn't, but I should have just told her. I wouldn't have done a big pregnancy announcement anyway, as my in laws from my first marriage are on fb, and I know it will upset them. My kids would have been their grandchildren. I think I'm living in one huge mess of emotion at the moment. Definitely bringing up a lot of other memories.

Hb hope you're feeling better soon. If it carries on, definitely call the mw for advice! It's not too small.

Spreading the love today, because our world needs it so much. ❤️❤️

HbH · 23/05/2017 13:30

Ah sounds like it was always meant to be mrsC

Sorry some of the preggos aren't sleeping well. I found things worse in the first month or so, would lie awake for 2/3 hours, so frustrating! Currently isn't too bad... only one loo break and provided DH isn't snoring in my ear all good. Have you guys invested in a huge pillow/nest situation yet? Won't help the heat or weeing but they look so comfy! I almost bought one a couple of years ago when my sis was preggo cos it looked soooooooo good!

I'm weird today, my heart feels like it's beating strangely and my vision blacked out earlier. Im hoping some lunch and a can of coke will cure it! Would like some advice but seems too small to call anyone about!

MrsC2017 · 23/05/2017 11:19

Hi girls,
Utterly dessert news about Manchester, targeting kids and families and young girls, it doesn't get more despicable than that! Also lived in Manchester and have lots of family there, really hits close to home!
Loving the stories of how you all met! I met my DH in a taxi we ended up sharing in the way home from a night out, we had never met but turns out we lived 5minutes away from each other our whole lives and had loads of friends in common so it was great, we are together 10 years this October!
parsnips blanket is beautiful, wish I was creative!
grumpy you are right to acknowledge your pregnancy, it happened and it was important and the talking to others helps, makes you realise how common it all is!

dirtygrubbybikerchick · 23/05/2017 09:58

@HeyJupiter Same - MANY nighttime wees and too hot. Not getting more than 4-5 hours (6 if lucky) broken sleep a night (I'm usually a 7-8 hour person so am suffering) and I swear it's affecting my usually logical brain as well!

@TheGrumpySquirrel Raising awareness is an amazing thing. I haven't told many people the whole story, but I haven't shied away from mentioning the miscarriage. Before December, I had no idea how common it was. And many people I know have come out of the woodwork since, which helps a little - doesn't ease the pain but does help feeling less alone.

HeyJupiter · 23/05/2017 09:53

It's so awful isn't it Wilde, it's really got to me too. I can't imagine our little babies growing up, going out to a concert and never coming home. Too much. Want to keep babyjupes safely inside me forever.

buzz it's dreadful isn't it. I went through a phase last month where the weeing calmed down but I think now our babies are growing more rapidly maybe it's making it worse again. It's really warm in Norwich anyway and my little furry hot water bottle (the cat) won't leave me alone and tries to sleep on my tummy in the night and overheats me even more. The summer is going to be unbearable at this rate isn't it.

NaturWilde · 23/05/2017 09:49

Lovely hearing all your ❤️ storiesSmile Much needed this morning as the news has really gotten to me. Nieces and nephews in the north who could so easily have been there and DD at an age where she is interested in pop music and concerts. The hormones are making me extra emotional and it's really hitting me.

Sorry to hear about the sickness mummy. How many weeks are you? I was fortunate at first as had no ms and then mild from 7w. It had hit me very hard this past week, 11-12w and am struggling with getting to work/functioning in general. Nothing helps! But grateful as I know, though not always, it's a good sign. And worth it when I feel his fluttering away in there.

buzzmoon · 23/05/2017 09:48

Awh love all your love stories! So ruddy cute!

jupiter in the same! Weeing so much and hot! Except 2 nights ago I went to bed late and slept through without weeing!! Had the longest wee ever in the morning! Couldn't sleep at all last night either after hearing about Manchester:( so sad

HeyJupiter · 23/05/2017 09:42

Forgot to ask.. for the preggos, how are you all sleeping? I was sleeping like a log in the first trimester but for the last week I've been waking up weeing constantly again, feeling very hot (have fan on constantly at night at the moment) and generally restless. Horrible really. I assume this is normal? Ugh.

HeyJupiter · 23/05/2017 09:41

Such dreadful news about Manchester to wake up to. Heartbreaking.

Love all the DH/OH stories though - makes me feel all warm inside. So much love around. No judgement at all confused, just happy that you’re happy!

Anyone that would like the knitting pattern feel free to PM me with your email addresses (if you don’t mind) and I’ll forward it on along with the one for baby booties which is nice and simple too. So lovely that lots of people want to try it. parnsips your crochet is beautiful and your puppy is adorable

HbH · 23/05/2017 08:21

parsnips i soooooooo want a cuddle with your Pup... what an absolute CUTIE! & the blanket is stunning! Clever gals on this group!

Rubbish that you're vomming mummy really hope it is a short phase in your pregnancy.

I think it's great to tackle MC out in the open grumpy hopefully help people feel less alone especially if they haven't discovered MN a friend of mine instagrammed a pic from her hospital bed with a lovely passage about her two girls but also the 3 losses she'd had to raise awareness. Very brave.

Aw thanks seven it does look cute... a different story when it looked at us face on & was like a halloween skeleton 😂 Glad she didn't screen shot that one!!

Manchester 😢

charl19 · 23/05/2017 08:07

So so heartbreaking about Manchester. No where is fully safe😢 hope no one is affected, very sad.

Loving all the meeting stories!! Love things like that!! Well buzz you say about tinder nightmares but I actually met my DH on tinder🙈 my friend put me on there as a bit of a joke but I met DH coming up 4 years ago now! I always joked that I would marry a Welsh man.. I'm from Gloucester, we met on tinder when he was in uni and now I find myself married for 7 months and living in Wales 😂 wouldn't change a thing.. so nice to meet your prince after a string of dickheads!! My best friend too❤️

Hope the sickness eases off for you mummy

Hope everyone has a good day today! Back to rain here! Fx meant to be hot for the rest of the week! Xx

JB1983 · 23/05/2017 07:48

Manchester 💔 What a world we now live in.

parsnips aww your dog is so cute. I still call mine puppydog and he is 8, haha!

Loving everyone's dating stories.

Sorry the sickness has got you so soon mummy.

TheGrumpySquirrel · 23/05/2017 07:41

So sad about Manchester - thinking of those poor people and their families Sad

Sorry been quiet. Last night was terrible I cried all evening and just totally exhausted myself. I've stopped bleeding, amazingly, not sure if that's what's made me realise my little bean is really gone now. Had a relatively good day at work yesterday just as I was walking home from the tube I started to cry and couldn't stop.

I put my last bump photo on Instagram... it's been therapeutic for me to publicly acknowledge this pregnancy. I thought DH would be annoyed (he is v private) but he says he wants people to know because if more people had shared their experiences (loads of our friends are reaching out with their own MC stories now) then we wouldn't have been so utterly shocked that it happened. I also feel cheated out of our happy pregnancy announcement.

I set up the CBFM last night by resetting it and lying to it that yesterday was CD4. First test day is tomorrow, "CD6". At least it makes me feel like I'm doing something and I should know if I ovulate before first AF.

Such cute stories of meeting OHs. My now DH broke my heart at 13, 14 and 15 lol... we then lost touch for ten years but met up via mutual friends in London in 2010 when DD was 5. Been together 7 years this summer, married since last November. He's my person ♥️

oh and confused no judging here.. at the time I was meant to be in a LDR with a guy who had moved to Canada (but he called me once by accident and I heard him chatting up a girl by a swimming pool! I could hear the water! I had to hang up the phone.. 🙈 so after 1 dinner date with DH I ditched him!)

Dancing and tigger I so hope this is your month xx

Mummy sorry about the sickness! Poor you. Hope it eases up as the day goes on.

Buzz yes to prosecco at my house! It's actually in Sardinia - even better! Gives up on not outing self. We are going this August for over two weeks - I absolutely cannot wait.

Springer I'm glad the doc was nice and you got signed off work. Take care of yourself lovely. Have you got anything to keep yourself busy while you are at home?

HopefullyDothButterNoParsnips · 23/05/2017 07:13

She's a puggle seven (pug/beagle cross). She is my little love. I say puppy - she's almost 2 but she's not going to get any bigger so she'll always be a puppy to me.

Thanks - I got a bit carried away with the blanket size wise but it was my first project. Making a few smaller bits now and working on some cushion covers too which are lovely. I find it quite relaxing.

Morning all. Lovely little bumps and scan pics - you're all looking wonderful.

We landed yesterday morning and I've been like a zombie since then. Got a bit of sleep yesterday but my boss stupidly thought I was back in office on Sunday and had promised loads of work out so I had a mad rush getting that done yesterday!

Was lovely getting to snuggle my little puppy again. Back in office today and loaded with a head cold. Only three days til weekend.

So sad about Manchester. We lived there for 8 years before moving to Dubai - our flat was about 5 mins from the arena. Such an awful world we live in at times.

Hope you are all well ❤️

DancingUnicorn · 23/05/2017 07:05

Oh mummy. Hugs to you. Did you say you suffered with ds too? I hope it eases for you. It's very grim, isn't it?!

Please can someone virtually slap me. 6po is too early for symptoms!!! My head is making them up.

Tigger83 · 23/05/2017 07:02
